Been staying here for five years, but this is our last visit. No staff on site, no staff available by phone. Everything handled by text. Replies are slow or non existent. Room code not sent until we made repeat requests. A/C not working. No sheets on bed. What was a charming place is now soulless.

Do not bother booking on hotels.com because the perks that you are promised are not delivered. And this is not the first time this has happened at this property. Also, no one is working the front desk ever so you can’t do anything in person. Everything is over text. Also the WiFi was down the entire time. And don’t expect to check in even one second before 4pm. They don’t send you the door code until 4 at the earliest. And even then I had to wait til after 4 to get my code and into my room and even then the code they sent me wasn’t correct. It really is a nice little property but don’t go into your stay with high expectations

We appreciated the property’s convenient location — it’s an easy walk to town, which made getting around simple and enjoyable. Directly across the street is a playground that our three-year-old absolutely loved, as well as a fun cat café and arcade that our whole family enjoyed. We were also able to walk to a local brewery/restaurant for dinner, and it was only a short drive to Mountain High Resort, which was very convenient.

Check-in, however, was a bit challenging. The 4:00 PM check-in time felt somewhat late, and when we arrived, there was no one in the registration office. We received a text with a code to access our room, but unfortunately it did not work and eventually locked us out, which was frustrating.

The room itself was small but cozy. We appreciated having a mini fridge and refreshments available for purchase. That said, the walls seemed quite thin. We appeared to be next to a family-friendly room, and while no one was being overly loud, we could hear conversations, children, and dogs around 10:00 PM. The room also faces the outdoor gathering space, so noise carries easily. The next morning, we began hearing dogs whimpering around 6:00 AM.

Overall, our stay was fine and the location is a strong plus, but due to the check-in experience and noise level, we would likely choose a different property for our next visit.

Very basic accommodations. Coffee maker in the room didn't work, heater in the bathroom didn't work, pin code to open the door was intermittent (even the employee had difficulty opening the door, other guests had the same issue with their doors). No ice on property. Otherwise, very quiet and located near restaurants and stores.

Our room was okay and the grounds were nice. My issue is that our toilet would not flush and our shower would not drain. We exhausted every resource imaginable to get in touch with staff or find tools to try and take care of it ourselves. No one seems to work at the property or answer the phone/texts until after 11am. We had to check out earlier to go find facilities to use. We had one response to our texts that day stating they were tracking out to management to find a solution and THEN….crickets. Let our family take one for the entire team of humanity here! Avoid these cabins!!!!

There was cobwebs on the ceiling. Bathroom had no toiletries. Heater did not work at all. Hot water wasn’t working properly didn’t work in the bathroom sink and shower took for ever to get warm. They also advertised a game room with multiple games and it is more like a game in the living room area was nothing as shown on the pictures false advertising at its best the restroom floor was stained and corners dirty walls were a bit dirty as well ultimately the scenery outside is beautiful but the cabin itself doesn’t give you that cabin stay feel very disappointing from what I thought it would be from what the pictures show I might as well of stood at a best western

Our 2 Queen cabin was perfect for our family of 3. Loved the decor. Shower stall was a bit tight even for our 8 year old but not a huge problem. The only downside was the walls are a bit thin and we could hear our neighbors in the morning (and they seemed to be chatting at a reasonable level). Even with that, I'd stay again!

We had to travel to Phelan for work, coworkers recommended staying in Wrightwood. So glad we picked Grand Pine. Cute and cozy. Super easy to check in and out, walking distance to a good number of restaurants and a grocery store. We WILL be staying here again when we need to travel for work.

I would give this place zero stars if I could. They knowingly rented us a room with broken a/c in the middle of summer. It was 90 degrees when we got into the room after 6 pm. There was a notice on the a/c unit that it was “temporarily broken.” The dubious sign on the opposite wall warned us not to open windows. It cooled down to 87 degrees by 9 pm. The front desk said that all the other rooms were rented out but we could open the windows. The problem is that we had to keep the windows and heavy curtains open all night to cool the room off, so people could walk by and look into the windows. When we closed the curtains, the temp rose back up to the ‘80’s. All in all, a terrible experience. I would definitely think twice about booking a room here.

We had a very nice stay and it’s a beautiful property but there were a few small things I didn’t like. One was I tried calling with a few question. They didn’t answer, I left a message but never got a call back. Then I saw they are available through text so I tried that and they never responded to my message. I also was not happy with the shower it was dirty and the shower head had water scum and just seemed old. But overall we did have a very comfortable stay, and would come back.

We have stayed here before in the cabins. Want to say that it’s a good place to stay but honestly it’s run down and could use some TLC. Check in was a breeze, receptionist was nice and very friendly. The cabin was clean. However if I could make any suggestions for the cabins to really work , they need some upgrades and that’s all I have to say about that.

The place was so cute and charming and the town is amazing! But grand pine doesn’t have emergency support overnight- their staff leaves at 8pm and comes back at 10am (at least when we were there) so if you have a faulty fire alarm during the night with a dying battery, you either have to listen to it chirp all night or have no fire alarm (in violation of California fire code). They refused a discount or refund- even if the $35 they charged to check in 30 minutes early or $3 for water. Wouldn’t stay again just because if something happens overnight I want to know there’s someone that can help me. I know what happened to us wasn’t common at all but the way they handled it was awful and I feel that when everything goes right, it’s easy to provide good service but when something goes wrong that’s when you have a chance to show who you are as a company and they sure showed me.

The outside area is very unsafe, I arrived at 11:00PM. There were no clear walkways and hardly any lighting. Stone stairs that were closer to my cabin weren’t seen until the next day. The cabins were in dyer need of updating. I understand cabins are supposed to be rustic but, for the price I paid, I was very unhappy.

It's nice and conveniently located in downtown Wrightwood, walking distance to everything. The room itself was nice, big and spacious. However check-in Is a huge hassle? They make it very inconvenient and difficult. And my other complaint is that we kept losing power all night long, every five minutes our power would shut off! Not sure if it's because it was cold and everyone was running their heaters or what happened, but it was pretty annoying. Making things more difficult, there's no one on site to contact or ask questions to.

Great beautiful property! Loved it. The only drawback was the missed opportunities as a VIP GOLD MEMBER. They provided a SPLIT BOTTLE OF WINE (1 glass of wine) rather than a bottle (4 glasses of wine). My partner and I were looking forward to a glass each. I inquired when I checked in, but got no response. No upgrade offered when there was plenty of other bigger cabins.

My family wanted to come to Wrightwood and stay at Grand Pine for a snowy weekend of winter fun. A few days before we were to arrive it rained and all the snow was ruined. Grand Pine would not help us get a refund or offer us any credit towards our stay. Their customer service was not helpful at all. We lost almost $500 and in the end they refused to even answer my calls.

Grand Pines Cabins were just as cute as the pictures showed. The room wasn’t the biggest, but enough room to relax in the king bed and watch a show with the complimentary Disney/Hulu. We had some leftovers from the Mexican place next door and were able to enjoy them the next day thanks to the mini fridge and microwave. There’s also lots of options for food/drinks and places to play for kids walking distance from the cabins.

Check in and checkout went smooth. And overall we enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

No one at front desk til \"check in\" at 4pm. Door was looked and unwelcoming. No bathroom available in lobby. No early check-in or late checkout possible. We came early (about 2hrs) and needed the restroom. No one at front desk until 4pm. Had to ask the housekeeper for help. And found a \"portapotty\" to use. Our room was very clean though thanks to the Housekeeper.

We stayed in cabin #3. The air conditioner when it comes on it sounds like a very old car starting its engine. Just a suggestion to look at and hear it for yourself. It is annoying while you are sleeping and we needed it on because of the heat wave.

When I reserved this room I tapped on the 2 Queen Bed room button on the Expedia listing but did not notice that I was taken to a page for a 1 King Bed room. When we got to the property and discovered the error they would not change our room without an email that showed a 2 Queen Bed room. The confirmation emails from both Expedia and the property made no mention of the nature of the room. We were required to pay a substantial additional amount to get the proper room.

I checked the Expedia listing later in the evening and the 2 Queen button took me to a 1 King room. I notice this morning that the Expedia listing has been corrected but we are out $70. Buyer beware!

The cozy cabin vibe was cool and the Kuereg coffee was great. Also liked the shampoo and conditioner dispensers in n the shower. What was lacking was the handycap facilities. Also irritating was the fact that the tv remote could not turn on the sound at all. As hard as I tried, there was no way to get sound on the tv.

What a perfect place! Super cute. The location is perfect. Cute patio area to hang out and/or eat al fresco. Super nice staff. Definitely hike - Blue Ridge to Inspiration Point(!). Then drive up to see the view also. I can’t wait to go back. Even though the description doesn’t say, the room has a microwave(!).
