Great helpful staff that gave us directions, tips, and recommendations. Breakfast was pretty good too. Good location, not in the touristy part of Rome but still very accessible. Walking distance from the Vatican and from major shopping areas. We liked our room for the most part.
The issues we had with the room were the following: 1) defective shower door - had a hard time closing it 2) wires mid-air across the balcony 3) one of the USB ports was not working 4) we had a smart TV but couldn’t even watch major sports games 5) the water they gave us was not clean. We saw things in the glass we poured.

First let me start off by saying that my first impression was a 5 star. Why? Let me tell you.

Our flight into Rome FCO was delayed, therefore by the time I was to arrive at the hotel property was going to be after 7:00 P.M., and that's when the reception closes. THe hotel reached out to remind me of this policy. I informed them my situation and they sent me instructions on how to get into the property, which was very much appreciated. Upon arrival at the property (approx. 7:30 P.M.) to my surprise the employee that reached out earlier that afternoon was about to leave, but was so delighted to see me, she stayed and helped us with the check in, showed us the rooms (we reserved two rooms) and gave us a tour of the property. We were so appreciated of this. Thank you Lavinia for your warm hospitality.

The rooms were very clean. The staff was incredibly friendly. No complaints about the staff. My only complaint is the breakfast. There was no variation. It was the same thing served every single day, and when you are staying at the same property this can be tiresome.

The ac doesn’t work very well and is not keeping the room cool unless you are in the room with your card in the wall plate that allows you to control the room. The fridge isn’t cold, the drain in the shower was clogged and we alerted them to fix and they did. Convienient location and the bed is comfortable.

Relais Vittoria Colonna was perfect for our stay in Rome. The location is phenomenal - you can walk everywhere, and there are plenty of buses stopping right in front of the property. Yet, it is also quiet and serene which is great after a day among all the crowds.
The staff is superb. So friendly and helpful, be it with directions, tips for tours or making dinner reservations.
Breakfast was very good, too, and it was a much appreciated added benefit that some snacks and drinks were available all day.

Relais Vittoria Colonna has been a wonderful place to stay while in Roma. The entire staff have all been friendly, helpful, and easy to communicate with. It has been a fabulous location to stay while walking to or using city buses to get to anywhere we needed to go. Breakfasts have fed us well in the morning. Very secure access and plenty of nearby restaurants. The room was well appointed and clean. The shower door was a bit awkward but can be overlooked considering everything else. We would have no problem staying here again and probably will if we ever get back to Rome.

I had a wonderful stay at Relais Vittoria Colonna in Rome. The property is ideally situated for exploring the city’s iconic sites—many major attractions are within walking distance, making it an excellent base for sightseeing. The surrounding area is filled with great restaurants, cafés, and shops, so you’re never far from a good meal or an inviting place to relax.
The staff were exceptionally helpful and polite throughout my stay. They went out of their way to ensure everything was comfortable and enjoyable, offering assistance with recommendations, directions, and anything else I needed.
Overall, Relais Vittoria Colonna offers a perfect combination of location, comfort, and warm hospitality. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rome.

The hotel is located in a unique location. Walking distant to the major attractions. Breakfast is nice and u can have both savory and sweet food and freshly squeezed orange juice. The only side note is that picture show that there is a hot tub but in reality we didnt see any. Also they say complimentary bottle of wine but there wasnt any in the room. We first stayed at Relais Vittoria in January 2025 and had such a wonderful experience that we couldn’t resist returning in January 2026. The hotel’s perfect location and peaceful atmosphere made it an easy choice. Our room was spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and offered the same quiet comfort we remembered from our previous stay — especially the incredibly comfortable bed that guaranteed a perfect night’s sleep.
What made our return truly special was the warm welcome from the staff. It was lovely to see familiar faces who went out of their way to make us feel at home once again. Their friendly service and attention to detail reminded us why this hotel stands out.
We’re already looking forward to our next visit, and hope to return again in January 2027. Relais Vittoria has become our favourite place to relax and unwind — highly recommended for anyone seeking comfort and genuine hospitality.

This was a perfect hotel experience! The bed was incredibly comfortable, the breakfast was amazing, and the staff was so warm and welcoming! We loved the intimate setting and the location. Easy bus access from outside of the hotel. Used mostly lines 70 & 87 to get around, aside from walking. Took bus 70 from Roma Termini straight to the hotel. We would absolutely come back here again. Absolutely disappointed with this place. Pictures fooled us. Did not even unpack our bags! Dirty, smelled horrible, our balcony felt as if it were going to crumble. If there were room on the floor, it seemed itd be better than the bed. Not quite sure how an average adult gets in/out of the showet its so tight. Definitely would not recommend. Complained to manager and they did nothing to help so we left 30min into our 4 day reservation and no refund or anything. Do not stay here

This was my second stay at this hotel. This time I had been given a ‘superior’ room. Although it was like a suite, the only window looked out on to a shaft with drain pipes. I asked for a room change which they did the next day - so I had paid for a ‘superior’ room and ended up in one of the normal rooms which I was more satisfied with, apart from the pricing issue - I really feel I deserve a refund. The free bottle of wine was a large bottle of prosecco - for one person!!!! Ended up throwing most of it down the sink. Despite excellent location I’m not sure I will stay there again.

The roof top breakfast buffet was over the top fabulous...from the freshly squeezed OJ,the coffee,eggs,bacon, and on and on! The lovely man who made my cappuccino endured all the guests were well cared for. The only down side was the construction noise from the adjacent building.

Little gem in the centre of Rome.

Fantastico! We had to make a last minute booking due to another property letting us down. On arrival we were warmly welcomed by the delightful Elizabetha (spelling?). The hotel is on the 4th floor, easily accessible by lift, of a lovely building. We walked to all the key attractions and didn't find a need for transportation.
The hotel room was small to medium size and was spotlessly clean. We upgraded (small cost) to a room with a lovely bijou balcony which we sat on each evening.
The hotel offers a complimentary breakfast buffet which was well stocked with friendly staff serving freshly squeezed OJ and speciality coffee.
Bottom line is that we would definitely stay again. Excellent friendly service. Grazie Mille

This property is a little unique when you first get there because you need to go to the fourth floor to check in…. But the room was clean and the staff was a 10 out of 10….. also there is a great breakfast in the morning up on the roof that is included. This hotel is very convenient to everything. There’s lots of great restaurants and easy walking distance to a lot of attractions.
I would highly recommend it.

When we were there the wifi was out (+6 days). It made it difficult to work, but we survived.

So a rather major lack of privacy! everything else was fine and they gave us a reallly useful sheet with recommended restaurants. Elisabetta and her team at the hotel were very friendly and welcoming. We arrived early in the morning and they held our luggage so we could enjoy the city until our room was ready. The breakfast was delightful- great selections of croissants, meat, cheese, fruit, fresh squeezed orange juice and tasty coffee. There was an elevator to help with baggage, although the beautiful old marble steps were lovely to occasionally climb. As are most accommodations in Europe, the room and bathroom were a little on the smaller side, but this did not detract from a great experience. Everything was clean with fresh towels daily and cold water provided in the mini fridge. The location is perfect and walkable to most attractions, with bus stops a few steps away in the street. Also several restaurants very close by and the staff were always helpful in giving recommendations. Will absolutely recommend to friends and visit again for future trips!

Room itself was cosy and had air conditioning, everything we needed was there and staff were on hand to assist. Only drawback was a non full length blind and the door buzzers being rather loud after hours. I think this was due to room selection.

4th floor for the hotel, a lift is available, a consideration for some.
