Watch out ..poor value for money. unfairly and unreasonably priced food & beverages!
Cheap bottle of wines costing less than €10 in the UK or Europe is sold at Noom Hotel at €70-80!!
Beat this, tiny 33 cl bottle of carbonated water served here at over €7 per bottle!

Stayed for 9 days, Regret for not checking out for a different hotel.
Disgusting experience, never again! Complained to duty the managers but found them totally unhelpful if not useless!

Établissement acceptable pour un voyage d'affaires. Réceptionnistes accueillants. Les chambres sont propres et en bon état de fonctionnement (sauf la serrure, peinant à fermer).
Le buffet du petit-déjeuner est copieux et varié. Je ne recommande en revanche pas le dîner (sec et service beaucoup trop long), dans une salle glaciale surclimatisée à 16 degrés.
A l'arrivée à l'aéroport, le transport réservé 10h plus tôt n'etait pas là.

L'établissement est hyper capitaliste! Le moindre service est facturé. Exemple : ayant demandé une assiette (juste une assiette vide) le room service me facture 25.000 GNF pour me prêter une assiette. Chose que je trouve ahurissant!

à part cela, j'ai trouvé la restauration bonne et de qualité. Le personnel d'accueil joviale.

The receptionist who booked us in was poorly trained, unhelpful and unfriendly. We ate at the hotel for our entire stay. Unfortunately my wife had a severe stomach complaint which commenced on our second night. This made for an unpleasant stay.

The rooms are nice. They are clean. The staff are pleasant. The breakfast is very good. The food in the restaurant is generally good. If I had any point that they could upgrade it would be the service staff in the restaurant and around the pool. Waiting 20-30 minutes for someone to even acknowledge you isn't going to win you rave reviews. Consistently waiting 20 minutes for a drink isn't going to win you rave reviews. With a little more management attention to detail, I think it could be significantly improved.

Service in the morning is just as great as it used to be, but service at nighttime is horrible. It consistently takes 30 minutes to even be greeted - one night it took an hour and 30 minutes to get half melted ice-cream and pay.
We extended our stay, and the front desk lady told us we could stay in our current room, but then later that day, a different man at the front desk made us switch rooms. It was extremely inconvenient.
The property is still very nice, and the kids love the pool.

Beware of fraud. I booked my hotel on Expedia. I was overcharged for incidentals (about 1000 USD). That charge went on my VISA within about 1 day of check in and I did not spend much in incidentals. I was told they couldn't refund my VISA that amount because it would take months. I was asked to give my banking details so the hotel could wire me the money I didn't use on incidentals (700 USD). I am still waiting for that money and it has been well more than the 3 days they said (in fact more than week). They said their accountant does not work on the weekends and refused to refund me in cash. I have written to the Noom hotel by email multiple times including the email on the Noom website, the hotel ownership email (magnolia), etc. No response. I put a fraud alert on my credit card. I have a local contact. They were very nice but I found this practice highly concerning and write this to warn all future customers that your credit card may be overcharged and not refunded.

Services from the entire Hotel crew (except for the security team) was terrible. Guinea probably have the lowest costs of leaving in the entire world; but yet, the hotels change about $150 nightly for a standard room, and does not want to offer any complimentary items at all. They will not provide you coffee creamer if you ask for it, they hardly want to provide you with more than one towel per day, and the breakfast that's included in the room price is absolutely below standard with respect to the amount that you paid for the room. They will also not allowed you to give feedbacks to the manager when you ask to speak with one, they will tell you that the manager is very busy and he/she will call you back but no one will ever call to discuss your concerns. Very disappointed with the service that this hotel provides to it's customers.

Incredible hotel due to the kindest staff!

I had the privilege of staying in the NOOM Hotel for a few days, and it was a phenomenal experience due to the incredible and brilliant staff.

Ibrahima Camara picked me up from the airport in a prompt and quick manor. He was exceptionally kind, showing me famous sights on Conakry during our ride back to the hotel. Ibrahima proved to be a great friend throughout my stay, always helping me.

During the check-in process, another gentleman named Ibrahima was also very beneficial. During my stay, the whole team at the front desk was great - Dieynabou, Louise, Sakouna and Rose were always kind and compassionate.

It is pertinent to note that the driving force of the success of NOOM is due to one woman - Ngone Diallo. Ngone has extensive experience working with different hotels throughout Africa, and you can immediately see how her leadership inspires others. Ngone helped me plan my trip to Iles de Los and other excursions as well. She was always willing to go out of the way to help me. Hence, I am eternally grateful that I had the opportunity to befriend her.

The Noom itself is a good looking hotel at first impressions however during my 4 day stay there I had no hot water for a shower nor any WiFi in my room which as my trip was for business was useless to me. I had to go to the reception area for hook in.
I moved hotel to the Palm Camayenne which has these facilities.

What an amazing hotel. It has a stunning infinity pool overlooking the ocean and the hotel is located in Kaloum in the city centre. Whilst the city of Conakry is notorious for its problem with litter, there are some good aspects to the city - including the beautiful Los Islands just off the coast. The hotel can arrange visits. The hotel staff are very professional, attentive and friendly. I would strongly recommend the hotel. One problem I had - which the hotel would do well to resolve - is that the card machine did not work and the staff advised that my bank had declined the transaction. After an angry call to my bank, I found out that the hotel had not even sent an authorisation request. It was irritating as it delayed our departure. However this was a relatively small flaw in what was overall a wonderful experience.

Nice hotel by the sea.

I found the rooms were adequately furnished and decorated. The rooms were comfortable, clean and sound proof. The king size bed was very comfortable and provided a restful sleep every night. The AC unit was quiet and cooled the room fast. Two 500 ml of bottled water and two coffee pods for the Nespresso coffee machine were provided each day. A safe with digital keypad is provided in every room. The safe is large enough to store a 15” laptop along with a medium size camera and your travel documents and other valuables. Breakfast buffet is included in your stay. We were more than satisfied with the breakfast buffet. It offered a variety of food to accommodate all tastes and preferences. They have fresh fruit juice to quench your thirst as well as fresh brewed coffee to jump start your day. If you like fancy coffee, don’t worry, they also offer cappuccino, espresso and latte. The internet is very fast and is available throughout the hotel and in your room. The hotel front desk will exchange the currency but their exchange rate is very poor. I suggest you exchange your money elsewhere. Most high-end restaurants or supermarkets will exchange the currency for you, sometimes at a better rate than the posted rate. Overall, my 3 week stay at the Noom Hotel had been pleasant and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a good hotel to stay in Conakry.
