The location was good. Hotel is old and needs updating. The grounds are not well maintained. High grass, lots of dead leaves near the entrance and no pruning to trees.
Staff at front desk were not welcoming or engaging.
Breakfast was just OK.

The Lodge is located very near the fairgrounds and very close to the restaurant mentioned in the description of the Lodge. We parked our car and did not use it until we left. The Lodge has a beautiful setting to sit and watch the variety of boats and water \"toys\" I on the lake. Be prepared to find a breakfast place; the \"free\" breakfast has good coffee. If we come to another event at the fairgrounds we will book at the lodge.

The room was okay. The mattress was very hard and lumpy. The tub was impossible for a bath(much too narrow), but reasonable for a shower. The facial tissue dispenser was empty. Breakfast was nice, well served, but crowded.

Room was spacious and clean. The bed was a little too firm but the view made up for it! Awesome view of mountains and lake from our balcony, which also had chairs and a table for relaxing and enjoying the view. There were also lounging areas inside and outside of the hotel. Hotel was walkable to a restaurant and the fairgrounds. And within a couple miles to shopping and other restaurants. Beautiful area!!

Dated hotel - nothing fancy. Breakfast: A lot of pre-packaged breakfast items, no fresh breads or bagels, I didn't see yogurt/fresh fruit, a few typical warm food items (eggs/a meat/french toast slices) offered. Good coffee. Room: good air-conditioning, but pillow stuffing all balled up inside every pillow provided, bed bumpy and uncomfortable. Patio door falling apart/curtain draws need fixing. Staff not typically engaging with people at front desk or during breakfast. Check-in: Two staff at check-in, and only one of the staff chatting with two ladies at the counter for a long time as 1, then 3 people start lining up - all waiting patiently to check in - I expected the one staff not engaging in conversation would take the initiative to start helping the next person in line. I do not plan to stay here again.

This is an older hotel, and it shows in some of the building features. Overall, the property is well-maintained but definitely needs a facelift. Our room had loose molding and missing grout in the bathroom, and what looked like some mold from moisture; there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom. The a/c in the room worked really well, so staying comfortable was not an issue.

The breakfast is nothing special, but it isn't awful, just basic at best. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Adding a waffle station would kick it up a notch.

The star of the show for this hotel is the location and view from the lake-facing rooms. If I find myself in the area again, I would not hesitate to stay at this location.

We have been staying here for a couple of years for business, but this was the last time. If there is an event going on locally it is just too noisy. There is not enough insulation or sound barriers between rooms and doors.
We were awakened by rude guest talking and slamming doors after midnight and children running up and down the hall. Not to mention we had to pay roughly 65.00 more than usual.

Breakfast is cold and mostly white carbs. I really don’t expect much from any “free’ hotel breakfast. Hotel was quiet and very clean. Room was comfortable and well -appointed. My only suggestion would be to add a safety rod/railing in the walk-in shower. Staff were friendly and quickly responded to requests. I highly recommend this

This hotel is older and could benefit from some updates and freshening up of paint etc. Fresh fruit and packaged breakfast items are available on weekdays and hot breakfast on weekends.

There were great lake views from several vistas on the property. The front desk clerk was very helpful and informative. The botanical garden near the property was a wonderful find as well.
If ever in the area again we will retun.

Sadly, I cannot recommend. We checked in and discovered a good amount of bright pink hairs on the shower wall and the toilet was questionably clean. I showed the front desk guy with a mustache who showed zero care about the situation and offered us a room change. I declined and he still charged me $1 for laundry soap. Its clear guest recovery skills were not taught and it feels like Im just a dollar sign.

Older place with worn furniture. One bed was saggy in the middle and both made unusual noise when getting in and out. Wallpaper behind toilet was coming off to to mold under it. Toilet was way to low to the ground snd small. Very disappointed in the cold breakfast as the info on hotels.com stated “rated best breakfast “ nothing healthy except a 4 apples and one orange.

Rooms are a little dated, but everything was clean. The extra sitting area in the 2nd floor and bottom floor was nice with the fireplace, couches, and place for games that were provided with a view of the lake from this area. I liked that they had hot chocolate and coffee available all day. Breakfast had some hot items, fruit, yogurt, cereals, grits, an excellent selection of prepackaged cakes/pastries, and oatmeal, Gluten free items also available.

This place is a hidden gem amongst a beautiful backdrop. The lodge was incredibly clean with so many comfortable spaces to enjoy views from. The location is convenient to food, shopping and entertainment.
We barely left the lodge because it was so warm and cozy we didn’t want to leave!
The staff is super friendly and the breakfast offers so much variety!
We loved our stay and will book again next Time.

The lodge lobby is very beautiful. The continental breakfast included more options than your typical continental breakfast. The staff wasn't rude but was super friendly.
