Great place to stay, I didn't max out the all inclusive, far from, but defos worth paying for it, 3 places to eat that I'm aware of, really nice place, friendly staff, not lots to do around the hotel, I think 2.5 miles to Benidorm centre, nice walk, is bus service as well, outside the hotel though.

The best hotel in benidorm

It is the second time i come at Bali Hotel. My little daughter loves Bianca from the animation team. A lovely place and a a great spirit from all the people there. The old boss giving presents every night to the kids is such good feeling. He is old an i hope i will find him again when i visit Gran Bali the next years.

Excellent holiday rooms really clean the most beautiful view of sea and pools from our balcony ❤️ the staff from reception dining pool bars housekeepers so lovely and friendly will def go back loved it x restaurant food was excellent so much choice also love the room card payments . You put money on them so you don’t have to carry card or cash you can upgrade for meals on restaurant and drinks at bar for 10% off also ice cream bar great service

Enjoyed my stay at Hotel Gran Bali

I’ve enjoyed my holiday at Gran Bali hotel Benidorm. Cleanliness and comfort. Given a sea view as requested and the view and room were very pleasant Restaurant was clean and staff helpful if needed. Only issue was the long queues to buy a drink in the island bar. Especially in the late afternoon. Only 1 staff making coffees. Cocktails and other drinks taking time before you can be served. I can imagine this will be worse when hotel full. Staff were pleasant though. No signs to say where the spa is . Prices were on display which appeared expensive Entertainment was missing but out of season and we wanted a peaceful holiday. Public bus and taxi to the Old Town cheap. A few miles out or an hour walk. Beautiful and clean beaches and promenade Hot Food as other reviews tends not to be. But there is plenty of choice and plentiful. Especially breakfast was very good.

I loved the hotel, it was beautiful. The staff were very helpful taking my mobility scooter backwards and forwards tonthe parking area. However i was disappointed and surprised that i had to pay €6 a day to park my scooter at the hotel and was not permitted to have in the hotel itself which was difficult to manage as i have very limited mobility and found it very difficult walking around such a large hotel without it.

Good location and close to where we needed to be. We stayed in the older part of the hotel, and our room was quite basic but the size was perfect for our family (two adults and one child). Room and hotel were very clean. Checkin was easy and checkout even easier, someone was waiting in the very busy lobby helping direct those who were checking out so we didn’t have to wait in line.

We have stayed here before. However, we won't again. It was our minimoon and we emailed but nothing was done, not even a congratulations. The food was never more than warm and not as good as we remember. No information was given at the desk such as you need to scan a QRcode for information and that
you could pre-load your card for cheaper drinks.

Impressive hotel . Very clean nice decor , well maintained . Comfortable with great amenities . Lots of areas to sit comfortably and chill . Nice pool area . The room we had was huge very impressed . All in all a very good stay here and would recommend . The only thing I would say is it is a bit away from main areas of night life and main centres but if you want a quieter area it would suit you . Loved the glass lifts going up to 42nd floor great views .

Rooms a bit dated and found fake nail on the floor, ash on the balcony rail and cleaner left cloth in room. Staff always busy and didn’t show much service. Breakfast was average quality but was ok. The hotel is not a four star whatsoever. Good sized pools and not too far from the beach. If you get a good deal then it’s not too bad otherwise wouldn’t.

OK but not 4star.

The music in foyer was loud which made everybody talk even louder to be heard. It was still going in the evening when the live music in the bar started. Not a good sound.
Shower gels not replenished each day. There for 3 nights and 2 people having 2 showers a day there was only enough for 1 day.
Only had breakfast. Good selection but not very hot.

Hotel worth a visit if you want quite area. Is a bit out of the way if you want more entertainment though bus run up to 11 at night.
Staff were very helpful and if late pick up you can use a room for 30 min to freshen up before journey home.

It's actually a reasonable hotel

I was concerned having read some reviews after I booked, but all in all there is nothing wrong with this hotel. I renamed it the holiday farm, as it is vast, and the restaurants/canteens are huge and lack any ambience, however, breakfast was more than agreeable. The hotel hosts people from a number of nations and deals with them more than adequately. There is a host of compulsory fun provided by the enternainment team and watching the BASE jumping from the roof is lots of fun. It's in the quieter side of Benidorm, but the lively part is simple enough to get to should you want to be out until crazy o'clock in the morning. For the price it is good value for money. I had to use the laundry service as I was on a 4 week multi location trip, this was a bit pricey.

I've outgrown the Bali

This was my 4th stay at the Hotel Bali and unfortunately not my best.
Not given room I requested(room with sea view and balcony) eventually got one next day after 2nd request(thank you reception staff).
Awoken most early mornings because of Stag and/or Hen party's who have decided to carry the party on in their rooms. No attempt by security or hotel staff to quiet the situation.
I gave up with the bar during the day as staff were overworked and the wait was long.

So its good bye Hotel Bali it was great on first trip but unfortunately gone down hill from their

Large hotel close to beach

I liked the location of the hotel, close to beach and shops. Staff very friendly and room comfortable. I didn't like the number of rooms/guests as the facilities are not suitable for the number of guests eg. swimming pool, long queues at reception.
Liked the free wifi in reception, would have like it to be extended to rooms.
Food- good value for money and good choice but shocked that you had to pay for a glass of water with your meal.
Found some other English guests quite offensive- swearing loudly at their children. Made me feel ashamed to be British.

Gran Bali Hotel Benidorm

Appeared to be primarily a quieter hotel for Spanish clientele. Friendly staff and public facilities, including the food, live up to the star rating. The rooms I would give a lesser star as they are a little tired and dark but are clean. A variety of cafes and bars are close by, however, should you wish to visit the main Benidorm night life, expect at least a 20 minute taxi ride. Would I book the Gran Bali if visiting Benidorm again......most certainly as long as I again stayed in a lower floor room in tower 1. Tower 2 is very tall and not for those like me who do not like heights.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Hotel Bali for 4 nights at the end of September 2016, the room itself was lovely, we were placed in the smaller building on the 18th floor and the view was stunning. The bedroom and bathroom were nice and clean, and we got clean sheets and towels every day. On the first night we were there we decided to eat in the hotel restaurant, in the room there was information about the restaurant opening times and dress code, it basically said put some effort into your appearance for the evening meal, so we did...It seemed like we were the only ones. It was a buffet meal and it was the worse food I have ever eaten. There was only one vegetarian option - unless you count salad and chips - and quite a random selection of other foods, none of it really seemed to go together. I managed to get a mish mash of things on my plate to eat but ended up leaving most of it due to it being so terrible. Once we were back in the room we both felt sick and lethargic, we had breakfast included in our stay but didn't go back down to the restaurant again. During our stay there was a base jumping competition that we could watch from our balcony which was quite cool. We only sat round the pool once, the pool area was nice, we just preferred the beach.

Overall the stay was nice, the view from our balcony made up for the terrible food and there were enough places to eat in the area to avoid the hotel restaurant altogether.

Disappointing from arrival. We had a package delivered to the hotel which arrived the day before our arrival and the hotel staff seemed to not know anything. We called the company delivering the package certifying the hotel accepted it the day before and the staff was still up in arms. It was not until my husband started getting really stern with the staff with everyone watching that the package finally appeared. Of course after the package appeared my husband thanked them and apologized for getting agitated. Arriving in our room the room is just a little dated. Not sure what kind of 4 star hotel uses sheets that look like is meant for a childs bedroom. The worse part was how hot it was. The hotel takes the AC off until summer. Slept with the balcony door open every night. The beds were terribly uncomfortable. The view from the balcony was great but the plastic chair and table were far less desireable. The rooms amenities were not great either. One has to rent the safe box. One has to leave a deposit of 20 Euro to get an iron. The phone hardly worked and ended having to go to reception in order to ask them something. The tub/shower is less than 1/3 partially covered which means when taking a shower there is water everywhere on the floor. The toiletries were not great either, didn't use them after the first night. Breakfast at the hotel was one of the better experiences, however, did not enjoy the dinner, go elsewhere. The panoramic elevators weren't working either.

Previous person smoked in room, next room ac was not working and sun was beating on window. Could not stay in room in the afternoon because A/C was not working. Tiles in several areas where loose. Night live and people screaming went on till at least 3am. I did expect more from such a Hotel. The room size was fine the people were nice and helpfull and breakfast was good. Will not stay there again!!!

On arrival at the hotel queues at check in desk were horrendous due to key cards not being operational because of computer errors. Had to wait 45 minutes for bell boy to open doors to room manually and thereafter after two hours had to stand again to collect updated key card. I appreciate at this time of the year staff are under a lot of pressure but in their capacity should be more capable of handling clients accordingly but certainly were far from pleasant and certainly did not have the Christmas spirit. Meals were adequate nothing to rave about! Beds were very hard if you didn't have a bad back when you arrived you certainly had one when you left. So disappointed as the Bali Hotel is the largest in Benidorm but is certainly not to be recommended and is now quite dated as I am led to believe dining room/restaurants/bedrooms have never been updated. I hope this information is of assistance to future clients.

Great value for money and great views

Very nice room and balcony with excellent pool and sea views (rooms xxx1-xx19. Room no's higher than 19 have city view and no balcony). Great pool area.
Breakfast offered a wide variety of cereals, fruit, boiled and fried eggs, some cheese, ham, and sliced sausage plus pastries. I never had worse coffee! That goes for cappucino as well as for traditional ground coffee with milk from different stations and over three days! Orange juice was excellent.
I only had dinner at the hotel once. The buffet dinner is a very cheap add-on-option - around €3 a day. The buffet looked nice, but tasted... My conclusion was that if you appreciate food, the hotel buffet dinner is not an option.

Great Hotel but rather big!

We stayed for two nights at the Gran Bali and we were very impressed with all aspects of the hotel. The hotel is very large but well managed. We stayed just for B & B so we cannot comment on lunch or dinner but breakfast was very good; a good variety of hot and cold foods, plenty of cereals, bread and tea and coffee etc. We were on the 36th floor which gave great views over the whole of Benidorm. Our room was large with a very big bed and the en suite facilities were good. Prices for room, drinks and other products were very reasonable. We would certainly stay there again and the only criticism we would say is that the hotel is just a bit too big.

Avoid peak season: far too many people. The pool is always busy and hotel people are struggling to service the crowds.
On the other hand views of Benidorm and the beach from the rooms on the front are fantastic, hotel position excellent, food is above average and service is good given the number of visitors.

Don't stay here especially when they have a salsa convention on - music going on till 5 in the morning then patrons leaving the centre yelling and screaming. Air conditioning couldn't handle 40degree temperature and room stuffy and hot all night. Floors dirty with a toothpick on the floor when we checked in and was still there when we checked out 9 nights later. Floors were tiles and you could here every footstep from the room above. Breakfast was lousy - bacon eggs and beans cold and bacon hard and dry. 20 minute wait in queue at pool bar to be told there was a 20 minute wait for cocktails due to lack of qualified staff. Very little entertainment at the hotel so had to travel into new town every night adding €20 per day to cost of stay. Definitely NOT a 4 star hotel in my opinion.

Considering that English holiday companies use this Hotel it only seemed to be catering for the Spanish pensioner

Hotel Gran Bali Benidorm. A mixed review.

We have just spent 5 days at the Gran Hotel Bali for a short Autumn break. I will start with the positives, the view from our 10th floor room was fantastic. There were no stampedes in the morning for the sunbeds (probably down to the unpredictable weather) and overall cleanliness was ok.
On the flip side, it seemed like a hotel was under pressure with not enough staff, the receptionist struggled to tell us about the hotel as he kept answering the phone while checking us in. Food variety was limited and dirty plates were left on tables for long periods. The entertainment catered only for the elderly with slow accordian and organ music! So people with a little more life would have to go elsewhere. There are no Tea making facilities in the rooms. All extra facilities had to be paid for ie the gym, wifi.
To summarise, the hotel is ok if you are looking for a short break but we question its 4 star rating as it does not come close to the other 4stars we have stopped in.

Lovely hotel

Just returned from 4 nights at the Gran Hotel Bali, had a lovely stay. The hotel is in the quieter part of Benidorm which was nice during the day and it is only a bus or taxi ride to all the night life.
The staff were very helpful and friendly, the hotel was very clean and the pools were lovely with no problem getting a sunbed and brolly.

A bit too far out of town

Looking dated, and not the jewel in the crown of Benidorm. Do expect to get completely frustrated with having to wait for the incredibly slow lifts that, if you are in building 2, only accommodate 3 people at a time. So when one does eventually turn up, you can't get in it anyway due to a couple of people already being in it from a higher floor.

Initially given a room on the first floor in building 1 that was shabby and dated. Very poor view, with a balcony in the shadows of the structural surrounds. Asked for a room change on the second day after many Spanish visitors checked out (much better in building 2 on the eleventh floor).

Breakfast is an appalling, free for all buffet.

Good job they have a bus stop at the side of the hotel, because you soon get fed up with the long walk to get anywhere like the Old Town.

Stand by for long delays at reception, where you will find out that you have to pay a daily rate for the safe in your room, and that there is no wifi (not even in the lobby) unless you pay for it. And when I say pay for it, I mean per device!

This hotel does not give you a four star experience. Having spoken to some British locals, they say that they have constantly been told by other people staying at this hotel, that it isn't up to much. There are better ones in better locations, so be careful when booking.

We have stayed at The Gran Bali on a number of occasions; however, this was our first visit in June. We felt that the hotel was not up to the usual standard that we had experienced before. The decor in the restaurant was tired and in places dirty. There used to be a dress code for eating in the restaurant in the evening....sadly very much lacking on this occasion. Although our room was acceptable, we found the bathroom had a distinct stale smell. We requested a non-smoking room but clearly the guests before us had been smoking...there was a cigarette butt on the floor of the balcony. Our previous stays had been out of peak season and I can only assume pressure of work was the main cause of the lapse in standards on this occasion.

Very nice inside and out side but it's away from benedorm it's self. Place was so clean,always people cleaning and good fresh smell of disinfectant.
But everything in hotel is extra like gym and spa view point upstairs you can't make Coffey in the room as no facilities, every noise can be herd from the room alway here water running and people talking from other rooms. Good choice off food at the meal times

Inexpensive and clean hotel but nothing special

Stayed here before and I would say it's acceptable. Staff can be a little abrupt but I understand that's normal for Spain. Surprised it's rated as a 4 star hotel considering there are no tea/coffee or ironing facilities in the rooms and our safe looked like it had previously broken into. Buffet restaurants are OK but you pay extra for bottled water and you're not allowed to take your own water in. Plenty of fresh salad and fruit plus the meat / fish choice changes every night. Restaurant staff can appear rude but it could be a cultural difference. Nice pools and reasonably priced drinks at the bar (3 euros a pint). Lifts can sometimes take forever in tower 2 (the highest tower) but the views from the higher rooms are great. If I had paid 4 star prices I would have been disappointed but considering the low price it's quite good value.

Gran Hotel Bali - not that impressive!

We went to Benidorm for a 4 day break. Hotel from the outside looks pretty impressive but we were not that impressed with it. It offers an all inclusive package but we went bed and breakfast. There were a couple of stag parties staying at the hotel and our room was situated right outside the lifts so we heard quite a bit of rowdy noise early into the morning. Residents were walking around with plastic glasses of alcohol, some of which spilled on floors and in the lifts making the floor really sticky!! The pool area was OK but not the best I have seen, the hotel itself is situated a little way out of the old town of Benidorm, although we really enjoyed the walk, it does take around 40 minutes to walk. The promenade is really nice and the old town of Benidorm is absolutely gorgeous!

Lovely hotel but less attitude from some staff

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The only downside would be that some of the staff were quite rude and abrubt but not all of them. The reception staff were great. It would have been better if they spoke more English in the hotel but I suppose we were in their country so maybe i should learn Spanish! The lifts were really slow and very small but that wasnt a major issue. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

Hotel Bali 3 star not 4 !!

This is not a 4 star hotel - 3 at best. Most of the guests were all inclusive stag parties getting drunk around the pool and damaging sun beds.
Old style rooms and everything is extra - Wifi, Gym, even the viewing area at the top of the hotel is extra.

Bali birthday treat

We had a good two days although we had both picked up a 24 hr. bug before we got there and it sort of spoiled it fot us. The hotel itself was very good. Food superb, and the staff were all very helpful. The rooms were very comfortable and nice and warm for December, would definitely go back.

Good value for an excellent well positioned hotel with fantastic views.

The Gran Hotel Bali is between Cala Poniente and Cala Finestrat in Benidorm,
and it is easy to drive straight up to Terra Mitica from there. It has access to 2 excellent beaches within 5 minutes walk, and has fantastic entertainment.
It has 2 restaurants and 2 cafeteria and we ate where the food is served buffet
style, which suited us. There are 2 buildings, one of which is a very high tower,
with fantastic views over Benidorm and down the coast in the other direction.
We think it is good value for money and would not go anywhere else, though have only been on short visits there.

Tallest Hotel in Benidorm

Impressive hotel with breath taking views. Lovely room on the 24th floor. Superb beds and air conditioning system Very dissapointed with the very average quality of the food in the restaurant despite being in Spain. The hotel let itself down terribly because of this; please take note and rectify. We were asked to pay for using the hotel gym????

We were in Benidorm for the Bruce Springsteen concert. Wouldn't go to Benidorm for any other reason. Wouldn't stay at this hotel again if I had to go to Benidorm again. Very loud music from the pool area; very basic room - not four star at all. The breakfast area was like being in an institution - and the food wasn't up to much. Service in the hotel was slack and staff really quite unhelpful. Generally not a place where I would want to spend my time.

Horrible!

Horrible séjour. Le personnel était tout simplement désagréable, aucun sens du service. Dès la première nuit, j’ai dû demander à changer de chambre car des individus s’introduisaient sur mon balcon. Impossible de communiquer correctement avec l’hôtel : personne ne parle français, et le personnel ne fait aucun effort.
Après plusieurs plaintes, on m’a enfin changé de chambre. Le petit déjeuner ? Immense en apparence, mais très peu de choix et un goût vraiment médiocre.
Les ascenseurs sont une catastrophe : interminables à monter ou descendre, et il y a énormément de bruit dans l’hôtel, jour et nuit.
Franchement, cet hôtel a complètement gâché mes vacances. Si vous tenez à passer un bon séjour, fuyez. C’est une vraie arnaque.

Esperaba algo mucho mejor para ser un hotel de cuatro estrellas,el desayuno muy biueno pero la comida y cena mediocre,no hay mucho donde elegir, la falta de personal en los servicios de comida y cena,lo que no entiendo es que tenga cucharillas de plástico, pará un hotel de esta categoría.
Respecto a las instalaciones están están un poco obdoletas ,las habitaciones.

Vue, magnifique, mais chambre très vieille

Personnel, accueillant et très sympathique, et à l’écoute, les chambres sont très vieillotte, un gros rafraîchissement est nécessaire, les salles de bain également.
Sinon vu depuis la chambre magnifique sur la plage, nous étions au 41e étage.
Demi-pension pas assez de choix et qualité moyenne.

Hotelli sijaitsee kivalla rauhallisella alueella, mutta huoneeseen kaikui musiikki pitkin yötä ilmeisesti hotellin ravintolasta, mikä vaikeutti nukkumista. Huone oli hieman kulunut mutta siisti.

Plussaa monipuolisesta aamupalasta. Keittiöhenkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja sain kysymällä gluteenittomia tuotteita: lämmitettyä leipää ja erilaisia keksejä, gracias!

Nos ha gustado pero necesita una renovación en las habitaciones. Las camas son MUY pequeñas, por no decir que de forma natural te asignan camas separadas aunque reserves con tu mujer.
Para la ducha un sobre con jabón, no hay jabón en la ducha de recarga.
El aislamiento entre habitaciones es mínimo, escuchábamos todas las conversaciones de la habitación de al lado.
La limpieza excelente y personal muy amable.

Llegamos a las 7 de la mañana y quien estaba en recepción ni se levantó. Nos dijo que el cheking a las 9 y media. Llegamos y nos dicen que esperemos a las 10 y luego nos dijeron que a las 12. Buffet normal y los vasos para los zumos del desayuno protestó mucha gente por lo sucios que estaban. Las habitaciones podrían renovarlas

45 Minuten in Schlagen zum Einchecken gestanden. 10 Minuten noch mal zum Einchecken. Maulige Herren an der Rezeption und im Cafe. Frühstücksbüfett zu wenig Toaster. Sonst gibt es nichts zu bemängeln. Ausreichend Fahrstühle, Reinigungsservice optimal, Zimmer sauber.....
Leider spricht keiner Deutsch.
