Poor communication from hotel

Whilst a nice hotel, we arrived to find a huge festival right next to the hotel which continued until after midnight with very loud music & the bass being felt in the room. We couldn’t change room as the hotel was fully booked & so our window overlooked the loud concert. This clearly impacted our sleep. Why the hotel did not think to inform guests of this I am unsure. Photo from our room below.
They also failed to tell us that the roads leading to the hotel had barriers in place to stop us driving to the hotel. We had to leave the car & walk to the hotel to find out how to access it. The answer from reception was to just drive around the barriers on the wrong side of the road.
Overall a restless night & lack of communication from the hotel.

Jak na hotel 4* - trochę słaba jakość wyposażenia, pora na remont pokoi. Klimatyzacja działa. Czajnik w pokoju. Śniadania dość dobre, ostatnio poprawiły się i są coraz lepsze. Mało dobrych dań na gorąco. Bezpłatny parking.

Comfort and everything you need.

This is an excellent choice for travellers passing by. The hotel has everything you need: a good restaurant, friendly and helpful staff. I must say I had no time to get around in Marijampole so I cannot say much about it, except that the park near the hotel is beautiful and quiet. This was my third stay in this Mercure and I would choose it again when traveling this route.

N efficient stay

This will have been the second time i have stayed at the Mercure Marijampole. As before, the staff was courteous and helpful, ensuring that all needs were met. Check in and check out were simple and efficient. The rooms were clean and tidy, very much worth the price. I would gladly stay here again.

This is a very comfortable hotel in the centre of Marijampole. There's a great choice of breakfast items and the restaurant, Pizza jazz, is certainly worth trying for dinner. Staff are very competent and helpful.

Ideal choice for a short stay travelling across Lithuania. Comfortable, clean, efficient and helpful staff, good value for money. Bed was comfortable, room well-appointed, lots of plug points, speedy WiFI, good dinner portions in restaurant and decent drink selection and all for a good price. Can’t speak for the location viz downtown Marijampole as I just stopped off for the night then left by car the following morning. Good choice for my needs on this trip

Only \"Game\" in Town for 4-Star Accomodations!

A nice hotel centrally located within the town centre. Excellent restaurants surround this hotel and it has a decent full breakfast buffet (though the egg \"omlets\" are similar to those found in other Baltic Hotels and could use improvement). Excellent service from staff to include hooking up a hotel laptop and printing off documents (since no business center computer available).

More than expected

More than expected. As i was recently ( last week) in Rome and stayed at Hilton airport hotel, could say it was comparable. Was surprised to be in such small town with such service.

Mercure marijampole. Lovely hotel.

One night stay in marijampole.

Lovely hotel in great condition. Had a single room which was very pleasant with a great view out the window.

Hotel bar very nice with great pleasant staff. Location good a ten minute walk to the bus and train stations.

For the price paid very satisfied would recommend to anyone staying in marijampole.

Best in town

I stay in this hotel already during 7 years and it has always been of excellent standard. I think if you do not know why to come to Marijampole just come because of this hotel. It has amazing spa, where you can relax after busy day or trip, good gym, spacious rooms and best pizza in Marijampole, maybe even in whole Lithuania. Restaurant offers reach variety of different meals and wines. You will definitely will find something which will impress you. When I think about this hotel then only with good memories and feelings.

Pleasant staff in a comfortable hotel.

After driving in heavy rain all day, we had a very relaxing and pleasan stay in this hotel. All the staff were happy to assist and the ribs in the dining room were excellent.

Nice hotel, would dine elsewhere.

Comfortable and clean room. Great location. Very nice and accomodating staff at check in. Restaurant was slow for service. Children were running all around in the restaurant and lobby during dinner. It was very unpleasant.

Hotel 1st class, spoilt by a noisy environment

A repeat visit for the grandsons' christening. A little dissappointed this visit - parents room above air conditioning of hotel so very annoying \"hum\" even with windows closed. Also the Sat. evening had a private party and restaurant was unbelievably noisy and any discussion was impossible due to jazz and turntable entertainment. In addition some motorcycle stunt antics were being filmed outside until late and again not what one expects so late in the evening.

But all said and done this is a review of the hotel so 9 out of 10 ;-))

Amazing value

For the price I was not expecting much. Having stayed at many hotels in this price bracket on a trip driving across Europe, this is by far the best. Friendly and helpful staff, great food in the restaurant, clean rooms and comfortable beds and free high sped wifi. With an excellent free breakfast included we could not have asked for more. A perfect stay and a 5 star rating from me.

No better place to stay than this when in the area.
Excellent value; central location (near park), on site parking, room, facilities, breakfast, staff & service - all 100%. Been before, now again and shall return as we visit family near Marijampole on a regular basis.

The room is okay, I had 3 nights at the hotel, it was very cold and they have problems with the heating in the Pizzajazz restaurant, but all in all okay. I have spend many nights at this hotel over the last 15 years, and breakfast have always been included, now price is 12 EUR, but because there was very few guest, I could see that they use the same cheese, egg etc. all 3 mornings where we stay there, very small assortment, and very cold room, and limit smile from the staff:-) Can you stay at Mercure YES, but service isn´t good anymore compare 10 years ago.

Korkeintaan kohtalainen hotelli hyvän hotellin hinnalla. Respan henkilökunta ei ollut kovin asiakaspalveluhenkistä. Aamupala voisi olla laajempi. Sängyt jo niin kuluneita, että viettivät keskelle sänkyä. Vaikka olimme kylpylähotellissa, emme kylpylään päässeet koko viikonlopun aikana. Jatkossa valitsen eri majoituksen.

A bit dissapointed. Staff turned off the lights in the restaurant when the bar closed. about 17 people suddenly sat there pitch dark. alot of people where angry. we bought beer 5 mins earlier

Fint hotel, god service. Pænt og rent overalt. Store værelser, meget pænere end på billederne.

Na jedną noc w podróży służbowej Ok

Pokój typu Superior .Śniadanie dobre (nawet bardzo dobre), może bez jakiegoś szału, ale w czasach koronawirusa powyżej średniej. Słaby zasięg wifi szyfrowanego (rogowy-zewewnętrzny pokój) - byłą dodatkowo dostępna sieć otwarta z lepszym zasięgiem. Trochę duszno w pokoju, klimatyzacja jakby nie dawała rady. Łózka wygodne. Mimo bliskości do granicy Polski brakowało w TV programów polskojęzycznych. Cena przyzwoita.

Trevligt, något sterilt hotell med mycket god mat i restaurangen PJazz. Spa kostar 15 Euro/2 timmar vilket kändes överprisat. Frukosten hade mer att önska.

Good old classic

Still great hotel where is always good to be back. Same best pizza in Lithuania at their restaurant, great tuna steak. Spa is still one of my favorites around the world. Breakfast could be better this time, pancakes were dry and cappuccino from machine was horrible, could not even finish it. Good to see same people at reception, who still remember you.

Nie wieder

Angefangen vom chaotischen Parkplatz, nicht funktionierender Schlüsselkarte, nicht funktionierenden Rufknöpfen am Fahrstuhl und nicht besetzter Rezeption (auch aufs Klingeln reagierte niemand) war das Frühstück auch noch ein Reinfall. Die Tische wurden nicht abgeräumt und nichts wurde wieder aufgefüllt. Nachdem wir eine Stunde aufs Brot gewartet hatten, haben wir uns eines beim Lidl gekauft. Danach haben wir nach Wurst, Käse usw. gefragt, da dieses weiterhin fehlte. Die Servicemitarbeiterin sagte, wir sollten noch warten, die Küche sei noch nicht so weit. Nach ca. 2 Stunden hatten wir endlich gefrühstückt und konnten das schlechteste Mercure Hotel, in dem wir je waren, verlassen.
