The essence of our very special Mountain Lodge is in its location – secluded within the Waterberg mountain range – offering true exclusivity. This is a lodge in harmony with nature, fully solar-powered, and with a Scandi-style architectural simplicity that seamlessly blends it into the environment.
Your Eco Suite (one of just five) is simple and sophisticated. Even its design elements, from stripped-back wood furnishings to the stone colour palette, have taken their cue from nature.
The main lodge provides more social spaces to unwind, which open onto a setting renowned for its mesmerising scenery and flourishing wildlife. You'll find an open-plan dining and lounge area, expansive viewing deck, firepit lounge hosting nighttime gatherings under the stars, and an infinity Rock Pool that seems to skim off into Waterfall Valley below.
When you stay at Marataba Safari Lodge in Lephalale, you'll be in a national park, just steps from Marakele National Park and Waterberg Biosphere Reserve. This family-friendly lodge is 5.5 mi (8.8 km) from Marataba Entrance Gate and 27.7 mi (44.6 km) from Thaba Mall.
