This is the sort of motel that nightmares are made of. Check in begins with a sign on the door saying call this number for check in, when you call you get told your room number and that the key is under the doormat, i was told the wrong room to begin with and had to call again.
Then in the room it was dirty, run down and the bed is worn out. To top it all off the bed linen had not been changed and the bed had just been remade with the pubic hair of the last person throughout. Absolutely disgusting! Do not stay here, it is definitely not up to Australian standards.

Probably the only negative would be the thin walls - we were woken up many times during the night by other guests opening and closing doors, cupboards, rattling pipes etc. Otherwise a great place and would definitely stay again.

The lady was quite rude and unfriendly when I arrived, I understand she was tired but that is nothing to do with me.
She dumped the key on the counter, typed in the room amount into the eftpos machine then slammed the door behind me once I’d paid.
The room was incredibly basic and when I walked into the room the smoke alarm fell off the wall.
It was clean but I won’t be staying here again unless there was no other option.

Weekend trip to Nagambie

Check in was quick and efficient. Room was fairly large and clean. Attached bathroom was a little dated, however more than serviced their purpose for a country motel. Some of the adjoining guests were a little bit loud, otherwise we had a great time in Nagambie.

For an older building, it is very neat and tidy.
The rooms look like the photos and are simple with the basics provided. The staff were friendly and allowed us an earlier check in. No one was around when we checked out so we dropped the keys into the key box.

Our room did have a smoke smell to it which was unpleasant, however it was otherwise clean and tidy.
