It’s in small town, but has all you need including its own restaurant. Staffs are very friendly and professional. Room is big enough for two people and beds are very comfortable. We both enjoyed very much

The staff, the amazing breakfast, and the comfortable beds rate five stars. However, other than the dining room, the hotel has no personality; is unattractive, and is set among the industrial part of Otta. Otta has litte to offer for restaurants, so finding a decent dinner option was difficult. We opted for the supermarket. Dinner at the hotel seemed like an expensive gamble, but based upon the hotels amazing breakfast, this might have been a wiser choice.

Parking was a problem, so I had to park 2 blocks away and haul my luggage to check in (and the same for checkout). No A/C or fans, and poor room ventilation, so the room was very hot at night. Very uncomfortable. Otherwise the room was fine, if basic.

After checking in we asked the front desk staff to help us with an unusual request and he didn’t hesitate to help us! He was fantastic! Then when checking out, I had multiple questions regarding the fjords, and she answered all of my questions and even looked things up on the computer for me. The bed was very uncomfortable. I haven’t slept that poorly in a long time. And the sheets and pillow cases don’t have very soft fabric on at all. The room is small but fine for just a pit stop. The room was oddly very noisy from early in the morning, both from the street outside and from the cleaning staff. The floor also seemed to have a layer of grime to it, though the room itself seemed fairly clean. It was very pricy given the small and noisy room.

One short night in Otta
Check-in was pleasant and efficient. The room was spacious and comfortable. The shower was decent and the towels were thick and fluffy. Dispenser hand soap and all-in-one in the shower which I believe is standards in Scandinavian countries. There were hardly any outlets in the room, none by either of the nightstands. The room was neat and appeared clean with the exception of rose petals under one of the beds leading me to believe the room had not been thoroughly vacuumed. I had a 5:49 train to catch so I was unable to have any breakfast. At least there was a coffee machine in the lobby so I was able to grab some on my way out. It was good coffee!

Front desk clerk not friendly upon check in. Dinner included in room:. salad bar was good, entrees and vegetables not of good quality, desserts not good. Waitress was rude! Seemed like she hated her job. There was one excellent wait staff, Mari. She was in bar area and seemed to be assisting with the kitchen. She did not wait on us, but was very kind and helpful when I asked for her assistance. There was a huge bus tour group and it appears that the hotel makes a dinner buffet to suit large crowds. The dinner was overpriced and poor value. The room was okay, average comfort. Upon check out, Jannicka at front desk was sweet and friendly. We would not recommend this hotel. Thon was a thorn in our side.

We drove from Olso and decided stop for the night in Otta. It was nice arrive to a clean and comfortable room. The restaurant served a great dinner that and breakfast the next morning was fantastic. The hotel even packed a lunch as we were would be driving most of the day.

I know we didn't pay much, but this was a little rough. It is near the train, and near the small city and walking to food, but the room was pretty old. It wasn't dirty, but it felt dirty. Cots for beds. 2 single beds. Bathroom was old and not kept up. It was nice for them to offer us internet service for free. Seemed to have a nice buffet which we didn't take part in. Seems like a one-night stop in betweeen tourist groups.

Butikker i nærheten er ok, trening er et helt annet sted, personalet generelt var ikke veldig serviceinnstilt og hyggelig. Jeg har ca 180 overnattingsdøgn i året og utfra inntrykket på Otta vil jeg gi hotellet 4/10 fordi jeg verdsetter hyggelig betjening som sier Hei når du sier Hei og gir et inntrykk av at du er verdsatt som kunde, ikke \"enda en\" som er innom.

We had booked a family room for 5 but they didn’t have such a room and gave us instead two adjacent rooms which was also nice. The breakfast was superb

Vi stannade en natt för fortsatt resa i Norge. En bra och fint hotell, det enda ja kan klaga på att det inte fanns någon av på rummet som verka fungera så det var väldigt varmt under natten. Annars en bra hotell.

Enkelt og sentralt hotell til Rondane. Restaurant og resepsjonsområde var pent oppgradert, men rommene var triste og på ingen måte koselige. Teppet på rommet var bleket, gardinen grisete med røyk-ødelagte hull. Sengene var gode og badet var fint.
