This was a first time staying here and it was more than we can have expected. The staff is friendly and helpful. We did not make a reservation for dinner and they were able to add us and the steak was one of the best we have had. Coffee the next morning with great stories around a fire pit was really fun. Breakfast was great. I honestly can not say enough about Tombstone Monument Ranch. We did not ride horses this year, but can't wait to go back next year and take full advantage of the trail rides.

This was our second time staying at the Monument Ranch, The staff is pleasant and welcoming. You feel like you are in another time and place, and yet only a short drive from our home in Tucson. The hot tub under the stars was a perfect way to end the day. If your package has the option for breakfast, you should include it. However, we added on the three-course dinner, which was mediocre at best. The entree choices were chicken breast or salmon. Both were under seasoned and over-cooked. We are looking forward to staying at the ranch again.

The concept of the Hotel is very unique, nevertheless facilities in general look old and without maintainance.

Despite you are supposed to be in an old town, that doesnt mean it has to be a neglected place.

As said, we had a good time, we only stayed one night but if we would have stayed longer, it would feel like too much as place its really not taken care of.

It was the most fun staying at this property. It felt like we were in a western movie with all the cute details. Staff was great, bartender was awesome and their margaritas were savagely good and dangerous. Not any margaritas, these were on tap! What in the Rice Krispies is this?!

I was looking for a place to stop and break our journey back home from LA, because I knew my kiddos couldn't do the whole trip at once from celebrating my son's 5th birthday.. this is a couple steps above a hotel! when I saw this listed in my search, and it wasn't priced way out of a hotel league (budget concerns with young kids), I looked at the listing: Amazing. When I got there... even more impressed! Great scenery around, cowboy coffee (& hot chocolate for my kiddos) with Arizona Bill in the morning next to the horses getting ready for a ride that day; the breakfast was impeccable - filled out the card for what I wanted, made fresh and brought to the table. You stay in what looks like an old town (jail, newspaper, saloon.. we got one of the bordello rooms). What a great place to stop at, and it definitely made me want to have it as the destination next time!!

Want something different than a normal hotel? This place was really neat, and we did not ride horses. It was centrally located to different towns we wanted to visit. Very clean room. Amazing breakfast. The on site saloon was great. The employees ans the ranch hands were super nice. We stayed in jail!!

Had no idea what this amazing little hotel was when we pulled up. It looks like its own little tombstone, where each room has its own theme. Super cute, GREAT service in every aspect, cannot wait to go back with more family members and experience everything this ranch offers! Highly recommend this place for everyone!!

We were a little worried at the drive to it because it was down a long dirt road but when we got there, we were amazed and happy to be staying at an old west style town. (Our room was the Marshall's). The meals provided were awesome. Wonderful amenities and activities available and all the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We had so much fun learning how to play Faro. We will definitely stay there again if we have the opportunity and highly recommend it.

I booked through \"Hotels.com\" and stated there would be two adults and two children. When I arrived at Tombstone Monument Guest Ranch I was told that they only had for two adults. You think you are paying final price but children are added on when you get there. There are also add ons that you don't know about until you get there, we missed the dinner. When we left the receptionist was not as nice as the same friendly receptionist when we checked in. She added the charges for the children as though I purposefully did not add them.

We loved this ranch. The breakfast was great. The room and beds are very comfortable. But it is a real ranch with horses and cattle in semi-desert location, so it is rustic, and it gets dusty. We liked the rustic, historic design of the buildings, but dust was a problem for me due to my allergies to dust and mold. Besides this one problem of my own, this ranch was wonderful, horses are well taken care for, and they offer variety of horseback rides. I definitely recommend this ranch!

Celebrated our twins 11th birthday in Tombstone, stayed at the ranch! It was absolutely wonderful! Beautiful, well maintained place! Perfect location! Very close to Tombstone attractions! A unique experience where each room represented a building in the old west. We stayed in the bordello. The saloon was great fun with Cliff showing the guests how to play card games after supper. Definitely a highlight of our holiday and well worth the 30 minute detour. Lots of activities on the ranch and a must to spend a day in Tombstone as well. We spent two nights at the hotel.

There are so many things to love about this place. It is the most unique place my family and I have ever stayed. You can go horseback riding, shooting, perform archery, learn to play cards, and listen to great bands during your stay. The staff are amazing and so is the food! There are always fun times to be had in the saloon for an afternoon drink. I cannot recommend this place more, it is truly amazing and so special.

Tombstone Monument Guest Ranch has wonderful friendly staff who try their best to accommodate guests. The rooms are quaint and the beds are comfy (although, the bathrooms could use a good steam clean) The breakfasts are enormous and tasty. The perfect place to stay if you want a \"ranch\" experience and if you purchase one of their ranch packages that includes meals, lodging and horseback riding.
Here are some issues if you're looking for lodging only: The Ranch is at the end of a 1 1/2 mile unmaintained \"washboard\" dirt road that could take out the undercarriage of your vehicle (motorcycle) if you're not careful.
There is no regular restaurant service or hotel store.
Dinner is one meal at 6 p.m. and is NOT worth the ala-cart price of $30/person. We had an anemic lettuce salad, one 6oz rubbery chicken breast (microwaved?) with a BBQ sauce swoosh under it, one spoon of generic potato salad, one small spoon of equally generic watery baked beans and one cafeteria style square of pumpkin cake with whipped cream (Redi-whip?).
I'm sure that a package deal is well worth it but if you just want lodging, I recommend making your reservations at one of the other Tombstone hotels or B&B's.
