The room was very comfortable, clean and there were lovely useful elements in it such as a small fridge with cooled water and milk and a lovely selection of tea and coffee including decaff coffee which I'm a fan of. I loved the large comfortable and very clean bathroom with a lovely shower and the handy little bits like showe caps, soaps etc.

My only negative about the hotel was the fact that the leisure area - the pool / sauna were a bit dated - but thse being dated wouldn't be much issue at all as overall I still managed to relax and reset thanks to it. The issue I had was the lack of cleanliness in the pool yeah, OK, hello, aww. It was lovely. I want to download to the flowers to Daniel. Oh no, that's so much your mother. 01 of my favourites, I'm happy life. The word mother and I get every day you're cooking busy, you should be right. I know, bakes me, sadly, ohh God, we have to stop. To be honest for the whole day, yeah, you got a different. I had a full Irish breakfast and I'd like, oh stop and don't think that, do you know what? The hotel was lovely. Overall, it wasn't like super modern, probably a nice kind of you know, typical. Not east longer hotel. Yeah, the only negative that I have. And I was gonna not put it still because they asked me for the reviews now, but I didn't realise it's topics. I'm not gonnashower area ( I spotted a big disgusting lump of hair in the shower cabin, an empty shower gel container on the floor. When I tried to pump a bit of shower gel

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious with a nice view of golf course. The bed is comfortable. The used amenities such as swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Plenty of options in breakfast but we just noticed that only one staff there and you need to wait for a little while because if that. But overall nice hotel!

Breakfast was the best in Ireland and I am Gluten free. Absolutely delicious. Breakfast bacon was perfect not overdone. Mushrooms were so good. Views are stunning and staff are consistently so friendly and welcoming. My favourite place in our Irish Stay !

We only stayed here one night. Not great, - the bathroom had some sort of leak as our carpet was soaking wet. No one on reception except a security guard who did try and help. However, the hotel was full and they could not swap our room so we had to just tough it out until morning when we checked out.

One couple unable to travel and no refund even partial was offered. (Genuine reason - Margaret had spinal decompression surgery two days ago for acute disc lesion!)

My stay was okay. The hotel itself is fine and the room was clean, but it is certainly showing signs of wear. They really need to work on accessibility. For example, there's no reason not to have a front door that opens automatically or with a push of the button in order to make it easier for people with wheelchairs, strollers, or even just those trying to manage their luggage. Similarly, it is very annoying that the small lift that takes you to the rooms is out of order and, despite the fact that I was pushing a baby in a stroller and had a wheeled suitcase, no one alerted me to this fact or offered to help.

2nd time staying here and was disappointed, thought the girl on the front desk was very good and the room itself was decent but WiFi and phone coverage were awful.
Might have been a different experience if I wasn’t staying for work but unfortunately that was the case. WiFi crashed multiple times, couldn’t hotspot as my phone signal was “E” or “3G” at the best of times.
Breakfast wasn’t great, servers didn’t come near me for ordering hot food off the menu.

Superb hotel

I was attending an event at the hotel and decided to stay overnight, rather than face a late night drive home.
All the staff members I interacted with were extremely helpful, friendly and very professional.
My room was on the ground floor and was superb. The bed was so comfortable. The room was large and very well decorated and very clean and tidy, I had a cooked breakfast the following morning and this was excellent.

Noisy, frustrating stay - worst ever

While the check-in was pleasant and all staff were professional I have to say the noise in the room was absolutely awful.
I was given the room as an ‘upgrade’ at check-in but I suspect the room is a known problem room. There was a constant thumping from when I checked in at 6pm to when I checked out at noon - it was relentless apart from maybe three hours in the dead of night.
I was extremely tired on arrival and so went to bed early and having done so did not really want to complain and have to repack and change room. I was also certain that any adjacent rooms would no doubt have heard the same constant thudding with it being so loud. I don’t know if the room sat under a gym or a function room or something but it was the worst I’ve ever experienced.
I mentioned it at checkout and the lady said she’d look onto it straight away - I only hope that helps the next guest.
Staff and breakfast were fine as I say, I didn’t use any other facilities but the minimum I expect for €180 per night is a good peaceful nights sleep and to not have to change room.

We had the loveliest overnight stay in a really large comfortable ground floor room. We had a beautiful meal in the bar in the evening & an equally delicious breakfast in the morning. It was okay but we chose this hotel for the pool and the hot tub. The hot tub was cold and when we went to go swimming there were at least 20 children getting swim lessons taking up the whole pool. The changing room was filled with children of both sexes and there was no privacy. These were for the second group going in.
We will not stay here again. Hot tubs are supposed to be hot. We told them about it but they said that is how it is. Very disappointed.

I want to give it five stars but the bathtub was designed for giants. I was afraid to take a shower as stepping back down looked treacherous.

Disappointedly cold room in a supposed Junior Suit

The room was cold on arrival and heating didn’t come on until after 7pm. We had to borrow a fan heater with that dusty smell off it and the guy at reception said to turn it off if we left the room. What is he, our parent? The heating didn’t come on until after 9am the next morning. It has a temperature control but this hotel deliberately sets timers probably due to the energy costs. However I don’t like staying in a cold room and believe the room rate set should ensure a comfortable stay at a minimum. The food was pretty ordinary as well, packet chips with no taste and overly deep fried fish too crisp to enjoy.

Avoid the Bar Food Restaurant.

Reception very efficient and friendly. Room was very pleasant. Restaurant let's the establishment down, action needs to be taken. My order was for a toasted cheese and onion sandwich. My partner's meal was served first, he had almost finished eating when mine was served to the table. Bread was toasted on one side only. I returned it and waited another 15 mins. This time it was still only toasted on one side and had ham in it. Returned it again and by this time my patience had run out and I left the Restaurant. The lady serving was either a Supervisor or Manager her long hair was very loosely tied back and so when she bent down to serve there was a lot of loose hair cascading, very off putting and un-hygenic. I would have thought a toasted sandwich would not be challenging for a Hotel Kitchen, I hate to imagine had it been a 7 course degustation/tasting menu. The young bar staff were very efficient and pleasant.

Nice hotel on the outskirts of Tipperary

The hotel was fine but i think i was expecting a bit more without being able to pinpoint what i was expecting. Service at the front desk was fine but service at the bar was poor. You have to wait to be seated and the couple in front of me were taken to their seats and then served drinks before i was even acknowledged this is despite their being 3 people in the bar with two of them standing around.
Breakfast was poor with the standard of the food cold and uninviting, would i stay here again, probably not.

Arrived at hotel all was fine went down for dinner that was fine we went to bed later and we had children running up and down the corridor all night having races when I called reception no answer eventually children were put to bed then there were people drinking and smoking outside the door having great fun phoned reception again and again no response eventually getting some sleep at 4.30 am and when we got up to get showers the rooms had no water we had to leave the hotel without having a shower or even washing our teeth just a nightmare

I stayed here on a Monday in late November for business in nearby Tipperary Town. The room was clean and comfortable and overlooked the golf course. The room had good space and facilities and the shower was top notch. I ate in the bar and had a really excellent and good value steak sandwich which I would highly recommend. Breakfast was average, all covered hot plates and cereals. Service was excellent throughout.

We enjoyed our stay here and found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The room itself was very well set out and spacious. We had an issue with our rental car and the desk staff were great with their assistance.. if your ever staying in Ballykisteen for the horse racing this is the place, it’s literally a walk across the road to the track. Their is plenty of room for parking and the wifi in the room was strong and reliable. We would certainly stay here again.

Stayed here for 1 night. Room was spacious with a window that opened up onto the greens. There was plenty of parking. All the staff were welcoming and the bfast had everything. They also had a carvery for dinner which was tasty and also very large. Could not fault it. My husband played a game of golf and was very happy with the guy at the pro shop. Would recommend.

The greeting left us feeling, whether we were there or not it did not matter to the desk clerk.
I reserved 2 rooms.
We asked for soap for the shower, either bar or liquid, he stated \"I will have one of the girls bring it to the rooms\". It was not delivered. The room door for one room did not have a second lock, but the the other room did. The rooms were hot but without screens we could not open the windows so we were just uncomfortable.

Visiting family in the area and it was perfect for this. Staff very friendly and helpful. Special mentions for the guy at reception who printed out my Ryanair boarding pass and a young lady at breakfast called Sophie who was delightful and couldn't do enough for us. Room was great and facilities terrific. Nit picking, the bar needs another till - masses of staff to serve but they were all queueing to get to the till! Look forward to the next visit.
