Very centrally located this welcoming hotel is a nice experience. Solid, quality furniture round the aesthetics of this hotel. Beds and pillow selection of four different softness types was a good idea.

The room was clean and nice but so small that it felt like sleeping in a closet. The entrance door was one foot away from the bed.
Even though they had my credit card on file I was asked for a physical card to pay a deposit which was a problem as i only had my phone to pay. Luckily I had my physical debit card to use. Convenient location though :)

This hotel was great for a quick stay. The location right near Union Station, was convenient as we travelled to Toronto by train. The rooms are quite small, but it was fine for our trip, we just used the room to sleep. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The lobby was always busy and had a good vibe. I would stay again.

Amazing location. Very practical rooms for comfortable sleep and ease of Uber/Taxi pick up. Breakfast is made to order and delicious.

Would not recommend if you require additional seating, storage, or simple food prep. It’s a sleep and get going affair. Lounge area is bright with plenty of space for reading, scrolling, or work.

We enjoyed the lower key nature w/out the fluff of the major hotels near by.

Room was clean, bed comfy, front desk friendly. Lots of places to work and sit downstairs in the lounge. In bathroom, very small sink with no \"counter\" - was hard to place my flatiron - and the mirror in the bedroom did not have a plug near it that could be used. No bottled water provided, just a jug to fill from the tap. Most important - only instant coffee. No coffee maker in the bedroom.

Union Hotel was pretty nice & The staff were super friendly + helpful! I did expect a bit more for the price, especially given the volume of tv. We could barely hear, especially with the air blasting! Overall it was a decent stay.

The Union Hotel is a great Toronto location. Seven minute walk from Union Station, 10 minute walk to Scotiabank Arena. Rogers Stadium is a bit further but absolutely within walking distance. Downtown Toronto...everything you want is right there.

Perfect central location 3 minutes walk from the train station where we got a train from the airport to. City walkable but we used bus and tram too. Hotel reception area / bar modern and comfortable place to work or chill. Staff all excellent. Room compact but very comfortable huge bed and en-suite bathroom finished to a high standard and shower powerful. Overall an excellent stay and would recommend/ stay again. Initial impression from outside wasn’t great as hotel sign was a temporary banner but everything was fine inside

Restaurants and shops nearby, staff were very friendly. My big issue was just that the entire hotel reeked of this really nauseating essential oil smell. The lobby, the hallways and even my room smelled of it. Every time I came back into the hotel the smell just hit me like a wall.

Staff is polite and professional but the service was long at the reception (check in and and check out, all is made manually).

Rooms are well decorated but very small, not really practical. It’s really noisy, I barely slept. The AC/heater was extremely noisy and we could hear a lot of noise from outside. In other words, if you want to get some rest, Union Hotel is not the best pick.

This is disappointing because this hotel is very well located.

The vibe and the decor are top shelf. The room, although on the smaller side, was well designed and equipped. Our only concern was the heater/cooling unit was excessively loud. It clicked on and off every 15mins making for a restless sleep.

The bed is very comfortable. The room is small. It is only 2-3 steps from the bed to the door. The gap under the door is large and you can see the shadows if people in the hall and clearly hear the people talking. It was not as private as my own bedroom in my own house. House cleaning also walked in on me at 9:55am while I was undressed. Clearly, housekeeping is not aware of who has already checked out prior to the checkout time of 11am. Overall it was adequate for sleep but not where I would choose to stay again

Overall a good hotel, but the walls were PAPER thin. I could hear every single sound from the room next to me. This was disrupting to my sleep and made it feel like I also have no privacy in my room. I don't plan on staying here again.

Arrived 1 hour after check-in started and it still took nearly 40 minutes (with two people at the two person front desk).

Room was clean but not quiet. Heard people talking text door and when someone dropped a glass in the room above. Light coming in around our closed door.
