The room had a beautiful view but lacked a table or desk. It was two steps up to the bathroom sink. Two chocolate chip cookies was a nice touch. \"Destination fee\" of $35 I found hard to swallow. \"Complimentary\" bottle of wine is what I suspect the $35 was for.

This was a lovely hotel with a really nice room. It's 2 a minute drive from the main Visitors Center for the Pt. Reyes National Seashore and a few minute drive from the cute little town of Pt. Reyes Station. The room was quiet and comfortable with a nice bed and jacuzzi tub. The shower curtain did have a bit of a musty smell which was the only real downside to the room. The back of the property was a huge grassy area with a lot of seating and firepits and a lovely view of the river and mountains beyond. The free s'mores every night to make over the fire pit was another super cool touch. Staff was friendly and parking was easy. The Due West restaurant and market that are attached / next door were also both great for dinner & breakfast, respectively.

The staff was very nice. The first room had lots of ants due to the rain, but they relocated us to a different room. The rooms are lovely. The front of the hotel faces a main road (although a quiet area for the most part), kind of motel-style, but the back faces a creek. We were told there was breakfast, but it turned out they just offer yogurt and instant oatmeal.

This is a nice, semi high-end hotel with clean rooms and a nice staff. However, there are a lot of stairs and steps throughout the hotel, including a couple of steps inside our room (#21). For those with mobility issues, this motel is probably not a good choice.

It's such a beautiful place to unplug and reset. We only stayed one night and I wish we could have spent two days there simply because I didn't realize how much I wanted a place to just do nothing. We will be back.

I want to note the thoughtfulness of the ADA room. There are some limitations to the exterior property, such as the entry door not being able to accommodate wider mobility devices, and common areas were not very accessible at all. However, the interior had fairly wide pathways with easily movable furniture. Bathroom had an even threshold into the shower, which was large with multiple grab bars and fold down shower chair. Sink accommodates wheelchair users. Placement of ADA room was right next to the ramp from a singular handicap parking space large enough to easily fit a van with an wheelchair or scooter attachment.

We recently stayed in the space above the tavern, which is part of Olema House, and overall, we had a nice experience.

Check-in was smooth and seamless, and the receptionist was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Our room met—and honestly exceeded—our expectations in terms of comfort and design.

That said, there were a few areas that could use improvement. Leading up to our stay, I tried to contact the hotel multiple times over the span of a couple weeks with no luck. It wasn’t until one or two days before our check-in that I was finally able to get someone on the phone. That delay was frustrating and made it hard to plan ahead.

We had dinner at Due West, and the food was good. However, the service was inconsistent—we had to repeatedly ask for simple things like utensils, water, and sauces. The staff was kind, just a bit forgetful.

The biggest drawback was the noise on the night of our stay. When we returned to our room around 9:00–9:15 PM, there was a party on the property that was extremely loud and definitely affected the peaceful experience we were hoping for.

As for the property itself—it’s charming, but parts of it feel a bit worn. The outdoor fire pit area, for example, had mismatched and weathered furniture that didn’t quite align with the price point or the “luxury” label.

All that being said, I did enjoy our visit and would stay here again. The property is beautiful and has a lot of potential,it just needs a bit more consistency and polish to fully ask high rat

Great location and a little gem of a place!

It was a comfortable room with view of the hills and a stream. It was very clean and quiet. Room had 2 space heaters which we had to use as it was very cool in the room. Could have used a thicker comforter (bedding) but we still enjoyed the location and amenities. No elevator, only stairs but you could choose a ground floor room if needed. We will stay there again for sure!

This is a nice little inn, and we found the room to be nice, though quirky bathroom set-up. That said, we enjoyed the room and thoughtful amenities.

Location is very handy for Point Reyes and all the outdoor stuff in the area.

Our only major issue was checking in. The staff member at the front desk told us he was on his break and that we could come back in 20 minutes. At that time, he could help us. Seriously, at this price point one would imagine there could be back-up staff to accommodate guests.

My wife and I took a 2 night breather to Point Reyes, and for the first time booked the Olema House, it will NOT be our last! The staff was warm and professional, we were upgraded to a garden view 2nd story room, and the entire experience was flawless. Wonderful location near the Point Reyes hikes and Point Reyes Station. Our minor critique is that we wish the room had 2 chairs, instead of one. Room was spotless, well appointed, and the complimentary bottle of wine a bonus. We will be back!

The biggest thing for us was the staff. Everyone was so friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Most memorable were Melanie who checked us in and Kyle who took care of us most of the time. We were there for our parents' 50th anniversary and were just blown away by Kyle's warm hospitality, and thoughtfulness throughout our stay.

Of course the stream-side property itself was unbelievably charming with beautiful, well-maintained grounds, and our 2-level room just had so much character.

We couldn't have had a more comfortable and enjoyable stay, and can't wait to return.

When I booked this property, there is not enough descriptions about the amenities in the room, so we only realized there is NO AC in the room when the temperature reached 100 degrees on that day. Could not stay inside the room during the day, could not sleep during the night with all the fans on. The bed is at the upper level in a loft, which was like an oven without AC. Would never stay there again spending $550 for a room without AC.
The back yard was cool in this property, which is the only pros. There is no free breakfast included in the room rate, if you consider this property is like. B&B style.

Beautiful place to stay in a beautiful area. Clean, comfortable, very friendly staff. Close to Pt Reyes National Seashore. Very good restaurant next door and enough options close by including a good grocery store.
There is a very nice garden area in the back with chairs, tables and a fireplace.
There is a resort fee but if includes a bottle of local wine.
We would definitely recommend and hope to return again someday.

No elevators so if you can’t climb stairs get a first floor room. Sits right on hwy 1 so some street noise. Can hear other guests frequently so if you want peace and quiet not the place. Does not include breakfast which most stays include in this price range. Close to the park. Bottom line over priced. All in we paid $700 plus a night. It’s a $300-$350 kind of place. We are spending 7 nights on the coast and this was the most expensive. But got way more for the money in other stays. Not a lot of options in this area.

This was our first trip to Pt Reyes, this location recommended by a friend. Ideal location on CA-1 located 1 block from the entrance to the Pt Reyes Park entrance. Very nice amenities, very clean, nice restaurant and market directly next door. Like most areas on CA-1 north of SF, it is isolated, but it appeared to be the nicest lodging we saw between Sausalito and Mendocino. And we were looking to get out of the city environment for a weekend.

It's a very peaceful place close to nature. The garden is beautiful with good seating for breakfasts. The clam chowder at the restaurant next door \"Due West\" is amazing! Staff is friendly and helpful. The cell signal is weak in this area, but Wifi works fine. We are thankful that pets are allowed. Be sure to stop by the Bear Vally visitor center to get detailed maps where pets are allowed on the beaches and trails.

The $75 pet fee is rather outrageous. Their rooms can be cleaned in 1 hour. Let’s even be generous abs they need an extra hour to clean. I am pretty sure their cleaners don’t get paid that much.
