Loved this place. Very peaceful. Well appointed family rooms, with everything we needed for a one night stay. Communal areas were great. Nice friendly staff. We did our own drive in the grounds and saw plenty of wildlife. Will definitely come back but stay in the Mountain Lodge next time.

Our visit got of to a very poor start when the lodge were only expecting us for one night's bed and breakfast, but we had paid Expedia for two night's half-board. The reception staff eventually accepted our voucher for two nights, but the reception manager told us we would have to pay for dinner. It was only after dinner on our second night, when we spoke to Schalk Mueller, the lodge manager, that everything was resolved to our satisfaction. This somewhat spoiled our stay, however it would not put me off returning.

La colazione non includeva il cappuccino che abbiamo dovuto pagare a parte nonostante giá la colazione a buffet avesse un costo importante e non fosse incluso mentre per servizi di massaggio e giro a cavallo se non si prenota prima non c’è abbastanza disponibilità. Il posto ha comunque molte potenziali! Occhio che le tasse sono sempre escluse dai prezzi che vedete e sono piuttosto alte

Dies war die enttäuschendste Unterkunft auf unserer dreiwöchigen Namibia-Reise. Zwar kamen wir spät an, aber man hätte uns schon noch fragen können ob wir noch am Game Drive teilnehmen wollen. Das Zimmer war schmutzig und am Moskito-Nest befand sich eine grosse Anzahl an Moskitos. Es musste erst einmal gesprüht werden. Beim Dinner gab es nur ein Menu und man zeigte keine Flexibilität. Für einen trockenen Salat sollten wir schliesslich den vollen Preis bezahlen. Leider waren auch zwei grosse Reisegruppen anwesend, die eine unwillkommene Stimmung hinterliessen. Bei Frühstück sollte man für einen Cappuccino extra bezahlen. Dafür gab es die Stimmung wieder kostenlos. Nichts wie weg, dachten wir uns. Wir kommen nicht wieder.

We spent 2 awesome days in this little heaven. The interior design of the house is very tasteful with lovely details, wonderful outdoor sitting areas, a lovely little garden and all comes with a spectacular view and perfect hosts!

Das Abendessen war dann ein Highlight. Ein wunderschön dekorierter Tisch(wie sonst nirgends), ein superfeines Essen und eine äussert nette Bedienung erwartete uns.
Diese Lodge ist für uns eine der schönsten Aufenthalte in Namibia.
Wir kommen das nächste Mal bestimmt wieder; und dann für zwei Nächte.

In die Jahre gekommen
Ein idyllisch gelegenes Areal. Besuch war außerhalb der Saison, daher waren überall Instandsetzungsarbeiten zu beobachten.Die Chalets sind funktional eingerichtet. Es ist eigentlich alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Nur beim Besteck hapert es etwas. Ich denke auf Nachfrage Hatte man die fehlenden Teile bestimmt erhalten. Unser Aufenthalt war nur kurz, daher hatte es sich nicht gelohnt. Das Bad ist Renovierungsbedürftig, so auch einige ander Bereiche auch. Wie zuvor beschrieben, die Leute waren gerade dabei alles ordentlich wieder herzurichten. Der Service ist hervorragend, so auch das angebotene Essen. Auch die Gamedrives sind ordentlich, die Ranger bemühen sich sehr es allen recht zu machen. Alles in allem eine schöne und empfehlenswerte Anlage.

Das Gelände der Farm ist wunderschön, Tiere hat es einige, darunter 16 Nashörner. Unser Chalet hatte eine etwas abgenutzte Einrichtung und war nicht sehr sauber gereinigt. Das Essen war gut, das Personal sehr freundlich.

Schöne Lodge mit zwei Wasserlöchern
Uns war gar nicht bewusst, dass wir ein Chalet mit 2 Schlafzimmern und 4 Betten und Küche online gebucht hatten. Dafür war der Preis sehr fair. Der Zustand der Chalets zeigt Abnutzungsspuren, aber alles war sauber. Betten sehr gut. Service bei den Mahlzeiten war so Lala, deshalb dafür nur 4 Punkte. essen war gut.
