Check-in was fast and efficient. Room was a good size and very clean. Decor in the room was somewhat dated. Bed was comfortable, and bathroom was well stocked. There was no coffee supplied in the room although there was a coffee maker. Motel was quiet and satisfactory. Acceptable for the price point.

Location and scenic views from the balcony were amazing. Recommended stop for anyone who needs a comfortable stay. Especially the boy at the front desk was extremely helpful and welcoming. And the orthopedic mattress that they have, it's a relief to the back after a long drive.

The handrails to the 2nd floor are way too low - doubt they are legal. There is lots of road noise and you’ll never figure out the TV! Lots of space for kids and pets to run around on. No restaurants or anything nearby so make sure you have everything you need before you arrive.

The room was pretty clean and the bedding looked and smelled freshly laundered. We were there for 3 nights, which seemed unusual due to new neighbours every day. I think this is more of a stop over point. The place is starting to look a little run down and is in need of some maintenance. The air conditioning worked but was very loud all night long. Staff was pleasant and offered fresh towels the one time we saw them. They did have a large green space behind with picnic tables and a swing set for younger kids. There was also a basketball hoop and basketball in the parking lot. Lots of parking with spots for bigger vehicles and trailers. The beds are comfortable with lots of pillows. There was a small kitchen area with a fridge, microwave and sink. Also a Keurig with coffee pods. If you needed boiling water for other uses, though, you had to use the microwave as the hot water out of the keurig tasted of coffee. Would have been nice to have had a kettle for tea.

This motel was convenient and fairly priced. However, the staff was not there - until summoned by a bell. They took my credit card and kept the receipts/slips laid out on the counter. The door had an old school key lock. The place was very run down, not particularly sound proofed - lots of noise from people upstairs and the highway. There was quite a bit of trash spilled out over two parking spots (an animal got into a trash bin? Maybe wind knocked it over?) No one cleaned it up over the two days I was there. There were only four rooms occupied and it frankly felt kind of weird/spooky. Though clean, it was very old, and out dated. The safety door lock was broken an not operable. Otherwise, the TV worked fine. The bed was comfortable. The fridge and microwave worked fine. The A/C worked, but was loud. It was pet friendly which I really appreciated

it's a quite budget friendly hotel. Given the price , we were truly satisfiedwith the stay. it's clean and has everything we need for a night on route to Banff. love the sink in the room, making it convenient making coffee and tea, enjoyed the hot shower with high pressure. I was quite impressed with the comfort of the bed and pillow.

Great to share how friendly and budget friendly this motel ….. our experience of stay at this motel was a very poor and disappointing. The room had mosquitoes where we had to donate some of our blood, and there were no proper electrical outlets…. They did provide but used electrical extension cords just to provide a place to plug in devices. There were no blankets provided but they took care by one Throw Blanket was on shelf, and the pillows were all different sizes and materials, which felt very unprofessional…. but we have to give them great experience review….

Little more towels and napkins were mismatched in red, green, blue, and gray colors. The floor carpet smelled damp and moldy. The air conditioner had no proper control, and the temperature could not be lowered below 20°C, making the room uncomfortable.

The bed frame was creative way covered with Indian sarees, which looked strange and unclean this couldn’t happened in India . The lamp on the TV table was not plugged in, and there was no accessible electrical outlet nearby to use it.

Outside lighting was very poor, and there was clutter, including used or damaged room furniture, near the stairs, making it unsafe and difficult to walk. Loud tapping and hammering noises could be heard from other rooms.

The guest arrival area also had no lighting, making it very hard to see at night. Overall, this was a very uncomfortable and poorly maintained motel experience…. But we have to give them positive review.

A good place to rest your head !
Parking was easy, there's a fridge and AC. The inside of the unit was all that we needed it to be, outside appearance looked like it could use some love.
Keep in mind you are across the street from a truck stop it appears, so with windows open there can be noise.
If you are just looking for a cheaper place that does what it needs to do for the night, I would recommend!

This stay was the most pleasant surprise of our trip. I was hesitant to book mainly because the price was so low (a good thing but it made me wonder....). From first glance I knew my concerns were unfounded. The gentleman who checked us in was super nice and efficient. Our room was clean with a brand new tempur-pedic mattress. Beds were comfy, shower had lots of pressure and was hot, the balcony had two nice chairs and I enjoyed reading my book out there for a while in the evening. Someone came to check our TV and he was very nice as well. The only thing missing from our stay was a hair dryer and my guess is if I had asked I could probably have gotten one. Overall amazing value and a great place to stay!

Check‑in was quick and easy. We arrived very late with a lot of luggage, and the staff kindly kept the lights on and waited in the parking area until we finished unloading and moving everything into the room. The room was tidy, clean, and smelled great. The bed was comfortable, and the whole place was quiet — perfect for relaxing after a long day of traveling. Highly recommend!

Stayed at Monashee Motel in Sicamous during our road trip and had a really good experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the check-in process was smooth. The location was convenient and perfect for a stop along the journey. The owners/staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even better. Front desk person had such a accent it was impossible to understand. He spoke too fast and mumbled. We never did get a room receipt in all the confusion.. We suspect we were overcharged. Carpet on outdoor stair and hall had tips and tears...., possible tripping hazard. The door to the room was dirty on the inside.. Someone with dirty hands was closing the door. Why only one chair around the dining table?Why was extension cords used for lighting instead of proper outlets. Why on earth would you install a towel rack over the toilet paper tools, the wet towels are going to dangle and get the rolls wet.Even simple things like mounting the clothes hanger rod level. It was so crooked it makes me wonder on the rest of maintenance around the facility.They had room for my truck and trailer but small cars occupied those spaces. There should be signs or some control to allow longer rigs.

Ok-this hotel is definitely for the budget conscious. Photos on the website look cottage-cute, but in reality, it’s a very old and tired motel with the cheapest of attempts at sprucing it up…. rather unsuccessfully. The beds are comfortable and there is a great little sofa in the room. It is small, cramped and fitted with a1960/1970 bathtub in the room we stayed in. Although it was clean(ish), the tired look of this place just begs the question of just how sanitary was it?
Guys at the front desk were friendly on the phone, but at check-in, there was no sense of personal attention. Gave us the key and ignored us. The “best room in the hotel” was allocated to us, and that room had a 9.5 star rating when we booked. To be fair, it might be so to those who are work guys or transport people looking for a place to stay overnight or for a month and don’t care about much. But this is a budget motel and serves a particular clientele. Fair enough-there’s a place for everyone, but just take care that it’s what you’re expecting.

The room was extremely chilly and the thermostat was not on because the power was turned off. I reported that to the front desk agent and he turned the power on. Then when I requested a hair dryer he say \"oh we don't supply them\". With a little coaching from me he said he would see if he could find one, and he eventually did.

On the other hand, there was enough bedding and it was clean so that was appreciated.

It's an ok place to stay for one night but I'd look for better next time.

The bed was very nice and clean and comfortable.
However, the walls, doors, floors seemed like they hadn't been washed in a while. The only plug in we could find was a power cord that had been glued crooked to the wall. It is an old building that needs some basic upgrades and maintenance, such as a fresh coat of paint, new furniture (the 1 chair in the room was broken), and a good scrub top to bottom. It was an ok stay, but we probably would look for something else next time.

For a super budget motel it was surprisingly good. The beds were very comfy, the towels were very big and soft, the water pressure was so strong. It was surprisingly quiet when the doors were closed despite being right in the highway. The lamp by the beds was a little sketchy, but worked. Easy check-in and check out situation. The coffee maker worked well and had fairly tasty coffee provided. Room was quite clean, although the garbage under the sink had not been changed from the guests before us. Overall I would stay there again. It's very rarr to find a hotel under $100 and it was exactly what we needed for a place to stay for the night.

I am by no means a picky person when it comes to staying in hotels/Motels however, I expect it to be clean & functioning.
All I can say is FILTHY & lots of mold.
They advertise cable, its a couple of app channels. Phone doesn't work, 2 out of 5 lamps worked, no bathroom fan/window. Bathroom light was attached to main room light so you couldn't turn on light if you needed to use the bathroom in the middle of the night or you'd wake up the other people in your room.
The desk clerk was more interested in sitting outback on his phone so anytime you went to the office you'd have to wait for him to come back & unlock the door. Not once did we get clean towels (or bedding) in 4 days. Its really hard for me to find a positive but I can say they at least have decent t.p. & the beds themselves weren't completely horrible.
I've never come across a hotel/motel I wouldn't stay at again but this one, id sleep in my car or tent it before I stayed here again. NEVER and I mean NEVER again.

There was mould in multiple places on the bathroom ceiling. The bathroom did not have a fan, only an old window that was difficult to reach high up. There were no electrical outlets in the bedroom area. Only an old power bar screwed to the wall. The two USB ports in the power bar did not work. Someone had started to patch drywall and tape in places but it hadn’t been sanded/painted. There was no way to control the heat, the curtains didn’t shut all the way, but most of all the walls were paper thin. Between the people next to us watching a movie and the family upstairs stomping around, sleep was scarce. I understand that it’s not a 5 star place but I feel a rate of $60 would’ve been more suitable. I will say the location was good and we were far enough from the main road to avoid traffic noise.

first of all, how do I begin? when we first got here the check in at the office was fine. when coming our way into the motel it was old musty bed sheets and had a broken lamp that couldn’t be turned on. It’s nothing like the photos so don’t be fooled by them. We were charged an EXTRA $40 for a person. (that is an insane price.) Outside there were kids playing basketball and screaming, running, playing HIDE AND SEEK from 7-10PM. When I left a bad review earlier, the owner knocked on our door and started YELLING at us on the phone asking why we gave a bad review. If u can’t tolerate reviews from what you give and get mad over it then maybe don’t run a motel at all. Obviously our safest option was to say we didn’t leave the bad review, or who knows how long that would’ve went for. Plenty of stains too and amounts of dust in corners. I would not wish this motel on anyone, even super 8 is a better choice and more comfortable. impossible to sleep, I already read the reviews and saw what the owner had to say, if you’re reading this just saying, you need to fix the things people are complaining about and stop being so defensive about it. “We got a keurig and good mattress.” Maybe you do but, everything else is absolutely trash. If you’re so defensive and annoyed about bad reviews that CLEARLY shows you do not care for improvement since you’re not understanding your customers and decide to argue and make yourself right .

Room seemed clean. Otherwise all I can say is the place is very dated and not well-maintained. Its a great example of why we shouldn't trust reviews. To say this is an 8/10 is ridiculous. And the bragging about tempurpedic beds is also ridiculous. They may be tempurpedic but the moment I sat on one it almost collapsed. The box spring and mattress fell off of whatever it was stacked on. The manager actually asked us if we needed the heat on. I didn't think that was optional. Set aside the fact that there was a party in the room next door...I recognize that can happen anywhere but no one took any action about it. Anyway it appears the owner will likely reply to counter everything I've said here, nevertheless I can assure you this is not an 8/10 accommodation.

There was no drinking water in the room and had to ask for the blankets which were not present in the room. Major concern... the motel room service telephone is not working. Hence, whenever you have any concerns, have to leave your room and go to the office to share anything with the staff.

This place is a dingy dive! Dont let the pictures and the reviews deceive you. There is no way this place deserves an 8 out of 10 rating. Upon arrival we had to wait several minutes for someone to open the office door so we could check in. Once in our room we realized the bathroom window had been left open so it was freezing in there. The thermostat didn’t work so…back to the office. He got it turned back on for us in short order. Upon first inspection I saw that the bathroom actually looked like it had been cleaned quite well. Things went downhill after that. Wanting to put leftovers in the fridge, we saw that the freezer was grossly filthy…we put them into our car. The rest of the room was no better. The curtains were hung all askew; the “white” upholstered chair was so full of stains and so dirty I didnt want to sit on it; one of the bedside lamps was totally disconnected so didn’t work, the floors had obviously not been vacuumed; and the way the beds were made up was so sloppy I wondered if the sheets had even been laundered since the last guests; and in the morning the keurig didn’t work…it needed to be descaled. They talk about the pride they take in their housekeeping…they obviously have a far different standard than the norm. I don’t know of anyone who would give this place
a rating any higher than 1/10. I would never return and do not recommend it to others.

Ok..I don’t ever do this, but this was so unbelievably ridiculous I can’t even understand how a place in that shape is allowed to operate..the pictures on Expedia are lies, the rooms are completely trashed, not deep cleaned at all, s*m*n stains on the floor, balcony door was smashed and taped up, stunk like mold in the room too..if there had been any more rooms available in sicamous I would have left, if I had an suv I would have slept in my vehicle, the smashing and banging around from the other people in there made it almost impossible to sleep…I could go on but these are the highlights….The owner was nice to speak to and they were polite people, I don’t have anything bad to say about them as humans but the condition of their motel on expedias pictures is dubious at best, I feel totally bamboozled into staying somewhere I’d have never chosen if they showed honest pictures needless to say I will never stay there again and I will tell everyone I know about this experience

The room wasn't clean. Coffee machine was dirty, carpets were definitely not vacuumed and the towels were still danp BUT the beds were very comfortable and the veiw was amazing. The price was good for the amenities provided.
