Very good option to stay in Pori

Scandic Pori is a good option to stay in Pori. The hotel is quite close to the train station and very close to the city center. It is very easy to go for many places starting from Scandic. The hotel is clean, the front desk professionals are friendly. The breakfest is quite good and complete. The standard room is quite small (bellow Finland average). If you have larger bags, it could be a difficult. The price was slightly higher than Tampere and Hensinki. I didn't understand why. But I would stay again in this hotel for sure. Good option.

Nice service - facilities could use a facelift…

This was our second stay at Scandic Pori. A basic hotel with a good location and parking facilities, friendly staff, and a fair breakfast including vegan options, which was a definite bonus for us. Unfortunately, the rooms are quite outdated and the air-conditioning was noisy (you could adjust the temperature but not the speed) and kept us awake for the better part of the two nights of our visit.

Mukava hotelli, erittäin koiraystävällinen. Miinusta ahtaasta parkkihallista ja vain yhdestä käyttökelpoisesta sähköauton latauspaikasta (type 2). Senkin paikan valloittivat vielä ”dinosaurusautot”.

Breakfast Covid19 policy?

One Night stay, Hotel in good location with walking distnce to town and shops. Staff was average helpful. From the outside Hotel seems old and oudated but inside it is ok and rooms were clean. Breakfast was rich however too many people at once, the Hotel should check their Covid19 policy. I just grabbed quickly some food and got out of the Restaurant asap as there was a long que to all the buffet food. Pori as a town has not too much to offer or see

Great Location, OLD TINY Rooms, RUDE STAFF!

The location was amazing but the rooms were very small and outdated. The bathroom had outdated white tiles and not very functional layout. We stayed for 3 days and the room was not cleaned even once. we were a couple and upon asking multiple times we were not given Queen bed instead we had 2 twin beds that cannot be joined.
The restaurant had only one appetizer as veterinarian. So while my 3 friends already ordered their meat dishes, I went downstairs and got a veggie dish for me. When I joined them, I was asked rudely to take the food out. Later the manager apologized but then again it was unacceptable how I was treated.

Got a room that wasn't cleaned, but...

The room I first was given had not been cleaned, but I went to the desk and they gave me an upgrade without batting an eye. In the new room, the rug hadn't been vacuumed very well and there was what was left of some moron's big toenail on the carpet when I got there. The sauna also could have been hotter, but the steam room was awesome. It's a very nice hotel, and the staff were awesome. Recommended. Would have gotten 5 stars without the \"object in the carpet\" and if I would have been able to go straight to my assigned room.

Pleasant retreat from the snow

My wife and I visited for five days, didn't notice the renovation work going on until I read a sign about them, so never heard them.
The bed was comfortable, bathroom and shower was pleasant, and mostly good TV reception (the joys of digital reception).
Plan to visit again next year.

I was expecting a Travelodge type experience but actually this was much more stylish but for the same kind of price range. The Australian style bar area let it down stylewise but the food was absolutely fine and generous.

Huone oli kulahtanut ja parhaat päivänsä nähnyt. Siellä oli myös huono äänieristys. Aamupalalla ruuat olisivat voineet olla yleisesti lämpimämpiä. Hotellin yleiskuva vaihteleva, saunatilat ok kuntoiset, mutta \"kuntosali\" surkeassa kunnossa. Hissien toiminta hidasta ja työntekijät käyttivät jatkuvasti samaa hissiä. Henkilökunnasta plussaa.

Hotellihuoneen saunan kiuas oli rikki. Kaikki huoneen mukavuudet olisi hyvä tarkistaa päivittäin kun huoneet siivotaan. Henkilökunta oli kuitenkin mukavaa ja saatiin heti sovittua, että saamme hinnasta hyvityksen. Hotellin aamupala oli loistava.

På natten (ca 03.15) när vi kom. Bra med parkering i garaget. Hiss upp till rummets våning direkt från garaget. När vi lämnade hotellet kl 12.00 fick stå kvar i garaget medan vi fiaxw vår grej i Björneborg.

Hotellihuone (410) on todellakin nähnyt parhaat päivänsä jo aikaa sitten. Kulahtaneista pinnoista johtuen huone näytti epäsiistille, vaikka välttämättä ei sitä ollut. Siistijät eivät vain saa kulunutta siistiksi. Hinta 230 € yöltä oli hotellin laatuun nähden yläkanttiin. Palvelu (vastaanottossa ja aamiaisella) sen sijaan oli ensiluokkaista.

Kokemus 8/10 yleisesti. Aamupala 9/10. Wc huoneessa saippuateline hieman löysästi kiinni suihkutilassa. Huone erittäin pieni. Samoin suihkutila. Kuitenki parisängyllinen huone kyseessä. Vaikeuttaa liikkumista. Näkoala 6/10 viereisen talon katto. Pysäköintihalli 7/10 mahtuu iso auto myös. Toisaalta halli oli melko ahdas myöskin, mutta vitkuttelulla auton sai paikalleen. Kylpyamme olisi ollut kiva kun hotelli tarjosi pelkästään saunavuoroa, missä miesten ja naisten vuorot erikseen.

Miniloma perheen kanssa

- Hotellin sijainti ei mitenkään viihtyisällä paikalla
- Aamiainen oli porrastettu, joten piti edellisenä iltana jo ilmoittaa aamiaisaika, jonka kesto oli vielä kaiken huipuksi vain 30min. Meillä pieni 1v. lapsi, jonka rytmi vaihtelee ja syömisen kesto myös.
- Muuten hyvä aamupala, paitsi munakas oli todella vetistä.
- Muuten mukavat sängyt nukkua, mutta petari liukui koko ajan paikaltaan.
- Henkilökunnalla pleksi infon edessä, mutta kuitenkin vielä maskit naamalla... Ahdistavaa ja epämiellyttävää.

Aivan järkyttävä tunkkainen huone . Lisäksi todella pieni. Ei enää Skandic.iin. Aamiaisbuffet ei mitään rajoituksia ja leipiä, piirakoita otettiin ilman mitään ottimia ryysiksessä. Kyllä pitäisi jotain rajoituksia olla ja rajoituksia siihen miten monta tulee yhtäaikaa ja miten siellä rynnitään. Ottimet puuttuivat siis kokonaan kaikista leivistä yms

Hotelli joka ajaa asiansa, hyvä ilmastointi!

Parasta oli se, että huone oli riittävän viileä, harvinaista Suomessa! Myös palvelu oli ystävällistä. Eniten petrattavaa on aamiaisessa - tilat kaipaavat remonttia ja tarjoilu alkaa olla aika old school -meininkiä. Saunakin voisi olla fiksummin auki - ehkä toinen sauna miehille ja toinen naisille, eikä sitä perinteistä systeemiä että naiset menevät saunaan silloin kun kaikki haluavat syödä (eli siis eivät mene saunaan).

Hotelli on hyvä ja muuten siisti, mutta aamiainen oli ruuhkainen ja pöydät täynnä käytettyjä astioita.

Muuten oikein mahtava, henkilökuntakin erittäin ystävällistä, mutta sänky oli epämukava, ja huoneesta en löytänyt pullonavaajaa, vaikka baarikaapissa oli korkillinen lonkero, sain avaajan kuitenkin ravintolan puolelta 😊
