Despite some recent reviews, we found this hotel surprisingly good. The rooms seemed clean and comfortable if dated and in need refurbishment.
The location is good but arriving by car can be a problem as there is no car parking spots in front of the hotel, only a small coned off area that you may be lucky enough to get into for the valet car parking.
The breakfast was very disappointing.

This is probably the best hotel in Canakkale. Clean and comfortable. I recommend seaside rooms. There is only one elevator. Rooms have old carpets which I do not like. Very good breakfast. Personnel is super quick when you need support in the room for ac control or internet issues. A Starbucks across the lobby. Great location with dining options. Recommended!

Common areas are not clean. The elevator in the morning was a mess, my feet stuck to the ground. The breakfast are is not ventilated, and is warm. The open buffet food on the counters are stored at room temperature (Cheese etc... (!)) Anyway, the hotel has a huge hygiene problem.

Location is great! It’s right on the water and next to the Trojan horse from the movie. Room was excellent - clean, comfortable, well designed, spacious. Spacious bathroom. Staff was so-so. At the front desk not much care, no smile. We had breakfast included. The restaurant is in the hotel. Service there was awful. No one greeted us or explained how it worked. No one spoke English. We walked around like idiots, tried to point at things at the buffet (you choose the food and they put it on the plate for you) but there was only one girl behind a very long buffet. She didn’t even looked our way. She served only people who spoke Turkish. No one smiles or made an attempt to help us. It felt like we were invisible. Really bad experience. If you stay there, go for food somewhere else, there are tons of options around.

Good hotel and breakfast my only issue is that I book a non smoking room and when I got to my room and cigarette ash tray was on the table. The smell of cigarettes smoke, I complained and they remove the ash tray and said, all there rooms are non smoking.

My stay is good at all. The location of hotel is excellent personnel friendly, breakfast more than good. But the building is old and need reconstruction some equipments inside room are old and not working like air aspirator in the bathroom.

Well worth a visit.

Overnight stop. Lovely room overlooking the sea. Very helpful staff. WiFi good but differing codes for a areas.
Food was basic western burger and chips style.
Highly recommend rooms.
No alcohol although you can buy in the supermarket and take to your room overlooking the sea.

Really great waterfront location. Close proximity to ferry wharf and multiple eateries, shops busses etc. hotel is quiet, Room nicely furnished, fabulous views from balcony over to Gallipoli peninsula, marina and promenade (Trojan horse) etc.

An older hotel but gracious and welcoming. Superb views of Hellespont and delightful promenade at Cesme. Staff very friendly and traditional Turkish breakfast. Highly recommended.

Very nice hotel overlooking the sea.

Nice rooms, great staff. Our room was on the sea side and had wonderful view. Starbucks was there on the first floor and a nice bar cleverly called \"Hangover\" was nice too. Breakfasts were included in the price and let me tell you it was wonderful. Top floor had a very nice fish restaurant. We loved our stay. Keep up the good work.

No value for money. Should be a two star. Really loud rooms and aloof staff. The worst hotel breakfast I've ever had. Most of the hotel is being renovated so it's like staying in a construction site. Dirty common areas.

Older but nice for what it is.

We had a pleasant stay at Akol. It is an older and tired hotel but I don't think there are many quality options to choose from in Canakkale. The staff are pleasant and helpful good location for restaurants and the roof top restaurant is reasonably priced and with great views.

Service was quite good, but breakfast (included) was terrible. Better to either charge for it and discount if from the price, or prepare a decent breakfast.

Acceptable Hotel very well located

The pool did not work and the elevators were functioning weird. Still, the hotel is very well placed. And even if we had a room with view to the city, the personnel managed to offer us a room with parcial view to the ocean. For people that are not interested in luxurious confort, this is a good place to stay. Strategically located in the waterfront, clean, and safe.

The position on the sea front is good, with excellent views from most deluxe rooms. The area is, however, noisy, with surrounding restaurants open until early hours of the morning. The road in front of the hotel is dangerous, so take care. The hotel is currently under renovation (does your website make this clear?). The air conditioning did not work in either of our booked rooms. The listed swimming pool was not operational. The hotel room door was left unlocked after an incomplete cleaning, so use the safe. Breakfast is poor in standard and variety, although some tasty Turkish items. Car parking arrangement is awkward, and concierge may need to park your car (which may void your car rental insurance). Overall, disappointing value and questionable 4-star rating.

Great choice when visiting Canakkale

My friend and I stayed at this hotel for one night only on our drive to London by car
We frequently pass through Canakkale but this is the first time at this hotel.
We found it was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The position is great .
The car park is on the back of the building, secure and free of charge. The room was very nice with a fabulous view
The staff were all wonderful.
The breakfast was a bit limited with choice but still enough to satisfy .
All in all we were very happy with our stay at this hotel and will definitely be staying there the next time we are in Canakkale.

Very comfortable hotel. Concierge was there to welcome us on arrival. Valet service damaged the rental car slightly. Looked like the front had bèen driven over a kerb then reversed off leaving the wing separated near the headlamp. It was possible to push it back mostly but it was a disappointing experience. Top hotel. I do recommend it. Breakfast buffet pretty ordinary. Chef needs to get out more.Akol

Actually i was worried about late reservation but they were so nice and helpful to me because i tried to check in at 7 am in the morning. I had a great room and smile face to me. It's right in the middle of the city center And has a beautiful sea view. Walking to the cafe and restaurants. Thank you so.much for.all employees and owners of the hotel.

More luxury than expected

The hotel is virtually in front of the port, which makes it easy to find upon arrival. I saw many other hotels, as my conference colleagues were spread out all over town, so I can fairly safely say that this is the supreme hotel on the waterfront. The room and the view that went with it were impressive, as was the rooftop bar and and food in the downstairs restaurant. The breakfast was of the standard Turkey variety. The price is fair; in fact, I felt it was a bit of a bargain. Stay here if you can.

Sadece konumu ve park yeri iyiydi.
Banyoda, ucu açık, umumi tuvaletlerdeki gibi kirli tuvalet fırçası. Odaya raf olsun diye koydukları cam oturmayınca kağıtlarla sıkıştırmışlar. Ciddi bakım gereken bir otel.

Wir haben ein größeres Zimmer für 3 Erwachsene und einem Kind (mit Altersangabe 7 Jahre) gebucht. Im Zimmer waren aber leider nur Platz für 3 Personen - ein Doppelbett und ein Einzelbett. Als wir das Personal darauf hingewiesen haben, weil wir ja auch mehr bezahlt hatten, meinte die Dame am Empfang, wir hätten ein Baby angegeben aber kein Kleinkind. Die Details zur Buchung über die App wollte sie nicht sehen. Ein Mitarbeiter der uns zu den Zimmern geführt hat, hat sich die Buchung angesehen und uns ein weiteres kleines Bett zur Verfügung gestellt, wofür wir sehr dankbar waren. Parkplätze standen kostenlos zur Verfügung. Das Zimmer war sauber und die Lage war top - direkt am Meer. Frühstück war in Ordnung.

İlk olarak çift kişilik tek yatak yerine iki tane ayrı tek kişilik yatak verildi. Bunun bilgisi de daha önce söylenmedi hatta odaya girerken bile bilgisi verilmedi biz odaya çıktığımızda gördük.
Yataklarda hiç rahat değildi. Kahvaltılık ürünleri inanılmaz kalitesiz. Kesinlikle temiz değil, çay bardaklarının kenarlarında bulaşık suyu vardı. Kahvaltı yapılan yerin camları leş gibi ve burası dört yıldızlı bir otel (bence 3 günlük değil en az 1 ay önce temizlenmiş) Temizlik de kaliteyi gösteren unsurlardan biridir.

Akol hotel de eşimle bir gece konakladık. Genel olarak hiçbir sorun yaşamadık. Aksam yemegi icin Teras katindaki restoranı tercih ettik. Bogaz manzarası güzeldi fiyatlar genel olarak makuldu lezzeti istanbuldaki çoğu mekandan güzeldi.Yemekten mennun olarak ayrıldık. Otelin sabah kahvaltısı bol çeşitli ve tazeydi. Eksik birsey yoktu.Ortam nezih ve düzenliydi. Guzel bir gün gecirdik.

Otel girişinden çıkışına çok güzeldi kahvaltısı yeterliydi otopark hizmeti vardı. Konumu muhteşemdi. Motorsiklet ile gitmiştik ertesi gün çıkış yapmamıza rağmen akşama kadar otoparkı kullanmamıza izin verdiler her şey için teşekkür ederiz. Çanakkale’de konaklamak için en doğru tercih.

3 gece konakladık, odamız hem temiz hem manzarası konumu hemde isik ve havadar olmasi sebebiyle çok güzeldi. Gece dışarıdan gelen arac ve muzik sesleri haricinde rahatsız olmadim onuda pencereyi kapatarak hallettik. Giris ve cikis islemi cok hizli idi teferruat ile ugrasmadik saolsunlar. Kahvaltı acik büfe ve akliniza gelebilecek cogu kahvaltılık mevcuttu.

Mayıs ayında 1 geceliğine konakladık. Otelin konumu mükemmel. Kaşdığımız oda deniz manzaralı balkonlu idi. Odasıda gayet temiz ve güzeldi. Sabah açık büfe kahvaltısı bence çeşit ve lezzet anlamında gayet yeterli. Çatıda bulunan balık restoranında manzara ve lezzetler muhteşem. Personel güleryüzlü ve ilgili. Yolum düşerse tekrar kalabileceğim bir otel.
