Excellent place to rest to hang out. Overall service was good, the staff is very polite. Easy to walk around town, the town is lovely. Right outside the hotel there are locals vendors with typical food and artisanal products.
The road from Medellin to Santa Fe de Antioquia is excellent, its about one hour away from Medellin.

I do not want to suggest this Hotel because it will become a tourist hangout. I love this place and I try to stay often, at times two or three times a year. It is my oasis. I want to keep it as my family hideout.

Very unique hotel, all the antiques truly make this place a piece of history. Their intention is to have a calm and peaceful pool area, however, the pool is next to the main street so you hear all the street noise. Without music, the pool is just very noisy.

I liked the friendly staff, cleanliness and their flexibility in checking in. As for the property?, was ok... Decoration felt messy as antiques are placed around the place without anything making sense. A bit expensive for what you get compared to other hotels I have been to around the world. I guess the tourist demand dictates the price rather than the amenities? Overall, I would recommend.

We have visiting many times over the past several years. Mariscal is a magical place. However, the clientele seems to be evolving making it a bit less relaxing. It used the be that there were mainly couples and adults, but there are now more large groups and families who monopolize space in the pool area. I suppose the change was inevitable.

The pool is completely surrounded by lounge chairs and then set back a little are several large covered bed-like lounges so there's never a lack of places to lay down. The all inclusive breakfast serves a large variety from healthy juices to chorizo and it changes everyday.

Very historical building with lots of antiques preserved in the hotel. The hotel is also a museum. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Santa Fe. Right in the middle of the city with everything in walking distance. Food and service were superb. They close check in at 10pm and there is no water stocked in the room. But water is available right outside the rooms for filling.

El hotel es colonial es agradable, el servicio de check in súper rápido, la piscina muy agradable, el desayuno delicioso, para mi gusto falta mejorar algunas cosas como la entrada al hotel en la noche, ya que hay que esperar a que alguien te abra la puerta, no hay teléfono el las habitaciones, traté de conseguir una plancha en el hotel y no lo logré, el servicio del bar en la piscina es demasiado lento .

Customer service and cleanliness are NOT qualities of this hotel. My bad experience was from time to check in to time I found a huge dead roach in the bathroom. Cost of hotel was not worth the way I was treated when I checked in, property manager tried her best to be emphatic but it was hard for her to show it. You want to ask her what her staff put my family and myself through check in time.

Santa Fe De Antioquia is hot. The hotel has AC set up in every room. But the temperature is either very cold or hot. The staff is nice and generally attentive. However, the front desk will try every trick in the book to extract extra money upon check out. First they said I owe the full about for 4 night. 2 persons times 2 nights or 4 nights of occupancy. After much haggling, the front desk agreed that I had prepaid through Expedia. Their second approach was to attempt charging me $50 USD for onsite insurance. After much debate, they backed of as they could not state why this is necessary upon checkout. Third, they way over charged me for 5 soft drinks I had at the pool. Check out took 30 minutes and was basically a shake down.

Spend some hours visiting Occidente Bridge and the old area of the Town. Great dinner in La Casa Solariega, just in the corner of Santa Barbara Square. Do not omit drinking artesanal beers from its repertorie.

Peace and joy in the heart of town

The perfect place to relax. Great for couples and for kids. Everywhere you turn, something interesting. The antiques collection takers you back in time and your room is from yesteryear but worth all the modern conveniences. The pool area is among the most beautiful and comfortable I have ever seen. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the historic district. I have stayed here four times now, and the service is always exemplary. I go to Santa Fe just to stay at Mariscal Robledo and will continue to do so. It never disappoints.

Don't get room 223!

Hotel common areas and pool are gorgeous. Got room 223, very disappointing. Shabby FF&A for a 5 star rated hotel, unacceptable DANGEROUS shower, no internal phone to talk to reception, non-opening windows as they get to the corridor: everybody will look at you while passing by. Awful.
Perhaps other rooms are way better, we got very unlucky this round.

Probably my Favorite hotel EVER

This is the second time i stayed at this hotel. The pool and the hotel itself are definitely the highlights. You have the feeling that you could explore for hours inside. The staff is so accommodating. I LOVE the pool staff and in the past year it's been all the same people which says something. Breakfasts are AMAZING. PLEASE EAT THE TOMALE if you go! you can eat one of everything if you want for free. Weekend breakfasts are more elaborate with added varieties of juices, sausages, potatoes, and a make your own egg bar and waffle station. The first time i stayed, we had a \"normal\" king bed room inside the hotel with a bathroom. The second time we stayed in a cathedral view studio suite. i recommend this for a romantically involved couple as the bathroom/shower is open to the room. Personally i found the beds a little firm and the pillows over stuffed for my taste but i like really soft beds and and 5ft tall so i know thats a personal preference and it's easy for something to not fit my body well. My boyfriend found the beds SUPER comfortable. The parking is great and safe too. it's free with your room and they have someone there all the time to let you in and out if you want to explore. I love Santa Fe but it's because this hotel is there! you just feel amazing and well taken care of. There is nothing better than this place in santa fe!

The hotel and town were great. I will definitely return. I have one small complaint. The shower will only produce hot water at barely more than a trickle. The water heater was a on the shower head unit and could not keep up with a normal flow. The pool area and restaurant are great.

Best hotel in the town center

This hotel is unique and full of character. This is easily the best hotel right in the middle of the town. The pool is gorgeous with elaborate flowers and greenery, and it is like a museum with all of the historical items. I am from the US, but lived in Colombia for a few years so it was what I expected, but for this price I think that US guests will find the shower situation lacking. The hot water heater attached to the shower in my room didn't work well, so I had to choose between hot water or enough water pressure to rinse my hair. Also, foreign guests who have not been to Santa Fe should know that the rooms have hard floors and are very charming, but not overly luxurious. Free breakfast was great, but we (I was with my Colombian husband and in-laws) were surprised that the orange juice was made from a mix.

Luxury in the Heart of Santa Fe

This is a beautiful hotel in a quiet location of the historical center of Santa Fe. The staff was friendly and the pool area is very luxurious. We were there during the week so we practically had the pool to ourselves! We had one of the older spacious rooms on the second floor with beautiful wood furniture and super comfy beds. The breakfast was great and there is a lovely cafe in the hotel that serves great coffee. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Great oasis retreat-love the pool!

The hotel is so beautiful. It is colonial and old but is very well mentained. It has its charm and the pool area is fantastic. I loved that they offer bikes to guests-went for bike ride with my husband through out the old town. Was a great way to get around town with narrow streets. Plus the hotel offers so many unique sitting areas, cards, ping-pong and pool tables for recreation. Had a great time here would come back here!

Staff was incredible! We had a fantastic time while we stayed in Santa Fe. The pool was super relaxing. Rooms were impeccable. Included breakfast was absolutely delicious and very complete. This hotel is almost like staying at a museum since everything is antique and has the history behind it. But the people made the hotel a great place to stay.

The good:

Location and accommodation are excellent, the room has air conditioning.
The hotel has the biggest pool in town and it's well maintained.
The included breakfast is good and served near the pool in the mornings.

The bad:
We has a mouse in the room walking free and informed the hotel about it with no results.
The lights are not turned on by the stuff in the evening, be careful not to fall on the stairs.

Needs attention

Staff and hotel are great but the rooms need attention, we had to move rooms, then our shower didn't work, then we got an electric shock from the taps in the bathroom, we had to use another spare room to shower in. Very disappointing considering it is a high range hotel and expensive.

The swimming pool and ambience of the place are great. But it's just lacking things. The bed was very comfortable at least

I had the best New Years with my family at the Marisacal Robledo .Prices were affordable, food was great , location , was great and the stuff is the best . Lina, the manager was very helpful and front desk stuff as well . there is nothing with this place , the hotel grounds are amazing. Every corner has piece of history . The pool area is very confortable and relaxing. I will definitely would love to come back again for a longer period .

Perfect stay for a family or couple, hotel is small, you will not find any crowds in the pool or dining area. Food is fantastic, we overshot included lunch buffet time by 30 minutes, they simply sat us in the dining area and brought our food with no fuss or questions.

El hotel es realmente bueno, me gustó mucho el desayuno.
Puede mejorar las almohadas de la cama en la habitación, son muy altas y terminé con dolor de cuello.
El personal puede ser más cálido y más cuando el hotel está lleno, se presentó caos a la hora del desayuno, refill demorado.
Hay que tener en cuenta la recomendación del servicio de transporte del hotel, el señor Arnaldo cambió los precios a último momento, no fue una buena experiencia.

Excelente servicio y ubicación. Está en el centro histórico y a 2 cuadras del parque principal. Comida deliciosa, ambiente colonial y todo su personal es muy, muy amable. También hay opción de parqueadero.

Tienen una opción de late checkout gratuita! Nosotros la usamos y salimos a las 3 pm. La piscina es muy tranquila y tiene muchos muebles cómodos.
