For Jinan city, this is a very good hotel and convenient as it is very near to train station. Only thing is they will keep asking you to come down to TOP up the advance payment instead of accumulating to the bill for you to pay at the check out.

Great place to stay close to Jinan West train S.

I arrived late. Quick check-in. I was upgraded without asking. The room was pristine and beautiful. I was able to get a late in-room service with very decent food. Definitely a lot of efforts in details (different types of pillows, etc..)
Only downside: there is nothing around. So great if you are arriving/departing from Jinan west train station (rail service in China is top notch to go to Beijing or Shanghai -much faster than doing inland flights), but don't use the place as a base for tourism.

Business trip, meeting manufacturer. It was great experience overall. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The hotel was clean, beautiful, meticulous. Its a minute from the train station. 30 min from airport by taxi. First hotel the ac did not work, they were quick to try and fix it, eventually they asked to move me to another room. Great experience overall with them. I would stay again!!

Enjoyed my stay at Melia Jinan. Room was clean and comfortable. Service was good and they called to enquire if I was comfortable with the room or need anything. Location was quiet at night. The close proximity to the Jinan West train station was a plus.

This is a new hotel so still many teething problems and issues with fixtures and fittings which need to be addressed by the hotel staff.
The hotel is very far from Jinan so unless you need to be by the train station the location is not good.

Excellent value for your money

The Melia in Jinan was an excellent hotel with very reasonable rates.

Great value for the price and an extensive breakfast buffet. I would recommend paying the room rate including the breakfast.

The hotel is within a couple minutes walking distance from the West Rail Station.

Relatively new hotel in a brand new development area (Jinan West), which is still being developed.
Great location if you are getting in/out via Jinan West railway station.
Only caveat is that there are no decent restaurants or eating places nearby currently.
Saving grace was that the hotel buffet was well priced and offered a great variety.

Very convenient location if arriving through Jinan West train station. Peter at the front desk was very helpful upon arrival. Rooms were very nice and well kept. The neighbourhood is very undeveloped and not much within walking distance.

This hotel is only about 6 months old when we stayed. Through Hotels.com I reserved a non-smoking king size bed and a non-smoking twin size bed. When I checked in and went into the room, I could smell cigarette smell and I asked the bell boy that I have booked a non-smoking room. He said that all of the rooms are smoking. I couldn't believe it. In addition, it might not be a good idea if you are staying with your friends and need privacy in the toilet. This is because there is no curtain or nothing that covers the glass that separates the bedroom and the toilet.I could see right through the toilet when I sat down on the bed. Total disappointment for such rating. 41/2 stars? I think it is too much.

Was a great hotel at a great price and a great location it's a 200 feet from the jinan west railway which made it easy to get back to when taking taxi
The hotel is in a part of jinan being developed so it very quiet
The trains are the bullet trains so there very quiet and only run till 7pm

Todo excelente, pero tuve un inconveniente muy importante. La dirección que aparece en Expedia me llevó a otro lugar totalmente diferente. Estuve buscando en los alrededores de ese sitio y están edificios en construcción. Para peores, estaba lloviendo y nos mojamos
Gracias al taxista que nos llevó, y como 1 hora después de no saber que hacer, buscó, envontro el hotel y nos llevó de gratis.
Esto deberían corregirlo de inmediato. Está situada a muy poca distancia della estacion oeste del tren.
Si duda, por lo demás. Me volvería a hospedar allí.

キングベッドで予約確定していたのに、チェックインの時にキングベッドの部屋は空きが無いと言われ、ツインのベッド幅が狭い部屋に通された。
予約票にキングベッドと書いてあるのは、フロントの人も確認したにもかかわらず、空きの部屋は無いと言われた。
エクスペディアは予約確定時にリコンファームがいらないと書いてあるが、その通りでは無いと思った。
