There are no irons or ironing boards in the room. Everyone has to share two on the 8th floor. Room cleaning is hit or miss so some days you get water other days not. The hotel appears set up for their convenience not their guests. Not that I use them but they are “re-imagining mini bars”…by have vending machines in the lobby. Hilarious.

Staffs are competent and service was great but the room was dated and could use some modernisation.
Although parking is not run by the hotel, the underground parking connected to the hotel is very expensive at EUR45/night. I was told that there is a free street parking near by and provided with the precise location but didn't use it in the end.

I had a very enjoyable stay at the Maritim Hotel in Frankfurt.
The service was consistently good, with the staff being attentive and professional throughout my visit.
The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of choices with high quality and freshness that made for a great start to each day.
The location is another big advantage; it’s conveniently close to Skyline Plaza shopping center, making it easy to access shops, restaurants.
The hotel is also well-situated for exploring Frankfurt, with good transport links.

I would definitely recommend I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We stayed as a couple - it was perfect for us, but you can tell it was the ideal conference hotel for business people.
Pool area was great, lots of chairs, and a small gym too (we didn’t use the sauna).
Beds were really comfy, great pillows.
Staff all super friendly and helpful. We were able to store our luggage at reception too.

Hotel has a tram stop right outside, and a metro stop a very short walk away.

We didn’t have food or drinks here, but lots of options (and a small fancy bar opens up in the evening as well).

Would stay here again!

The reason for my 1 star review is purely down to customer service or lack of.
My husband with stage 4 cancer has been charged €26 for a glass of water!
I attended the breakfast with my little boy and husband, my husband was unable to eat as he was due chemotherapy at 1pm at Univeristy hospital Frankfurt. Despite me explaining this to staff, they have still charged him €26!! I was told twice management would resolve this but they aren’t interested. Shame on the hotel disgusting

Nice property, very short walk to Festhalle Messe subway station. Only one stop away from Frankfurt Main Hauptbahnhof.

Breakfast is a great option to choose. The Property would have received 5 stars had housekeeping serviced the rooms every day during our multi day trip, in which they did not.

The Hotel does have AC in the rooms that a huge bonus for Europe.

Overall a pleasant stay!

Our room was not ready for check in at 3:00 as was posted. We waited for the time they were finally ready, which wasted at least an hour of a short stay in Frankfurt where we had never been. When we were finally able to get into our room, the maids were still finishing the room and we were told to just leave our luggage in the room unattended and just had to trust it would be ok. It was unfortunate but we witnessed the same thing with other guests.

Most of the staff is nice and helpful, we went at 2pm and they didnt let us check in because our room wasnt ready and check in is at 3pm. We then just dropped off our luggage at the front which the allowed. When we came back one of the other girls gave us an upgraded room. I just thought if they were going to do that anyway, we might've been able to check in at 2pm and at least gotten refreshed etc. before heading back again into town (since we came via bus, this was one trip which wasnt then necessary as we could have just stayed in town and had food first). Otherwise all was fine. The room is a little dated but nice.

Refusing refund

When I arrived at the hotel, I was told that the swimming pool Gym and Sauna were not in use and wouldn’t be for at least a week because of some technical problem. I told him that I didn’t want to stay there anymore because of this and they should give me a refund, They said I had to go through Hotels.com for the refund but they would agree to give it when Hotels.com contacted them.
Since then, I have spoken and emailed Hotels.com who have, in turn, tried many times to get Martin Hotel to agree to the refund and they have refused !!
I’ve stayed in this hotel many times before and I cannot believe the appalling attitude that they are giving in not granting a refund as it was their fault that I had to change Hotel. I will never stay this hotel ever again:-((

Busy but warm, welcoming hotel. Large, comfortable room with plenty of seating and storage. Not the most modern but I liked that because it was cosy. Expensive but good burgers for bar meal. Plentiful breakfast with a few omissions. Would recommend hotel, handy for the city, station and shopping. It also was easy enough to walk to local restaurants.

Disabled access room with good wet room. Beds were comfortable and there was a great selection at breakfast. The breakfast room did get rather crowded and staff seemed a bit overwhelmed at times. Very handy location for trade fair, botanical garden and Senkenberg museum and near to public transport.

The Maritim Hotel in Frankfurt is an excellent hotel in a perfect location. Steps from the underground and a half decent shopping mall. You can in historic downtown in only 3 subway stops.

It has onsite parking for only €25.00/day.

The rooms are well appointed and very comfortable and quiet.

The staff are excellent and took care of our every need.

Travelled as a family. Was not sure what to expect, but was pleasantly suprised. All you could need in the hotel, swimming pool, sauna, breakfast, lunch and dinner - Menu a little limited for evening lunch/dinner, breakfast was amazing, lots of choice and reasonable time frame to eat, i think it was 6.30-10.30am. Staff were friendly, multi-lingual & helpful due to cancelled fliht. Our room was big, clean and welcoming. Room service is availble should you need and yes, towels are supplied!

Coming to a trade show location is perfect walking distance to the Mese convention Center we rented few rooms, parking extremely expensive
Breakfast expensive but our team like it, internet disaster, you think Frankfurt will not have issues with internet but both hotels we stay was the same issues

Had an issue with noise from the air con in my room. A member of the facilities team had a look, decided it couldn't be fixed, so I was given an upgraded room which was a very nice touch. Breakfast is pretty decent with lots of options. I was there for the marahn and the location is superb for that. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Rooms a little tired but comfy mattress (pillows a little soft for me). Would stay again if in Frankfurt.

Stayed with my 11 year old daughter at the beginning and end of our trip to Germany. The breakfast buffet was so amazing and the staff and rooms were great. Pool was also quite nice and we often had it to ourselves, or with only 3 or 4 other people. The area is very walk-able and the Senckenberg Natural History museum was awesome and only a short walk away. The Frankfurt Hbh is a short S-Bahn trip away and the stations are only a few hundred metres from the front door. Originally booked a hotel close to the airport for our return flight but cancelled in in favour of this hotel and took an Uber (cost around 27 Euros) to the airport. I will definitely stay with the Maritim franchise again, we really enjoyed our stays.

The service was very average for the price we paid. We paid for a family suite and we didn’t receive a toothbrush for the third family member. We requested an extra bed sheet and got a bed covering. Overall not bad but expect more for the price we paid.
