I'm totally satisfied with my 5 night stay at Rosh Rayhaan by Rotana in Riyadh. It's not just the location, comfort and luxury that make a hotel great, but also more importantly the staff looking after and serving the guests.

Right from the time I arrived, I was greeted warmly by the security and bell boys. Mannan and Mohamed helped with the luggage. Noura at the front desk explained the property amenities well, gave options for currency exchange and also granted a slight late check out.

The in-room dining (food) was good. You can scan a QR code to see the menu and order through the web - very efficient and accurate. The best part was the above and beyond service provided by captain Ashok and his staff consisting of Aijaz Lone and Sushanta Rai. They knew my dinner requirements and made sure the preparations were customized. Payment and billing was also smooth.

Even the breakfast was excellent - good spread and overall good taste (although they can have more variations - it was more or less the same each day, but no complaints). Their managers (Sabin and others), their live counter staff Rafik and Naga Raju, and servers Nithish, Katherine and others were very helpful and courteous.

Housekeeping also did a great job making sure to respect DND and also accommodating special requests (more water bottles etc). Special shout out to Rapik, Nithin and another young fellow from Nepal (forgot his name, sorry).

Overall, great location, nice Rotana brand & excellent staff.

This was my fourth stay at Rosh Rayhan. As usual it was a pleasant and comfortable stay.

The room (213) was very clean, and the cleaning staff was excellent, polite and prompt. However the room had some issues (no sound from TV, only a third of the channels were working, the espresso machine had a broken pedestal) that were fixed quickly.

The location of 213 on the side street (south of hotel) was a bit problematic as there is construction going on that starts at dawn, and on one night even before dawn! So perhaps avoid that side of the hotel if you're a light sleeper.

Restaurant team at breakfast was, as usual, wonderful and very friendly. I'd especially like to thank Roudaina, Mary, Abbas and Faiz.

Fourth time to stay at Rosh Rayhan. I checked in late and was given a small room with no view that looked onto an internal dark atrium and no sun. But the next day I spoke with Hala at the front desk and she expertly and quickly managed to find an alternate room that was bigger and with sunlight. Transfering rooms was super smooth. Thank you, Hala!

I like Rosh Rayhan because it feels different from the other global branded hotels that are all alike around the world. Yet it maintains top level of cleanliness, great service, and convenience, at a reasonable price.

Rosh Rayhan is my go to hotel in Riyadh.

The staff were tremendously helpful. A quick, simple and courteous check in, the concierge team are super helpful, smiley and engaging. We were offered a choice of room on arrival, and being a family of four we opted for the twin room (the beds weren’t big enough for four) but it was enough for two nights. The most impressive things; the gym is fantastic, the staff are helpful and engaging with children and we asked for a late check out and was given 3 additional hours, as well as baggage storage. Great hotel to stay at in a prime location.

Fabulous hotel - centrally located, great facilities and fantastic staff who are extremely attentive (shoutout to Rakib!). The rooms have everything you need and more, and facilities-wise it's perfect for a business trip (well equipped gym, lots of space in the lobby cafe for business meetings). I had a very pleasant stay.

The customer service at the hotel is excellent! My train arrived before the check in time and I was able to check in. Also, I was given late check out due to the departure time of my train. The room was very modern and comfortable. The chocolates and apples in the room were pleasant, delicious surprise! I would stay here again.

Nice but can improve

Not bad, like most hotel rooms needs brighter lighting. Shower floods the bathroom. Need a shoe shine service. Gym should be 24hrs or at least open from 5am, 9am is too late.

I like the size of the room, toilet the perfect location.

I wish if there was a ladies spa there was for men only!

Poor recreational facilities

I'm very disappointed by the service/recreation and feel like I got ripped off. On their website they mention the hotel has a swimming pool, sauna and massage facilities. Out of those 3, only sauna is available for women. This needs to be clarified on their website so people know what they're paying for. Also if you're charging the same amount of money from men and women, how is it acceptable to provide women only 1/3 of the services? Was otherwise good in terms of location and cleanliness.

The located good very closed to Turkish Restaurant Forouj Al Carawan, Topkapi and Anatolia.
Staf are friendly and helpfull.

Overall, a decent stay

Decent location in the business district but beware that not much to do around that area in the evenings. Also, there were other hotels in walking distance that looked more exciting. Food at the breakfast buffet was a little disappointing with an average spread and average quality. Staff was very warm and welcoming though.

Solid hotel

Good hotel in the heart of town. Many restaurant options within walking distance. Spacious room with big bathroom and walk-in shower. Would return again.

They are very slow for anything + I requested pain killers panadol or any they don’t have even they didn’t ofer from any pharmacy the room no view at all so many issues never staying at this hotel they are not 5 star 3 star ok for him

Excellent business hotel in Riyadh

I have spent over 20 nights during 4 visits at this very comfortable and safe hotel. The staff is fantastic. Every single person on the team goes out fo their way to do everything they can to take care of their guests. Great rooms, great internet speed, amazing breakfasts, room service and restaurants and a well equipped gym and pool. Comfortable beds and great showers. Laundry service also excellent. Very centrally located in the business district. I highly recommend.

Worst stay in riyadh

Arrived with no rooms available ; hotel overbooked by 103% as per the staff... waited for one hour that’s around 11.00 pm and then was give. A smoking room(I am not a smoker) that was filled with smoke residues and smell that kills !!

Better than the Hyatt next door

Switched from the Hyatt Regency, which is across the street, to the Rosh Rayhaan. Overall the Rosh was a much better overall experience, big and bright rooms, great rooftop terrace, great gymn. Food options aplenty! Only negatives were the cold AC in the restaurants. And the small lobby cafe could do with more breakfast pastries on offer. Overall excellent stay, will definitely plan to come back.
