Superb location (shortest walk possible from the plaza/port) with exceptional! staff! Polite, caring, cheerful, and accommodating! My room was on the corner on the 2nd floor and l had ocean views both from the window and the balcony (3rd floor is probably even better). 3-nights cost me $160 so it was a fair deal. Be mindful though that this is a small hotel. The rooms are modest with basic amenities. Bring your shower gel and soap. Also, paper towels especially if you plan to use the kitchenette. There are many steps so this is not the right place for those with mobility issues. The rooms are available year round when everything else is closed; that’s important for those traveling off-season. Overall, l’d go back and recommend the place especially for short stays to explore the island.

Right from stepping off the ferry Andreas was there with a great welcome although I was early for booking in it was no problem, in his car and I think a couple of corners I was there Everything about the room was explained in detail obviously a man of many languages, I had a great time and would be more than happy to recommend such a great host a lovely place , nothing is any trouble for Andreas .

We were in an annexe- Olympus Studios. Quiet, very clean, everything in working order and very central. The beds were comfortable. Andreas met us at the boat having emailed in advance to check our arrival time. He was very helpful and friendly.
I had not checked the number of steps involved in accessing our apartment ( 24) which I found a lot in the heat. A lesson for next year!

This is a tough review to write. A mix of good and bad. We didn't get off to a great start. We and 2 other couples arrived by ferry. walked to the property, and then waited about 40 mins to check in and weren't offered air conditioned room or a cold drink while we waited. the owner had something else (private) he needed to do, and it didn't occur to him to leave keys or instructions for us.
Once we eventually checked in, he tried hard to be helpful. One of the reasons we booked was because it had a washing machine in the room. (unfortunately not allowed to use it). owner did do washing for us, but not very convenient. he tried to make amends. rubbish collected daily, but they did leave doors and windows unlocked.
The location to the port/restuarants/beach is superb, and supermarkets and bakery very close. A great place to stay if the owner is having a good day.

We had a fabulous stay at Apollo Studios. Andreas was a terrific host who did everything possible to make us happy and comfy. He even replaced the tv when the remote wouldn’t work! Highly recommended.

We really wanted to love this place and had high expectations. Unfortunately, we didn’t have a very pleasant experience at first. The owner made a mistake and had double booked our room so had to put us in a subpar hotel far away (with no view, a broken AC, and no washing machine - all things we had paid for). What is worst is that there wasn’t much explanation to anything that day, he just took our bags and left us at the hotel as if it wasn’t a big deal. This also broke up our trip since we had to check out and then check in again the following day. All of this would have been okay if he would have comp us the night or in some way made up for it monetarily but that didn’t happen (he even accepted from us the $10 fee to do laundry). The room (once we were able to get it) was nice and and had great views. He also gave us a bottle of wine and apologized the next day, but honestly that wasn’t enough for us to make up for the hassle...

Fantastic location, just 50 metres from the harbour, 10 metres from the village square and a short walk to the town beach. The studios are immaculate, have modern furnishings, new kitchen and shower-room equipment and the owners are just lovely! They even met us at the boat (and this after I'd sent a message advising our arrival details a good 3 months earlier). An added bonus is the communal roof terrace - perfect spot to round off a day on the beach.

This is the cleanest hotel in the world. The owners are warm and welcoming and seem to spend all day cleaning and checking if everything is ok. My room had a nice view. I was welcome to keep my room most of the day on day of departure at no extra charge. Would definitely choose this hotel again if retuning to Tilos.

Vi blev hämtade vi båten av Andreas som driver hotellet. Då vi kom fram fick vi välja vilket rum vi ville ha, vi valde rum nr 6 med en enormt stor balkong. Det fanns vattenflaskor, vinflaskor, öl mm. på rummet till samma pris som i minimarket vilket var otroligt skönt bara att välja och slippa bära hem tunga flaskor. Fint, välstädat och mysigt. Andreas och hans fru Irina var så gästvänliga och hjälpte till med allt vi ville veta och kunde svara på alla våra frågor om Tilos . Kuddarna och sängarna var bland de bästa vi någonsin sovit i Grekland, inte för hårda ej heller för mjuka. Wi-fi fungerade perfekt.

Fantastic service and a great hotel. Close to everything. The hosts provide examples of good and interesting walks of varying difficulty. A typical destination if one will come away from the noisy beaches with annoying sales people and just enjoy the \"Greek\" summer holiday.

Fantastisk Studio med super service!
Ett av de bästa hotellen på länge! Nyrenoverat (2011 om jag inte minns fel), med sober men clean karaktär. Hotellet drivs av två unga personer i 30 års åldern som ständigt strävar efter att utveckla deras studios! Bara när vi var där anlände nya solstolar och kaffemaskiner, allt för att ständigt hålla en hög nivå. Mysig stämning var det dessutom. Rekommenderas varmt!

Fantastisk oppphold på Tilos og Appollo Studios!.Vi ble møt av Andreas ved havna som tok oss med bilen til hotellet selv om det ligger bare 150 meter unna. Hotellet ligger sentralt i \"byen\" med kort vei til alt - også stranden - og med sjøutsikt over noen tak. Vi bodde første natten på et fint men relativt lite rom men ble dagen etter oppgradert til et fantastisk \"studio\" - nærmest en bolig med alle fasiliteter og med terrase på begge sider. Alt var tipp topp og rent takket være Irina's og Andreas' utrettelige innsats for å holde alt rent og i orden. Anbefaler varmt å bo her ! Efcharisto poli Andreas and Irina.

Vi hade några mycket bra dagar på detta hotell. Nära till restauranger och affärer. Runt hörnet ligger även ett bageri som vi köpte bröd ifrån varje morgon. Hotellet ligger ett stenkast från stranden. Längs stranden går en strandpromenad och trots att stranden ligger alldeles intill byn och hamnen är vattnet kristallklart. Lägenheten innehöll ett pentry och var utrustad med ett kylskåp och en liten spis. Bästa rekommendationer för detta lägenhetshotell.

Apollo studios är ett mycket bra boendealternativ på Tilos. Nära till det mesta. Fräscht och rent och dessutom helt nyrenoverat.
Värden Andreas är dessutom mycket trevlig och tillmötesgående på alla sätt.
