We came to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and the hotel surprised us with a champagne bottle & a nice card as we entered our room.
We had a sea facing balcony room and the views were spectacular. The sea is right in front of you.
The hotel staff is amazing, always smiling helpful and most of all welcoming.
The property is very well maintained and close to beach, restaurants and most of all a 10 mins walk to ferry dock. I would recommend this hotel for your stay at Amalfi coast.

I traveled with a friend and stayed at this hotel for a couple of days. Upon arrival, we were not greeted and had to wait before we were able to check in as the staff came out of the staff room after to support.

After finally checking in and getting to our room, we discovered that the room safe was not working. I called reception, and a staff member came up to assist. However, he appeared unable to resolve the issue and informed us that someone else would come to inspect the safe, but no one ever showed up.

We also experienced an issue with the bathroom, as the shower door did not close properly, which was inconvenient during our stay.

Additionally, we assumed that the hotel had private beach access based on the information provided, only to find out later that it did not. This was disappointing and added to our overall frustration with the stay.

Unfortunately, the lack of attention to maintenance, poor communication, and unmet expectations made our experience less enjoyable than we had hoped

The mattress was probably the best hotel mattress I’ve slept on. The blackout blinds were also the best ones I’ve experienced. Breakfast was fine. Other than that it was just ok. The pool was very shallow so we never used it. The hotel’s private beach opened the day we checked out unfortunately so we never got to use it.

Very good breakfast buffet that can be eaten on covered outdoor terrace with beautiful view. Clean property. Several rooms (showers, furniture) and room corridors (unpainted damaged walls) need some maintenance and basic renovation to meet \"4-star\" standards. Definitely take room with Sea-View balcony, which adds significant value to stay. Rooms with view of city (or \"partial view of water) not appealing.

The hotel is very beautiful and perfectly located right in front of the sea on the promenade. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was large and comfortable. However, the air conditioning did not cool properly, so we felt hot every night. The pillows were not very good either.
The hotel terrace is very pleasant, and you can enjoy an incredible view while eating there. The breakfast was excellent, with many options, all very homemade and delicious.
I would definitely return to this hotel in the future and would recommend it to anyone.

First impression of our room was “wow”! A revamp made it very easy on the eye. However! The shower didn’t drain away properly so towels had to be put down on floor to absorb overflow. Reported it three times to no avail. Shower jet by the loo didn’t work. Room had no kettle for complimentary tea/coffee and when we asked for one we had to wait nearly two days to get one that worked! Lovely swimming pool although small. Sadly we couldn’t use it as a wedding party had taken it over and we didn’t get the memo! Anyone with back issues take note the bed’s mattress is rock hard and pillows ditto. Good location with beach across road and all amenities nearby.

We had a sea view room - the view was lovely but the room itself was very dated and a bit dusty, with a coffee cup stained dresser and a shower that didn’t train well due to being clogged with hair. At first our door wasn’t secure - even when locked you could push it open. The maintenance man fixed the lock by pushing back the mechanism with his screwdriver! A temporary fix for sure.

The staff were lovely, very polite and helpful. The pool and terrace area was also very enjoyable, though there was one day we were unable to use the facilities due to a private party, so that meant having to pay more money to go elsewhere which was disappointing, and had this been disclosed at booking I would have booked a different hotel.

It was quite noisy at night due to local elections with speeches going on until 11pm, and the walls and ceilings at the hotel were paper thin - you could hear everything going next to you and above you, which woke my partner up at 5am each morning.

Overall it was a pleasant stay but if I were to return I would request a room in the renovated part of the hotel.

I would recommend this hotel, but there are a few areas where improvement is needed.

The standout feature is definitely the location—it's hard to beat. The views from a beachfront room are stunning, and the rooftop is truly spectacular. The evening cocktails and snacks were a lovely touch and added to the overall experience. The hotel was clean, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our stay.

That said, the rooms are quite outdated, with older furniture that could use refreshing. The walls are also very thin, which made it easy to hear noise from neighboring rooms. While the bathrooms were clean, they are also dated and there was a noticeable sewage smell at times, which detracted from the overall comfort.

With some updates and attention to these issues, this hotel could offer an even better experience.

My wife and I stayed here for 4 days, Saturday April 25th to Wednesday the 29th 2026. This is one of the most wonderful places to stay !! The staff is so kind and helpful. Our room was very clean and the staff cleaned it everyday. The breakfast is to die for, Eggs, Pancakes, all kinds of fresh fruit, pastries, Dinner on the Terrace was also magic. The pool
is nice. Great location. I could not be more pleased with the choice here. Lots of restaurants, delis, and the ferry within just a few minutes.

As soon as we strolled into Hotel Panorama after over two hours of travel from the Naples Airport via train and a bus (that dropped us off essentially right outside of the property that appeared euphoric in its beauty that kissed the waterfront), it was so refreshing to be greeted by the front desk staff who were willing to answer any questions we had (as well as entertain the broken attempts at Italian that I know). They made sure we knew every bit of details that there were to know about the hotel, and even offered suggestions on what to order and where to eat… which was a huge help since vegetarian options were a necessity. And when we would walk past the front desk throughout our way-too-short of a stay, we were constantly checked on and even asked about what we’ve tried so far and what else we could do for entertainment. The room we were in overlooked the water and had everything we needed, from closet space to a safe to ample charging ports to a mini fridge and to bathroom essentials. The ferry to other islands along the Amalfi Coast was a short walk to the port with a plethora of ticket stands to purchase from, and Minori (the adjacent town) was less than a 20-minute walk away. If we had more time to, the Path of Lemons was right behind our hotel, and they even had towels available to use on the beach that was across the street and the pool that they had near their own restaurant on the property. I cannot wait to return to this gorgeous establishment in the future!

We pondered on what town to stay in, and are so pleased that we chose Maiori! It was the most quiet, and easiest to navigate! The port was only a short walk away, where we easily booked ferries to all the major towns on the coast. The hotel was super convenient. Close by to restaurants and grocery stores. Staff were all very friendly and very accommodating to our needs. The rooftop pool was an added bonus for days to just lounge around with a pool! We stayed 5 nights, and are soooo glad we chose Hotel Panorama for our base. Everything was very clean, too! Again, the best part was it was the least crowded of all the coastal towns. We could barely walk around Positano, Amalfi, and Capri without bumping elbows. Not in Maiori! It was perfect!!!

This hotel was great! The staff were really friendly courteous and were patient with any questions.

Its great for going to the beach! You can reserve a chair at the desk, and get towels.

Location is so easy to ferrys and the bus and minori a short walk on the road.

Breakfast has a million options and has a view. Appertivo at sunset with sea view was awesome.

Honestly I was not sure how there are one star reviews. But then I saw “Karens” from our home country being awful at the front desk and it made sense. I guess they go on vacation and write reviews too.

Front desk staff not friendly just treat you like an annoyance, no smile, no name usage, just another number, not a guest…next! Did not feel welcomed at all when we arrived for check in after a long day of travel. Room was dated and worn, looked like it hadn’t been updated since the 80”s. Cheap paper disposable cups no coffee maker in room, just cheap kettle and some tea bags, no chinaware, think Days Inn, Motel 6. Not 4 star, is a 3 star hospitality and room. You have to pay extra for the set up at the beach, 30 euros a day. If you lose your beach towel or the beach card they give you they charge you another 20 euros per.

Food and Beverage staff were great and seemed to care about you. Food was decent at dinner and breakfast. Restaurant is on 5th floor and has a beautiful view. Housekeeping staff were also kind and friendly.
You are paying for location and view.

When we checked out at front desk no goodbye or any sense of hospitality, no safe travels, just don’t let the door hit you on the way out attitude.

Hotel in general looks tired and dated. We did not use the pool on 5th floor, is small but looked nice. Location of hotel in Maiori is convenient for ferry, restaurants.

You are paying for 4 star hotel but you are getting 3 star standard.

I would not recommend this hotel or would I stay there again.

My sisters and I just finished out 5 night stay at Hotel Panorama for a sisters trip. I cannot stop telling friends and family about our trip to Italy and the hotel.
We got private transportation to pick us up from Naples airport to the hotel the gentleman was respectful and helped us load our bags. Same gentlemen helped with hotel to airport at the end of the stay. Email the hotel 24 hours before your visit to confirm transportation needs and price. Front desk staff spoke English well and helped throughout our stay with things to do, making sure we are well taken care of etc. Hotel breakfast was great with a beautiful view. They also have a restaurant that has great food for dinner. Lobby has a huge seating area if needed, and there is a pool as well. Housekeeping were also extremely friendly like the front desk staff. There is a working safe in the room which we used. Bathroom was spacious. The area in general is extremely safe.
If I come back to this city I will definitely be staying at this hotel again.

A promising hotel let down by several poor aspects

There was plenty of things to like about this hotel, but also several very disappointing aspects, that overall led to a fairly poor stay which I feel falls short of a four star hotel.
Firstly, the level of service was very mixed. Some of the staff here were so friendly and willing to help, but others were quite abrupt and were not always very helpful. In addition, staying at this hotel I would have expected car parking to be offered, at the very least at a discounted rate, however it was charged at a very extortionate 25 Eur per day.
Our room was very old, had a creaky bed and did not meet expectations, and we requested to move. Despite this being accommodated it was done so at an additional charge which I also felt was very poor, and didn't do much to make you feel like a valued customer. On the plus side the views from the room and the roof top restaurant were stunning.

We really enjoyed Hotel Panorama and would absolutely stay here again. It's the perfect location as you can walk to most things (the port for the ferry, shopping, restaurants.) The roof top breakfast had a good variety and- to our surprise- one of the better dinners we had. And the view! The rooms were clean, well maintained, and had great AC. The front desk staff was really helpful, especially over email as we planned our stay and had questions. We rented chairs and umbrellas through the front desk prior to our stay and added a day when we arrived. It was an easy process and the beach club is directly across the street. (We didn't experience any crowd during the week but it was pretty packed on the weekends when other people came to town.) The beach club has a small selection of food and drinks- nothing extravagant- but good enough to enjoy yourself. We were at the hotel for almost a week with 2 rooms for our family of 4 and had no complaints- teenagers included!

Excellent breakfast, room, view and staff -particularly the cleaning staff which was extremely helpful in retrieving a personal item left in our initial room upon check-in when we had to move to a second room and did not realize what was missing till much later in the day.

This hotel could not be faulted for the service, location and the breakfast was fabulous.
So easy to catch the ferry and walk to minori and other villages.
Loves the views from the room and rooftop.
The rooms were ok and bed comfortable just needs an update and there was some noise from rooms above and beside us

Great location. Nearby restaurants all around. Food markets right next door (not just 1 option but several). ATM nearby. Ferry across the street. Safe area. Balcony beach view is nice but just avoid 4th floor. It gets noisy around breakfast time (6:55 am). I preferred the room that has a kitchen (Angelique). You can buy food and cook it yourself. But overall,great city and hotel to stay when in almafi coast. No hills!!!! Blvd is huge to walk.

It’s perfect location for visiting the Amalfi Coast! Close to Amalfi and Positano, but not in the middle of them, so it’s quiet and much cheaper! You could pay double or triple for a beach front hotel there!
