Our room was in a corner with a view of the back of a church and a garbage pick up. The ac sounded like a B-52 bomber taking off, the tub didn't drain properly and when I called twice for assistance no one answered the phone. We loved the neighborhood but with the building under renovations we could not access the rooftop terrace or the gym. All in all I would be remiss to give this stay more than just ok.

I am glad they are making upgrades, but I paid for a stay with the understanding I would have access to a laundry room, gym, and loft dining. All were closed and there was no indication on their site or through expedia that those amenities were not available.
Also, the $19 over night parking is a joke. Its a gated area across the streer. They don't always open it for you. We got to the point that my husband or I would stand at the desk and wait for the other to go to the car, just to make sure the attendant at the desk would open the gate for entering AND exiting.
Hot water is limited. Good locationn for walking to places and short drive to Old San Juan.

Amenities. The bar or roof top wasn’t open. They were doing construction on the roof. I stayed on the 7th floor and all I heard was banging, cranes being moved around and just so much noise. I didn’t get a reason as to why the bar was closed. Being a solo female travel, that didn’t help at all. I was there to celebrate my 40th birthday and couldn’t even get as tipsy as I wanted to. It would’ve been more easier and convenient to be able to drink at the bar at my hotel. That way if I did get drunk I can go to my room easily and not worry about going to a bar outside the hotel. My room I give it a 3. Staff a 3. Just wasn’t the best experience overall.

This hotel was average. The picture definitely gives it more justice than in person. I looked out my window straight across to another very close building where others resided so I kept my curtains closed. The hotel’s hot water got cool/cold within 2 minutes of stepping in the shower. The room was average. The area was a great area. Walking distance to lots of things and safe. I think that is why the rating is so high. I was surprised by the rating after arriving. The bed is ok! The hotel bar was closed because they don’t have an employee to work it; however, there are several within walking distance. The staff was polite and friendly! There are two-24 hour restaurant’s across the street. One is a pizza spot and the other is other types of food, but it was good. Hope this helped.

The building is very old, the bath tubs are clogged, when you shower before you finish the tab is full of water as the drainage system is almost like not workin. Won’t recommend it for those who loves nice bathrooms.

Nice boutique hotel, very clean, cordial staff, good location in Miramar. Great breakfast spot across the street. They should put an iron and ironing board in every room so guests don’t have to wait while they find one. Otherwise, a great value for the money to stay in San Juan

Room- we requested for bathtub to be fixed several times, it was never fixed.
I wanted to request for a special surprise for my wife and I anniversary, however I was told they did not do that by a male representative, however, when we got there the female staffer said they could have done it for us.
Other than this, most of the staff was great, specially Laura, went above and beyond for us and we were thankful for her and her hospitality.

This hotel was absolutely unacceptable and should not be operating in its current condition. The entire place looked run-down and poorly maintained. I requested clean sheets and was never given any. The bathtub was filthy and completely clogged, making it impossible to shower. The water pressure was a joke.

When I reported the issue, instead of sending maintenance, the front desk handed us a dirty plunger and told us to fix it ourselves because there was no maintenance staff on site. That is beyond unprofessional and unsanitary.

We were told they couldn’t move us because the floors below had no access to water, which just proves how severe the problems were. On top of that, none of the amenities that were advertised were actually available. This is false advertising.

This stay was not only uncomfortable, it was unhygienic, misleading, and a complete waste of money. I feel scammed. I am demanding a full refund and would strongly advise anyone reading this to stay far away from this hotel.

The parking was across the street and you kept getting trapped in the parking lot because the person at the front desk has to use a clicker to let you in and out of the parking lot and they’re not always at the desk to let you in or out. Then the first room, the shower was broken. The second room had no hot water and a dirty comforter. And the blade was hard as rocks, and we had a view of the parking lot. Don’t go here

Limited parking at the hotel & free parking lot was around the corner & unlighted.
The female staff were friendly & outgoing, greeting us. The male staff didn't say a word unless i spoke directly to him.
It was great having a refrigerator & microwave in the room.
Missed having a pool on site & the rooftop had no table or chairs for watching the ocean or the stars.
Access to the beach was more than 15 minute walk & involved walking across several busy highways.

The room was spacious and very clean. I refused cleaning services and opted for clean towels which were readily given. The room was relatively quiet with just a bit of street noise in the morning.Parking was $19 a day and the gate was opened /closed upon request.Right across the street was a great café with killer coffee and hearty, delicious food. Great staff! In addition, a local supermarket was 1/2 block away- very convenient. Getting in/out of area in a rental was a bit of a challenge- some streets are unmarked! Overall, we had a good experience at Miramar!

Staff was poorly, elevator was not working in the morning I have to take my luggage from the stairs and the worst part of this hotel it’s the parking it’s $20 per night and you have to depend on them to open and reopen the gate to get out of the parking, if they busy you’ll get stuck in the parking until you call to the front desk for you to get out! It was a disaster, on top of that the bathroom was cool and very spacious but the Tina was clogged other than the room was very clean the didn’t give me a ocean view as I paid for but it’s cool it was only one night!! Never again this hotel

We had a wonderful one night stay pre cruise. Arrived via Uber and checkin was quick and easy - the 2 staff were very friendly. We walked to the grocery a block asay to get a few things then found a wonderful restaurants around the corner. Lots of restaurants very close. The only issue we had was trying to get luggage down the next am as there were a lot of cruisers but after 3 rounds of elevators we were down, checked out and on our way. Less than 10 min ride to cruise port.

The room we were given was extremely disappointing, with a strong musty, urine-like smell—my kids described it as a dark, smelly box. Several things were broken, including charging points, the towel holder, and the shower handle, and the bathroom looked dirty and worn.
Although the staff were polite, they said they couldn’t help as the hotel was sold out and only offered a refund. I requested a callback from the manager, but no one ever contacted us during the three nights we stayed. Since it was Christmas/New Year and most hotels were full, we were stuck staying there.
Housekeeping was also very poor. The room was not cleaned every day—at nights we returned to find the beds not made and the bathroom still covered in sand from the previous day’s beach trip. This lack of basic housekeeping added to an already disappointing experience.
Overall, a very disappointing experience.

The staff was outstanding. Very professional and friendly. I stayed in the room 203 and the safety box was broken. The air conditioner was broken turning on and off constantly. I did call the staff to come and check the above problems which they did but told me they can not fix neither at this time. Also there was a growing mildew visible to the naked eye in the top wall of the air conditioning. This room should not be occupied in this miserable condition.

The staff was very courteous and friendly. When I arrived early after a redeye they would not let me check in which was disappointing but there was a great Mexican restaurant right across the street. Their website says they have a restaurant and a bar but both were closed with no time frame to open. Also the \"terrace\" on the website did not have any chairs to sit on. I booked this hotel because of the amenities. They definitely falsely advertised it. This needs to be updated. The hotel is older but in a good area. Staff were cery nice

Spacious clean room on the edge of a popular tourist area near the airport. We were only there in the dark, but the rooftop deck looks excellent and there's a good view at night. There's hotel parking across the street, and a free parking lot less than a block away. If you're driving in, note that the hotel is on a narrow driveway just above the main road, and if you miss it, you'll have to do some driving around to get back to it. There's a small gym. and though there's no bar or restaurant, there are plenty down the street. I mentoned this is on the corner of a popular area, there are some derelict buildings at the corner, and a historic church (now abandoned) next door, but there were lots of tourists walking into the much busier other direction.

The room and the overall hotel felt pretty neglected. Shower with not enough flow, the water didn't drain creating a disgusting pool. The rooftop was completely plain, just a roof, not as pictured in the offer, you needed to go downstairs to pickup your own towels.
