No, the rooms do NOT have kitchens.

DOES NOT HAVE KITCHENS IN THE ROOMS. Despite being advertised as having a kitchen, it does not have them. We took our food to cook and had to feed it to our dog. Despite this and now having to pay for the very poor breakfast, complete with video surveillance, they still tried to overcharge us for the breakfasts. Breakfast is charged for certain ages. Our son is only three and they invented a new class of breakfast age group for our son on the final bill. It was hard to argue our point as the lady spoke very little German or English.

Almost none of the staff speak English or German. They appear to be speaking only Russian. This makes sense as most of the guests are Russian. The breakfast buffet was poor quality, and most of the time there was no bacon. The coffee machine was also empty most of the time as it was a home machine not a hotel machine. It could not keep up with the amount of people and neither could the staff.

The rooms are ok but the bathrooms appear to have been fitted by the kitchen staff with mastic and grout everywhere. The showers are very though. The beds are comfortable and the wardrobe space is good. The balcony has some grubby green felt on it and only some rooms get a table on their balcony. We didn’t. The picture of flowers flowing down the house is also wrong. A few dead stems sit in the flower boxes.

Overall, very poor. Avoid.

Comfortable Hotel with restaurant

Wonderful stay. The room very comfortable with sitting area off to the side. Quiet at night. Staff very helpful. Evening meal was delicious with elegant presentation and resonably priced. Breakfast buffet was extensive. Coffee was good! Wifi available.

Nice hotel that was extremely clean!

We found it quite easily with GPS. It was about 8:30 and the kitchen stayed open so we could have dinner. The young waiter was very helpful. The meal was great with local specialies. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were very clean. The breakfast was also tasty. We found a little church across from the hotel very nice.

Nice for a Weekend Get Away

Good location with beautiful views. Comfortable and affordable rooms. We would consider staying again. The negatives: we could hear noises (children, dog barking) from the room above us. Our friends who accompanied us on the trip overheard an employee state that food purchased outside of the hotel was not permitted. I'm not sure why, especially since they offer an apartment with a kitchen.

Great hotel. The room was very clean. A tad small but not too small. Clean bathroom with great shower. Breakfast each day was fantastic. Plenty of variety. We also had dinner at the hotel every night we were there. It was very good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend.

Overall it was a good stay. We appreciated the wifi service, sauna and pool.
The food is not great, but average. The staff is doing its best - they seem to work all day long - we saw the same staff early in the morning and very late in the evening.

We were disappointed to see that there were no Coffee/ Tea making facilities in the room and not even a small fridge.

We found the hotel ordinary. Last time we were here 3 years before, we felt the passion of the owners in the welcoming and hotel's services.
This time there was nothing special about this hotel - no particularity to make it stand out and to make us come back again. They could try to improve the restaurant service: shorten the menu (there are too many items) and cook the food instead of using refrigerated food and the microwave. They should offer a homemade local dessert (like the Black Forest cake) and not so many ice cream based items. Sometimes it is better to keep it simple.
We came here in search of authenticity, but we only found the ordinary...

Affordable hotel with 3 stars, but disappointing!!

We stayed here on my way to Stuttgart, and the reason was affordable price and it's 3 stars. Our room was smelling like mold, the floor was wet and the mattresses were wet. The guests from a Chinese tour started making a lot of noise around 6:15 AM until they left at 8:30 AM.

In a small village and very refreshing after city travel. Staff was beyond fantastic. Building is old but charming in a grandmas house kind of way. Lots if trails around to explore. Totally recommend.

Hotel has a great breakfast, fresh selection. We had a car which made it accessible. The Hotels.com description states that there is self service laundry, which is not true, but hotel accommodated us with very prompt laundry service for a fee. Friendly staff.

Charming country hotel

I was in town for the music festival and this was a great last minute option since hotels get booked so far in advance. It's a 10 minute can ride into town and beautifully located in the countryside. Comfortable and charming if a bit basic. Good breakfast too. I'd definitely stay again.

Lovely stay in the mountains but expensive

The hotel is nice, up a really windy road which we didn't expect so nearly didn't find it. Hotel reception were lovely and helpful but hotel did look a tiny bit tired and the room had a slightly odd smell. Dinner was lovely but only 3 choices and very much home cooked style. Overall really enjoyable stay in the mountains but seemed very expensive for what we got compared to staying in Davos the next night which was really new, modern and luxurious for the same price.

Very nice hotel in the black forest

Great hotel with indoor swimming pool. Excellent breakfast. Only negative is there is not A/C in the room and we happened to be there in middle of summer which is warmer. You can open the windows to let cool air in, however, numerous bugs came in. Also, you won't sleep late in the morning here. A church next door rings the church bells at 7 AM. The song and bells are nice but last 10 minutes. So, you will get up at 7AM!

Inexpensive, clean, good free breakfast, wifi, and ample parking; pretty much all the things I ask for a hotel. Dinner was also good at a reasonable price. A big grocery shop available at a nearby town about 5 min drive away.

Seit ca 40 J Gast, diesmal der absolute Absturz:Abends nur noch Menu ohne Wahlmglkt,keine Einzelgerichte, Resto-Pers Abends bemüht, im Gegensatz zum Frühstück:Vollkatastrophe, zu wenige Sitzplätze,Punkt 9.30 wird ohne Vorwarnung ein komplettes Buffet abgeräumt, unflexibles muffiges Personal, der absolute Gipfel: 9.40 Beginn mit Staubsaugen zwischen den noch besetzten Tischen...(\"die Frühstückszeit endet um 9.30\" O-Ton), das ist wirklich der Gipfel der Ungastlichkeit, damit erklärt sich auch die inzwi offensichtlich- deutliche Minderauslastung und der rapide gesunkene Logis-preis!!!
Keinesfalls nochmal hier!!! Das ist noch weit unter Jugendherbergsstandard

Wir waren 2 Nächte im Hotel. Das Zimmer und Bad waren sauber, die Betten bequem. Wir haben die Gastronomie nicht in Anspruch genommen. Preis-Leistung ist ok. Ansonsten ist alles ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen.

Das Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen, besonders die Zimmer. Aber es war sauber. Möbel und Teppiche sind sehr alt. Im Zimmer wurde schon sehr sehr lange nicht mehr renoviert. Das Personal im Restaurant und an der Rezeption war freundlich. Aber man wurde uns leider im HP abgesagt, obwohl wir es gebucht, bezahlt und von Expedia auch bestätigt bekommen haben. Abzocke. Wir wollten darüber nicht streiten, um unseren Urlaub nicht zu versauen. Aber nochmal kommen wir sicher nicht.

Ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis! Ein kleines, gemütliches Zimmer mit allen notwendigen Sachen und ein bequemes Bett. Allerdings müssten die Teppiche überall raus!
Die dazu gebuchte Halbpension ist ihr Geld absolut wert: täglich drei Hauptgerichte zum Abendessen, Fleischgericht, Fischgericht und etwas für Vegetarier. Freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal! Im Service müssten jedoch die Deutschkenntnisse noch erweitert werden! Wir können dieses Hotel mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen und werden es bei einem nächsten Besuch in Donaueschingen sicher wieder buchen.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang, man bot mir gleich ein kostenloses update von EZ auf DZ an ....Freude.. im Zimmer angekommen frage ich mich ... wenn das die DZ sind wie winzig sind dann erst die Einzelzimmer, Bett Stuhl Schrank, Zimmer voll .... das Bad (für 2 Personen ! so winzig das selbst der Plattenheizkörper in der Dusche installiert war

Ich hatte trotz Geschäftsreise das Hotel in der Abgeschiedenheit gewählt ... die Ruhe die ich zum Schlafen gesucht habe fand ich, leider keinen Schlaf. Bett und Matratze (keine 10 cm) waren derart minderwertig das an Schlaf nicht zu denken war ... für mich ein No go. Ich bin jede Woche mehrere Nächte in einem Hotel untergebracht, aber ich kann mich nicht dran erinnern je ein Bett von derart schlechter Qualität gehabt zu haben. Fazit ... zum Glück nur eine Nacht auf der Durchreise ... niemals für Urlaub geeignet
Leider musste ich auch das Frühstück bezahlen, obwohl ich dieses nicht verzehrt hatte.

Rauhallinen hotelli, jossa on kohtuullisen paljon palveluita (mm. ravintola, uima-allas ja maksullinen sauna). Yleisilme on vanhanaikainen ja kulunut, kuin 80-luvulta. Aamiainen oli ihan OK, varsin runsas. Tyynyt olivat epämukavat. Lähietäisyydellä on vain vähän palveluita.

My expectations were met

Hotel is a bit old but clean and everything I would need was provided. The staff were friendly and the breakfast buffet as excellent and better than at most 4 Star hotels. The scenery was wonderful and I left with the option that I would stay again in the future if I were in the area.

Bon rapport qualité prix

L'hôtel est très bien équipé et les chambres sont agréables. Sans compter que le petit déjeuner est de bonne qualité.
Il manque juste des rideaux plus épais aux fenêtres.
Et mieux vaut ne pas être du côté de l'église car les cloches sonnent toute la nuit.
