Brevent access is a quick walk, there are many bus stations a very short walk from the hotel to access other ski areas. The rooms are a good size, the sauna is a great bonus as well as the ski room with boot dryers! Staff was excellent in recommending places to ski based on the conditions. Would highly recommend.

Across from the Brevent ski lift. The staff and owners are excellent. Hot tub and sauna are very well maintained. You have them privately with reservations. There is a bar in the lobby and the apres ski on the deck is wonderful. Close to the downtown area. Bus stop is right outside of hotel. There is a boot drying room and ski room on the lower level. Breakfast in the morning for a fee but worth it if you are skiing rigjt away in the morning.Family owned and an absolute delight.

Ok place. I got in late 1:30 am so they texted me the code to get in the front door and left my key on the counter. But no instructions on where the room was. I'm telling you it was like a maze in there- I walked around for 15 minutes looking. Finally found my room but the person in the next room

Hôtel La Sapinière was fantastic. Firstly the rooms and balconies were excellent and the views were amazing. Its a short and easy walk into town but ifs far enough out to be very peaceful. The breakfast was tasty, especially the pastries, and the bar area was lovely with a good selection of drinks at reasonable prices. Finally the staff were so helpful and friendly helping with transport options and excursion ideas. Do not hesitate to book Hôtel La Sapinière!

Amazing stay. Away from the hustle of the town nestled in a calm and serene neighbourhood. But still only 10 mts walk to the centre. Beautiful view of the mountains and a very good bar for drinks and relaxation.

Charming family owned hotel, staff and owners provided exceptional service, breakfast outstanding and views not to be matched! However, room was small and shower/tub slippery and difficult to get into and out of with no grab bars. Also, no shuttle provided to/from rail station but there is a bus that stops across the street.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sapiniere the room wes comfortable with great views and a lovely balcony which we enjoyed.
The staff were always polite and nothing was to much trouble.
We will not hesitate to stay here on our return to Chamonix.

My partner and I came for a ski trip and this was the perfect place for our stay! Staff were very friendly and personable. They gave us the best restaurant and ski spot recommendations. Plus a nutritious/delicious breakfast to fuel our day. We could walk everywhere into town and had the best views of Chamonix/Mont-Blanc. Will definitely stay here again!

The staff was amazing and accommodated any request that I had. The location of the hotel was perfect for getting around in Chamonix. The hotel was old but very clean and very comfortable. I would return or recommend this hotel to my family and friends. Well worth the cost!

The rooms could use some love though- our room had a bunch of dust left behind the door when we walked in, and it was so hot that we had to sleep with the balcony doors fully open each night due to the lack of A/C. However, outdoor area, proximity to town, and views are wonderful, and the breakfast area is great. Overall solid 3/5.

I highly recommend this hotel! The staff was very kind and helpful, the breakfast buffet is high quality, and I found the room very sweet and comfortable. I give the place 5 stars overall, but I would provide just a couple small suggestions to the management:
It isn't their policy to have mini fridges in the rooms, and while I'm sure there is a good, perhaps environmental, reason for this, it's really inconvenient even if you just want to keep your chocolate or drinks cold. They ask that you don't bring in takeaway food and I also found this tough as a solo traveler who doesn't really like dining alone in busy restaurants all the time. Apart from the breakfast, they do not have a restaurant. I'd also like to suggest a slightly heavier touch with cleaning the room on days other than check in. To be clear, the room was very clean upon arrival--no complaints. I just wished the bathroom countertops and the shower seemed to get a clean surface wipe down. Water remained in the shower from when I used it, and the counter had little rings and water spots from my daily use. It would be nice to have decaf tea available in the room, but I'd like to thank the staff member who provided me some from the bar when I asked.

La Sapiniere was wonderful. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our room had a balcony that looked out over Chamonix and directly at Mont Blanc and the Aiguille du Midi, and a 5 minute walk to the town square. All day, paragliders landed right in front of the hotel - thrilling. We had no problem getting a parking spot each night. Highly recommend!

It is a very nice family run hotel. The food was great and their staff very attentive and friendly. It is very clean and well maintained. Very convenient and Walkable to the city center.

Myself and my husband recently spent a week at this hotel and loved it. The staff were friendly and the view from our room/balcony of Mont Blanc was stunning. The hotel is fairly close to town (5/10 min walk) and lovely and quiet with a large grassy area in front with free car parking at the hotel as well. It is also close to the trails/cable cars for running or hiking the mountains. There is also a lovely river walk close by if you want something a bit flatter. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Amazing stay!
We had an amazing stay here! Location is perfect and it is such a treat watching the paragliders land outside the room terraces. The breakfast and service at the bar are two other amazing perks that make this hotel a gem. Would highly recommend!

Very easy access to the ski bus and close to town but quiet. Lovely sauna and friendly staff. It's a family lodge and the owners and staff were very helpful in suggesting best areas for us to aki on different days.

We enjoyed our stay and hope to come back. The only issue was that the Wi-Fi does not work for whatsapp in our phones. The staff informed us that this may happen if you have Iphone. Other than that the wifi was working good.

Quaint family run hotel with good location
Terrific older hotel in a nice location near downtown Chamonix. Owners and staff were very friendly and helpful when asked questions about restaurant reservations, skiing ideas, etc. If there is enough snow you can walk across the street and cross a small park on your skis, grab a short poma lift then do a short walk down to the Brevent Cable car. Alternatively, there are bus stops right outside the hotel where you can catch buses to various other parts of town. There are a few nearby restaurants that are a short walk. The views of Mont Blanc and the Aiguille de Midi from our room were spectacular. We had a smallish room with two smaller beds, a bathroom with tub and shower, with the toilet in a separate room. A bit older radiator heating system that got quite warm at times. Nice balcony with views so opened the door a time or two to cool things down. Ski storage rooms with boot dryers was nice. Outdoor hot tub and indoor sauna. You can reserve a time to use privately. You can pre order breakfast for the following morning for an additional fee. Overall an exceptional experience if you don’t need a lot of space.

Wonderful stay
We had a wonderful stay at La Sapinière. A very cosy traditional hotel in a perfect location just outside the main centre of Chamonix, with superb views of Mont Blanc and the Aiguille du Midi. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. We would most definitely stay there again.
