This award-winning lodge is nestled in Madikwe Game Reserve, one of South Africa's largest, just three and a half hours from Johannesburg and Pretoria. Guests can enjoy game viewing on foot or by Land Rover, bird watching, and stargazing.

Botswana's capital, Gaborone, is only 40 km away. The lodge comprises seven chalets and two suites, featuring a private pool, air conditioning, and fireplaces.

Guests can savor traditional Southern African cuisine under the stars or enjoy cocktails by the pool. A playroom with babysitting services is available for younger guests.

Impodimo Game Lodge is set on a rocky ridge overlooking the vistas within the magnificent malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve of the North West Province of South Africa. Madikwe Game Reserve covers an area of 75000 hectares of unique topography and breathtaking beauty bordering Botswana.

It is home to the Big 5, the beautiful Painted Wolf (African Wild Dog), Cheetah, Brown and Spotted Hyena and variety of large mammals and bird life. Carved from the hillside, eight glass fronted luxury chalets and one Deluxe Suite line a natural spring, each enjoying striking views of the African Bush.

Relax as your ranger guides you through the bush on a custom made open Land Rover searching out the secrets of nature.  Please note that our gate times are between 06:00am and 21:00 pm and cannot be opened unless its a medical emergency

The Family Villa offers three en suite bedrooms leading into a private lounge and dining area that flows out onto a private deck and splash pool. The staff offers personalized service in a relaxed yet professional manner, and the twice-daily game drives are conducted by our rangers, whose superb bush knowledge is imparted in a manner best suited to the guests' experience on the open game viewing vehicle.
