This is a gorgeous resort hotel that has excellent service, beautiful location. The pool is next level gorgeous next to sea. Good dining. Excellent staff and concierge can book day trips. Just note that beach access is too rocky to swim. There are many stairs all around so hotel is not accessible. Also not much near by. Highly recommend. Very romantic destination. Great honeymoon location. Very happy with our stay. Thank you!

We made a last minute booking for our family at this hotel.
The location was superb as was the quality of the hotel. The rooms felt very spacious and private, there was a great kids pool as well as a huge main pool and even a lovely seaside terrace with access to the ocean. The staff were incredibly attentive and helpful - they would do everything possible to help with our every request
BUT
there were not enough staff - particularly at the breakfast buffet. The staff were so overwhelmed and could not keep up with the demand which meant it could be hard to find a clean table, a plate or even sometimes food.
There was also no children’s menu for dinners and the dinner service was late by UK kids standards. We have fussy eaters which meant this was very difficult for us to navigate. Again the staff were so great - always trying to help us.
Food wise for the adults it was fabulous - we absolutely loved the Japanese restaurant right on the waters edge.
It’s been an incredible holiday and I would highly recommend for families.

The property is awesome but could use a little attention to detail. Upon greeting it would be nice to learn of the properties amenities (I.e. tennis courts with lessons available). Which restaurants are open when, and some visitor conveniences would be nice - snorkel gear, tennis rackets. The toilets by the beach should be checked regularly for cleanliness.

Beautiful resort with plenty to do. We had glorious weather and lived the pool areas and multiple access to the sea. Gym was great and we enjoyed all the dining options.

Overall a bit disappointing. The lounge chair area on the beach, which was something that was a deciding factor for us, wasn't even open. Also, the natural swimming pool area was very dirty with floating trash and trash around that beach area (with the lounge cushions). There was a concert doing sound checks all afternoon which was very disruptive when we came to relax. Also our tv and hair dryer was broken. The wait staff at the pool were unhelpful and not attentive.

- the main pool is great

The resort has an array of facilities – pools, basketball and soccer courts, restaurant and spa. They also have a fair amount of dining options.

The front desk staff were very helpful and kind. Georgia helped me find a local osteopath to treat a recurring back issue, which helped.

I do think the house keeping of the rooms need to pay more attention to details – my room wasn’t swept properly and the bathroom has hair from the previous guest.

Wonderful place! Lots of space, great service, nice pool though I wish the water were warmer. I wish they had a hot tub for cooler days. The reservation restaurant wasn’t as nice as the restaurant by the ocean. The area surrounding the resort was run down, but that’s not their fault. Overall an incredible place to stay.

A really peaceful stay in a very well equipped resort. We stayed in a superior suite which was absolutely excellent and the food on offer was always to a high standard. We had a car so it was easy to visit the neighbouring towns and villages but without a car it would have been impossible. Therefore, if you want to see more than just the hotel you do need a rental. Overall very pleased.

Arrived earlier than check in - told to use the facilities in the meantime and they’d call us when the room was ready. But they didn’t. Then gave us limited information at check in like eg where breakfast was. Waiters genuinely didn’t have a clue - such slow service. Worst meal of my life at Lime Bar. Staff didn’t tidy up after previous guests. The room smelt of very strong cleaning products but not in the positive sense. Corridors leading to our room reminded me of an old people’s home. Nothing about this was 5 star. Very lovely waiter at the sushi restaurant, however. He was the only positive.

A spacious hotel with extensive grounds and facilities.
Being May and off peak it was not full and so had a relaxed vibe. It was easy to get seated in the restaurants and bar. Service good if slow and staff very friendly.
We had a small issue as our booking wasnt transmitted properly from Expedia and so it was unclear to the hotel we had booked half board.
A few suggestions for improvements would be that houskeeing were a bit random about changing towels/emptying bins etc. One day our shower mat disappeared and was not replaced until the next day Our minibar was totally empty until 2 days before we were leaving (not that we used it anyway) and there was no way to spread towels out to dry.
The variety on the buffet for dinner was great but hot food was not really any more than warm. If there was a way to improve this and maybe heat the pkates that would help. The black rice and sushimi we had one night as part of the buffet were particularly good.
Pizza restaurant was good and we also tried the a la carte restaurant which was lovely.
Great parking tip for Catania from the front desk. Thank you.

Hotel in the middle of nowhere, you need a car to go and see stuff. Hardly any entertainment. One bar at night , beer sold in small bottles or half pints. Expensive. Swimming pool amazing. Staff lovely . Room clean hit and miss. Nit good food choice on menus and restaurants booked in advance. No snack bars if you get hungry during the day/ night.

We were terribly disappointed with our stay at Mangia’s. This is a three star villaggio turistico trying to be a five star resort. The place and the location on the water is lovely but the staff does not understand service. If you are looking for five star service you will not find it here. The structure is also not designed to be at all hospitable when it rains.

Tiny rooms. I was charged a much higher price through Expedia than other sites. Hair dryer in room didn’t work. No conditioner. Less sun beds than Unico members. Poor attitude of staff. Very nice and calm place to stay. But unfortunately due to room service we were extremely disappointed. Even a cold drink get delivered two/three hours later.
They don’t leave complementary water, tea bags or cups daily in room( are suppose to except more mild) Italians don’t have milk in tea so they don’t bother to leave any for guest who stay either.
There is only shampoo and shower gel(no conditioner, no body lotion, toothpaste/toothbrush).
The bed mattress is firm and excellent.
It is very peaceful to stay there but unfortunately the room service lets the stay at this property down. When we stayed it was 46c Staff don’t check if guests are ok in this heat.
No bathrobes on towels.

In stanza la manager Claudia Romeo ti lascia il suo biglietto da visita per dirti qualsiasi problema fammi sapere.. la cena super tutto molto gustoso non messo per riempire ma cucinato con cura, si capisce che lo chef ha una predilezione per le melanzane e sa davvero come cucinarle. Lo consiglio..

Petit déjeuner assez bon, mais les jus (chimiques) et les eaux (médiocre qualité, verres sales) sont à revoir. Les tables ne sont pas redressées assez rapidement, ce qui laisse de nombreux clients en attente, et un visuel négligeant de tables sales. Le réapprovisionnement ne se fait pas jusque 10h30 (heure limite du petit déjeuner) et à partir de 10h, de nombreux produits manquent. Il n'y a plus de bols dès 9h30, idem avec les verres. Dommage, car avec quelques ajustements, le compte y serait.

Gli ospiti si spostano quindi a pranzo nei bar per degli snack, quindi se intendi recarti anche tu al bar sappi che i tempi di attesa sono lunghi e non hai la certezza di poter mangiare in quanto finiscono facilmente tutto.

Vi bodde på et veldig fint hotell med god service. Jeg reiste sammen med mine to døtre, og begge fant aktiviteter de likte godt. Den ene deltok på dykkekurs, mens den andre koste seg med bassenget og solsengene ved havet.
Maten var fantastisk, med stor variasjon i restaurantene alt fra sushi og pasta til pizza. Prisnivået var omtrent dobbelt så høyt som i Catania, men kvaliteten på mat var topp, så det føltes verdt pengene.
Hotellet tilbød mange aktiviteter, og vi meldte oss blant annet på et pizzakurs – en 10/10 opplevelse! Claudia, en av lederne der, var utrolig flink med gjestene. Hun fortjener virkelig fem stjerner for sin innsats.
Vi benyttet oss også av spa-avdelingen, som var utrolig behagelig og avslappende. Den eldste datteren min var veldig fornøyd med dykkekurset, selv om det selvfølgelig kostet litt ekstra. Stor takk til Lorenzo, hennes dykkeinstruktør, som kom hele veien fra Siracusa, og lærte henne det viktigste på noen få dager! Alt i alt var oppholdet så bra at vi definitivt kommer tilbake!
Det eneste minuset var betalingssystemet. Vi opplevde flere ukjente trekk fra vår Visa-konto og ble i tillegg dobbelt belastet for city tax. Det var vanskelig å få oversikt over hva vi faktisk hadde brukt, siden vi ikke fikk kvitteringer på alle transaksjonene. Vi anbefaler derfor å følge nøye med på kontoen underveis i oppholdet.
Anbefaling til hotellet å sende kvitteringer på mail for belastning av kortet, da det var ubehagelig å ta dette opp i resepsjonen.

We got a poor room compared with category (deluxe with sea view), it was no sea view, smaller than promised (not 25sqm), and no balcony or seating outside.

Difficilmente si trova personale così cordiale. É una struttura adatta a persone che vogliono rilassarsi durante il loro soggiorno. Non c’è animazione e dopo le 23 già regna un gran silenzio. Ottima la possibilità di scegliere fra i ristoranti presenti dove anche lì troverete personale molto disponibile e accogliente. A fine soggiorno ci hanno concesso una camera d’appoggio prima della partenza. Posto veramente bello

Helaas geen liften aanwezig en grote afstanden tussen onderlinge locaties (zwembad, restaurant, kamers e.d.)
Onze ervaring met het buffettestaurant voor het dinner viel helaas erg tegen. Geen keuze tussen vlees, vis, kip of wat dan ook. Alleen wat onbeduindende schenkels. Als er iets wel lekker was, was dat steeds op en moest dan bijgemaakt worden.
Het ontbijtbuffet daar in tegen was dan wel weer rijkelijk gevuld met alles erop en eraan.
Het personeel was zeer wisselend, sommige erg aardig en sommige erg afstandelijk.

Positief: personeel bij incheckbalie en ontvangst in het algemeen. De kamers zijn echt top, schoon en ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien. Echt wat je van een 5 sterren hotel mag verwachten.
Het ontbijtbuffet is ook werkelijk over de top.

Echter, dan blijkt het diner buffet een grote illusie, in ons geval dan. Veel gerechten waren op en werden niet meer bijgevuld, ondanks dat het buffet nog een uur open was.
Ook het personeel in het buffet restaurant is moeilijk te benaderen en wanneer wij met 6 persoen water bestelden, kregen we een reeds aangebroken fles voorgeschoteld.
Dit werd gelukkig door een collega snel verholpen.
Al met al, zeker geen 5 sterren waardig.
