The TV hardly worked which was disappointing. The breakfast was fine but the hotel offers virtually nothing else, which is perhaps understandable in such a small town. Beds had mattress pads which were okay. The location was useful.

We had to change rooms but they only had one other pet friendly room and it was booked. But they gave us another room (that wasn’t pet friendly) and didn’t make a big deal or charge extra. We are responsible pet owners, and it was only a 10 lb older dog, but they didn’t know that and still let us stay. Not all hotels would.

Our room was dirty, the carpet was frayed and ripped up, our puppy had found two bugs and an orange round pill with the letter Z on it, the place obviously we had not been vacuumed clean. The mattresses were box springs, and one had a 2 inch memory foam on it. Thankfully, we were only in this place for one night, and probably won’t be staying there again. I understand that we were in a pet friendly room, but our pets are kept cleaner than this room was. I don’t understand why pet friendly rooms have to be the worst rooms in the building. We felt dirty leaving the place in the morning. We didn’t even shower or eat the continental breakfast. I would not recommend this place to others.

Everything was apt. Check in was convenient, rooms were good. They have ample of parking space and a few dining options are just around at walkable distance. Gas station is also on the same plaza so overall we had a very good experience. Breakfast was good as well. It also has a fitness centre that you can avail in the morning. Would definitely recommend this and be here again when in the area.

The Inn is just off a major highway which made it convenient for my travel needs.
The staff were friendly & helpful.
The bed was very comfortable & there was a larger than usual fridge which would have been great had I stayed longer than one night. Air conditioning was easily accessible & adjustable.
And the complimentary hot continental breakfast was satisfying.
My only‘complaint was with the chairs in my room: the desk chair was not comfortable & the armchair was too low.
Otherwise excellent & I would stay there again.

The staff were extremely friendly! The staff honestly made our stay, housekeeping was so friendly and accommodating, the breakfast was great, it was actual sausage and bacon not just cheap ready crisp stuff. They had lots of options for the waffles, whipped cream, raspberry puree, nutella, sweetened oats. The front desk lady was so friendly. Thank you for making our stay so welcoming!

The bed was comfy and the room generally clean but did find a used bar of soap in the shower. I booked through expedia and was sure i booked a room with a tub but ended up with an accessible room. We weren't at the hotel much as we were out and about midday if our stay. The rooms are looking a little tired but generally ok.

We liked nothing during check in the clerk took cc info, DL and other questions, while standing waiting noticed a sign stated that there would be no water the following day from morning till evening, we stated we would need water as our appointments were the following afternoon, all he could say was sorry. The Days inn was fine. The room we booked through Expedia was a king room. The room we got at checkin was a handicap accessible king room. Nowhere on our reservation did it mention the handicap accessible. We asked for a different room but were told by staff that this was the room that Expedia booked us. The room was only handicap accessible by name as the shower toiletry rack was up high as were the towels. The ac control was also too high to be reached from a wheel chair. Couldn’t even begin to understand the frustration that someone who is in a wheelchair would have had even though it is a handicap accessible room. Room was clean staff was nice. Breakfast was decent.
I blame Expedia for the room mix up.

Check in was good, front desk was not very friendly but he let us check in w/o credit card for incidental (fully paid from Expedia) with the promise that my husband will stop by to provide the credit card in an hour.

Pillows are all shapes and sizes but we brought our own pillows so no issue with that.
The bed is hard and memory foam is not comfortable.
The room/washroom is clean.
The sheets are clean.
The wall is paper thin, there was a loud noise that woke us up, like a water pipes banging.

In the AM:
My daughter is not feeling well so we stayed in the room a bit later, 30 minutes before breakfast is over there is no bacon and sausages, I asked if they will be providing as part of the free breakfast but the front desk said no as the breakfast is almost over (this is 20 mins before the end time)
Well there’s still people looking to eat some bacon and sausages.

It’s too bad as I was looking forward to having it for my breakfast.

Staff are not friendly.
It’s a bed to sleep in but for the price I’d book somewhere else.

Then when I go to check in, they can’t find my reservation in the system and the front desk was just simply rude about it and made ZERO effort to contact Expedia or investigate further even though I showed her the reservation details. I ended up having to pay again and get a new room and get a refund from Expedia for initial reservation that they couldn’t find. $180 at this hotel gets you a filthy room and bathroom with the worst beds I have ever laid on. I wouldn’t feed the breakfast to my dog. Absolutely deplorable. One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. NEVER AGAIN. Do better Days Inn. I wish I could give it zero stars.

Rooms are ok, the tvs could be updated, a lot of the tv channels were fuzzy, annoying. Breakfast buffet is ok but 2 hours prior to breakfast being over, no more replenishing it, meh

It turned out to be quite the inconvenience for me continuing my stay while at work, and I found one lady working the front desk was very irritable. The water in the room was extremely cold, and took forever to warm up, and every time I came back to my room after the day, room service would always turn down the heat, so it was an icebox when I returned

The TV in this room was absolutely terrible, be ready for only 12 channels That actually work. There’s probably four that are super snowy, and 10 that have an update information placard that you can’t get rid of on them.

Property is the best choice in Athabasca. It is aged/older with ample safe parking for larger vehicles and trucks w boats/trailers.
Check in was easy, rooms was clean, tv and cable needs updating, ice machine was out of order, breakfast was excellent amd plentiful. We will be back next summer.
