This is a basic motel. It is clean and was comfortable.
Breakfast was offered but did not have options at all for dietary intolerances or allergies.
Though the notice said that staff speak English, the receptionist had to get a colleague to deal with my request for a refund for breakfast. This made for discomfort, though the refund was given.

The rooms are like cheap Butlins Chalets: Ours had mould on the walls and smelled of damp and decay. We had an extra person but the staff refused to find a room for them claiming to be full. Clearly not the case as most of the rooms had their shutters down. Really really bad value.

Receptionist friendly, room clean and quiet. A good night's sleep.

This is a very good motel at the price with a good sized bedroom, and en-suite.

We knew what we had booked and it met our expectations.

Campanile Peronne- disappointing

We were disappointed with our stay here. We had 2 twin rooms and one of them stank of cigarette smoke. There were huge cobwebs behind the curtains and mould on the bathroom tiles. There were 2 large cracks across the basin and the toilet kept trying to flush itself. The other room was ok.

Tired and unattractive hotel.

Not the usual Campanile standard, the appearance is of a run down motel needing a lot of maintenance. Rooms are shabby and bathroom plaster is crumbling. Room smelled of stale tobacco despite no smoking policy. Because of this, preferred to eat at restaurants in nearby town.

We stayed one night prior to visiting the battlefield cemeteries and whilst the rooms are fairly basic were comforable and clean. Despite not being able to speak french we found the staff most helpful with any request. We had a billing problem following check out and when the hotel was notified the issues was resolved very quickly. I would recommend if location is convenient.

Stayed in this hotel as an overnight stop to the south , basic clean accommadation ,lovely bed staff were quite helpful didn't have evening meal or breakfast so cant comment on the food .Took a walk into the town , its quite a way over 30minutes walk either way but worth it.

Lovely staff, very helpful & freindly shabby room

We had a lovely time visiting the Somme region of France and the staff of the Motel made it so much more easier. Very friendly and helpful and generally pleasent. A big Thank You to them all. Our room was OK, clean & tidy, but it was a bit tired and could do with a bit of a revamp!

Basic room, but ok for price. Isolated location, a few km out of town, but busy for Anzac Day period. Much more a business / sales rep hotel than holiday hotel. Wi-fi does not work in rooms, for anyone, despite staff continuing to say it did - you have to go into main building. No a/c in lounge, no actual bar, restaurant opens at 7pm. Staff need to cheer up or find a new job.

Not a good stopover experience

Room booked for 3 adults/3 single beds but 3rd bed was a pull out bed which had to be placed in walkway to bathroom. Room very shabby and in desperate need of decoration. Didn't use any reception or breakfast facilities so cannot comment on these.

The hotel itself was great &the staff & food were excellent, but very disappointed with the distance from town. The hotel brochure states 500metres from the Historial de la geurre, as I new where that was I assumed the hotel was central. It turned out to be a few kilometres out of town & near the motorway.

Good accommodation, outstanding food.

The location was OK but we should have preferred to be closer to the town centre. Having said that, it was very peaceful and we slept well. The food was absolutely great and excellent value for money, even if we don't spend the night there again we shall certainly use the restaurant!

Fantastic Stafff but terrible room

Probably the worst room we have stayed in during our 5 weeks across Europe. Very small room, hardly enough room to get out of bed to toilet and shower let alone set up travel bags. Very old rooms with very new front of house restraunt. The staff were fantastic, great english, very helpfull, couldnt do enough for us. I dont normally complain but would not recommend these rooms to anyone. Take a look at the picture on hotels.com web page for this motel, you can see that the chairs hardly have the room to come out from the table to the bed. dont go, disappointed.

Campanile Peronne -

The hotel accomodation was in need of repair and refurbishment. The intial room provided had at some point been broken in to and the door was not secure. We were offered another room which we accepted. In this room some basic maintenance was required to fixtures and fittings, eg. the toilet bowl was not secured effectively to the wall.

Very good staff

This is a basic hotel and the rooms were small (we had a large double bed and a trundle bed for our son which when in use meant no floor space at all). The shower had seen better days but overall it was OK for the price paid - significantly cheaper than any other hotels in the area.

We had dinner twice and I would recommend the all you can eat appetizer buffet and the kids meals were good value. The breakfast buffet was certainly not good value.

The best part of the hotel was the staff who were really friendly and helpful.

Shower holder broken. No plug for sink. new tv, but old tv holder still attatched to ceiling in the room. no enough milk with coffee/tea. no hairdryer available( this is bad considering todays standards expected) had another guest banging on dooors looking for a hairdryer! set dinner excellent, breakfast at 9euro seems very expensive. Dining room very nice.
You get what you pay for re the room rate.Last Campanile we stayed at better than this one .

Perfect for our overnight stay

This hotel gave us all that we needed and more.
- plenty of free parking
- spacious, clean and warm room
- a bath!!
- delicious restaurant on site
- tea and coffee in the room, tv and free wifi.

The only negative to our experience was that communication was difficult as the staff spoke little english, and even then we worked around that with alot of pointing and such. Also, it is as much our fault for not having learnt more French before our trip!!

Great base

My husband, daughter and myself stayed in a room for three people.This hotel s a great base for following the poppy trail of the Somme battlefields and memorials. The hotel was comfortable, clean and the restaurant had a good choice of meals especially the buffet in the evening. Not much to do in the evening especially as the bar closed at 10pm and it was a bit far to walk to the town. We had a good time and would use these hotels again for a short stay.

Personnels sympathique, chambre juste propre, dormi trois nuits, les serviettes ont été changé, pas de ménage dans la chambre ni dans la salle de bain, et le lit n'a pas été fait.
De plus, le rouleau de papier toilette n'a pas été remplacé, j'ai du aller en chercher à l'accueil juste avant 22h.

Kyriad est toujours a la hauteur de sa qualité. Juste chek in difficile car réservation par internet qui n’avait pas était trouvé de suite. Sinon lit de bonne qualité. Attention néanmoins a la vétusté des lits qui grinçaient.

Nous avions lors de la réservation signalé la présence d'un enfant de moins de un an.
Arrivée sur place le lit n'était pas adéquat.
Heureusement nous avions ce qu'il fallait.
Mais faire payer (25 € ) en plus pour un bébé sans avoir aucun service en contre-partie est un peu honteux.
