Very very small room, uncomfortable for two guests. Loud partying going on right infront of our window for several hours in the night. Breakfast starts too late for travelling guests. Bar area very unclean.

Disgraceful hotel, canceled us, they weren’t busy!

We didn’t even stay, they canceled the booking because not enough rooms were booked and re booked us in a guest house with 8 people sharing a bathroom, absolutely disgraceful behaviour from a hotel group this size, knowing there is no alternative and no where to eat in such a small town.

Hotel was not busy upon our check-in. Was given a room with a wonderful view of the snow machine storage area and parking lot. Enjoyed a nice meal at the restaurant - paid at table with credit card. Upon check-out, we were surprised to ask to pay for someone else's meal who (probably mistakenly) used our room number to pay for meal. Didn't need that hassle or embarrassment. Realizing this is the only hotel for miles, the rate was still pretty high. Live and learn.

Quality lodging in the middle of nowhere

I was visiting Nordkapp (the purported northern tip of Europe) around the time of the summer solstice, intending to follow the sun around the sky for 24 hours. I wanted a motel room to rest up and sleep afterward. That time of year is quite popular; everything nearby was fully booked and even those at a slight remove had high rates. This hotel was the nearest I found that my budget could handle.
The hotel itself is quite nice (though I was too tired to avail myself of all the amenities) and the restaurant has a good reputation. Dinner service is short and reservations are mandatory, so I missed that, but the free breakfast buffet was excellent, with many local dishes to sample.
My room was clean and comfortable, and the free internet connection was good.

Nice hotel, friendly staff; dinner of reindeer stew was pretty grim- thin stock, and generally tasteless. I have had much better out of a can. The breakfast bufffet was not kept well stocked- and many choices ran low.

Potential for a higher standard - not present yet

When you room have dirty towels and the bed not cleaned it's not okay. I was first aware the next day that the bathroom was used due to wet towels. A response to malfunction TV and dirty room and towels was \"its booked through expedia\" - not other other response received ! Nice food in restaurant, but i guees the hotel is challenged by lack of staff, it's sad because kitchen and hotel overall have potential.

Bone in my food, staff ignored

This was one of the worst experiences I’ve had in a while. There was a bone in my food that broke my tooth and the staff simply ignored us once we told them about it even though they promised get back to us. Eventually, we did not even get any true compensation.

Bra rom, god middag og super frokost. Veldig fin og avslappende samisk musikk i restauranten. Moderne tv med mulighet for casting etc. Bra parkering. Litt i dyreste laget, men dette er Finnmark om sommeren, så da må man vel akseptere det. Kommer gjerne igjen.

Zimmer sind wie üblich in Schweden sehr klein, aber wenigstens ganz funktionell eingerichtet. Überrascht hat uns das sehr umfangreiche und gute Frühstücksbuffet. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Eine Espressomaschine steht im Foyer zur kostenlosen Verfügung.

Ble godt mottatt i resepsjonen . Rommet var fint og rent .
Men middagen var en meget stor skuffelse . Reinsdyrfilet med sopp, små poteter og einebær saus. Fileten var mør, men tilbehøret var for å si det mildt varmet opp i mikro og potetene hadde nok lagt i noen dager . \" Sausen\" var en smakløs sjy . Og alt ble servert lunkent ! Og dette betalte vi 485 kr for hver . Ikke noe smil eller service på dem som serverte.
Frokosten derimot var utrolig bra. Rikt utvalg og meget serviceinnstilte servitører !

Koutokeinon ainoa oikea hotelli. Hyvä majoituspaikka, jossa tehty yleisilmeen kohennus huoneissa joitakin vuosia sitten. Aamiainen myös uusittu, mutta huonompaan suuntaan. Huoneissa hyvä varustelu: jääkaappi, vedenkeitin, kahvia ja teetä, laseja ja mukeja. Säädettävä lämmitys. Henkilökuntaa todella niukasti, mutta se on ystävällistä. Pihalla poroja aitauksessa. Sauna ja ulkoamme. Maailman parhaat näkymät ulos joka huoneesta.

Mahtavan monipuolinen ja paikallisia herkkuja tarjonnut aamupala. Erityisplussaa haudutetusta teestä, kauniista astioista ja itse tehdyistä hilloista.
Huone oli siisti. Mukava, että lämmitystä pystyi säätämään erikseen huoneeseen ja kylpyhuoneeseen. Vieraille oli käytössä ilmaiseksi sauna ja niiden yhteydessä olevat ulkoporeammeet
Hotellin ympäristö/piha olisivat kaivanneet vähän laittamista.

Brannalarm!

Ved adkomst var det venting 1 time før innsjekk ble mulig kl 15. Toalettet var ikke vasket og ringen hadde gule flekker, men vi fikk renholdspersonalet til å vaske der. Brannalarmen gikk midt på natten og vi ble evakuert ut pga varmtvannstank lekkasje. Alarmen ble etterhvert koblet ut og alle fikk gå inn og sove, men våres rom var naborom til teknisk rom der lekkasjen var, og der peip alarmen hele natta til utsjekk kl 12, så det ble null søvn på oss.

Dejligt hotel med gode senge og skøn mad. Der var ingen vand de første 2 timer og herefter gik der flere timer inden det varme vand blev varmt. Det ene spabad var virkelig beskidt.

Inga glada positiv energi från personalen, allt verkade tungt

Kjempebra pitstop for slitne bein, med et av de beste treningssenter jeg har sett på hotell. Samt Badstue/2 x Jacuzzi!

Majoituimme hiljaisen sesongin aikana. Rauhallinen ilmapiiri, sisustuksen materiaalien värikkyys ja saamelaisaiheiset kuvat vaikuttavia. Siistit huoneet, mutta ilmastointi olisi tarpeen saada pois päältä tai ainakin säätää sitä. Illallinen ja aamiaisbuffet erinomaisia. Henkilökunta voisi olla osaavampi.

Greit hotell, men dårlig opplevelse i baren!

Bra service ved check in og i bar. Spiste 2 dager i resturanten, og første dag var det kun \"fredagsbiff\" på menyen. Lørdag var det overaskende bare \"lørdagsbiff\". Etter at servitør rådførte med kjøkken, kunne vi velge reinskav eller burger i tillegg. Dette er for dårlig når en tilbringer en helg på hotellet. Ellers var maten god, både i resturang og i buffet. Lokale innslag på buffet var veldig bra. Mindre bra er at familien opplever å bli trakkasert i baren av lokale innbyggere. Disse var svært fulle, så en kan stille spørsmål om dette er innenfor mtp. skjenkebevilling. Hotellet burde hatt vakt i helgene. Bra/greit hotell men opplevelse i baren trekker veldig ned.

Resan till nordkap

Det var ett väldigt fint hotell. Personalen väldigt trevlig. Vinet var dock lite dyrt, 900 nkr lite väl häftigt.
