This hotel was a small boutique type of hotel. They offered free amenities which I appreciated. The reason why I chose this hotel was for their family suite that slept eight and we enjoyed our stay. It was easily accessible to a lot of places we were visiting. We also discovered that our room had a hidden balcony. The staff was super friendly and made our luggage transfer a breeze. I would stay here again.

I loved my stay here, the staff was friendly and attentive. Rooms were very clean and public areas were well kept. The hotel is also in a very convenient location, with many restaurants that were walking distance, and there’s a train station nearby. Also calling an uber to and from the hotel was easy. The hotel accommodated a family of 5 with 2 queen beds and a twin sofa bed. We had a microwave and fridge in our room. The room was very clean. The TV was huge. The location is the best part. It’s is a 5 minute walk to the metro and there so many great places to eat in the neighborhood. And there is a 7-11 right next door. The hotel was perfect for what we needed.

Good central location for restaurants, bars, convenience stores and transit stations. Many amenities provided including charging cable, mini fridge, microwave , hair curling/flat iron, robe, disposable slippers, washing machine. There are a ton of bars & restaurants open late, some surrounding streets felt too adult-ish for young kids.
Reserved two Akasaka Suites for 4 night family stay. Rooms were spacious and generally clean. Rooms are shoe free, meaning remove shoes and wear slippers in the room.. unfortunately appears prior patrons didn't do so and/or it's been a while since the rugs had been shampoo/cleaned. Staff were great from dropping off luggage before rooms were ready, to checking out and helping with directions to our next destination.

Smelled like cigarette smoke and sewer

I usually don’t like leaving negative reviews, but I feel like I have to so that no one else falls for the same thing we did. The hotel had a 9.0 rating and looked wonderful online, but it was very misleading. The photos must have been taken when the place was new, because in reality it’s completely run down.

From the moment we walked into the lobby, it smelled like sewer. The hallways were dark and smelled terrible too. Our room was supposed to be non-smoking, but it reeked of smoke on top of the sewer smell. It was so strong that three of us in my family of six started feeling sick right away—especially those of us with asthma and allergies.

I honestly don’t understand how this place gets such high reviews. We couldn’t stay and had to leave. If you’re sensitive to smells, have kids, or simply expect a clean environment, please think twice before booking.

The hotel is situated close to a lot of restaurants, bars and cafes. Walking distance to various subway stations. The biggest rooms we've ever stayed at in Japan! Comfortably fit 4 adults in the room with plenty of space for 4 large luggages. Its so convenient to have your own laundry in the room.

Dislikes: that there was no cleaning service in the room during our 6 days stay (although they pick up our garbage and they provide us with fresh towels daily). This is not a big deal though as the amenities and size of the room is amazing.

One of the 4 beds in our room may possibly have bed bugs as I have bites and rashes on my legs when I get up in the morning.

This was a fantastic experience in all respects for our first visit to Tokyo. We were a party of four including two teenagers. Our room had two king beds and gave us the space we needed.
The staff were exceptionally attentive and helpful. Loads of eating options nearby. Easy walks to multiple metro lines made exploring the city a breeze. We loved the character of the neighbourhood. Will stay here again the next time we are in Tokyo.

My family of 4 stayed in a Japanese Style Suite which was spacious and worked well for us. The backlit shoji walls were lovely but it meant no natural light and the washer/dryer was helpful though it took a LONG time to dry so plan to do the laundry when you go out for the day. A refrigerator and microwave meant we didn't have to go out for every meal. Fresh towels were delivered each morning and trash removed daily. The neighborhood had much to offer (dining, convenience stores) and there were 3 subway stations within a 5 minute walk. NO hotel amenities but the staff were always ready to help and 4 bottles of water each day helped greatly in a hot summer. If you're going to be out exploring and just want a clean, roomy place to sleep and bathe I highly recommend.

We stayed with our family of six for our first trip in Japan. Place was convenient with the metro in walking distance. Wifi could have been better, shower floor could use more cleaning. Otherwise, our stay was wonderful, staff was friendly. Would recommend staying here. Room was wonderful for our family of 6. Would stay here again!

The Centurion Classic Hotel Akasaka is a phenomenon place that is in a great location, has amazing rooms, and stunning service. The service in particular was expectional, especially Nakajima and Chhumi, as they were patient and lovely with us. This service was the best I have ever had in my life. We will be back.

Unfortunately our room was dirty, had water damage, an unsteady staircase and had a foul smell. We decided not to stay and were charged one night’s stay for cancelling a 3 night stay. The reviews and ratings on Expedia were misleading and so were the pictures. The staff at the hotel was very nice and polite in helping me cancel the stay and did offer us a different room.

We were a family of four with two young children. The hotel was in a great position, easy to get a taxi or walk to train stations. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of space for all of us. Our room even had a bunk bed which the kids loved. The staff were very friendly and helpful, we loved that they could assist with luggage forwarding.

Outdated but worked fine for 2 night stay

This hotel was good for a 3 star, we stayed in the 8 person family room and while the room was nice and comfortable, the bath was a little rundown, with the floor covered with a mat that covered either stains ie wear and tear. The shades in the room-the windows are tucked behind the shades and you don’t get much natural sun light. The room and hotel had a musty smell, likely due to high humidity. Overall a bit outdated but it was fine for 2 nights. The staff were super friendly. Great dining around.

I was a bit disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. There was rug that looked pretty gross and dirty. That just made the whole room feel a bit dingy. The balcony wasn’t clean or well put together for anyone to use it. The only thing that made it ok for me to stay was the friendliness of the staff. But I can’t lie, I was glad I was only there a few days.

We loved our stay at this hotel. There were 7 of us and we stayed in a beautiful large room that sleeps up to 12. They provided robes and slippers and amenities for everyone as well. It was a fun way to spend our final night in Tokyo.

The staff was so nice and helpful. The room was huge and had a wonderful balcony where we sat in the morning and drank coffee. I loved that everything we needed was provided by the hotel—coffee supplies, bottled water, slippers, and basic toiletries like brush, toothbrush, etc. The coffee was delicious! The hotel was close to many great shops, restaurants, and convenient stores. It was also on a couple of blocks away from the subway station and it was a very centralized location so it was easy to get anywhere in Tokyo. The only thing that was great, but also not great was the washing machine. It was located in the room, which was so convenient. It was a combo washer/dryer—and you can buy the detergent for 100¥ in the lobby—but be sure to dry in very small loads and give yourself plenty of time. We’d absolutely stay here again. It was a great hotel.

The staff were all very helpful and always courteous. However, the Hotel seemed a little run down, masking tape on walls in the room to cover damage, filters unclean and no proper bedding for our toddler was supplied, just sheets and a duvet on a very uncomfortable couch (not a fold out).

There is no proper soundproofing, so the street noise was an issue at night, and the rooms did not get cleaned, even though it was requested, just clean towels left hanging on the outside of the door in a plastic bag.

I strongly suggest this property due to its excellent convenience; it’s just a three-minute walk to the metro station. There are also numerous restaurants and a Family Food Mart in the vicinity. The staff exceeded my expectations, and the location is wonderful—during my stay, I always felt secure while walking around the area.
