Ok..I don’t ever do this, but this was so unbelievably ridiculous I can’t even understand how a place in that shape is allowed to operate..the pictures on Expedia are lies, the rooms are completely trashed, not deep cleaned at all, s*m*n stains on the floor, balcony door was smashed and taped up, stunk like mold in the room too..if there had been any more rooms available in sicamous I would have left, if I had an suv I would have slept in my vehicle, the smashing and banging around from the other people in there made it almost impossible to sleep…I could go on but these are the highlights….The owner was nice to speak to and they were polite people, I don’t have anything bad to say about them as humans but the condition of their motel on expedias pictures is dubious at best, I feel totally bamboozled into staying somewhere I’d have never chosen if they showed honest pictures needless to say I will never stay there again and I will tell everyone I know about this experience

The room wasn't clean. Coffee machine was dirty, carpets were definitely not vacuumed and the towels were still danp BUT the beds were very comfortable and the veiw was amazing. The price was good for the amenities provided.

An older motel with great amenities - plush towels and tempurpedic mattress. It was clean, no mold, everything worked fine, and our unit had a microwave, toaster oven and Keurig. Great place for an overnight stay on our travel to the coast. Price was right, would stay here again.

Not a Clean room. Not making this up, there was Sh*t on the toilet paper. The Motel saves money by not renewing the toilet paper or shampoo. The armchair had interesting dirt spots. And the room in general had a low cleanliness standard.
My conclusion is that its a fine Motel for 40cad but not for 90cad…

Everything was fine, perfect for the price.

I don’t like nit picking thing’s, but the unit we stayed in had no water pressure to the tap to brush your teeth or wash hands.

More mats at the front entrance to the unit would be beneficial as well as we track a lot of water in after a day of snowmobiling.

Overall like I said for the price we couldn’t complain.

I’m conflicted. Some good and some bad but not all under your control. Check in was easy but I wasn’t provided with a wifi code and by the time I discovered a fire stick code was needed for the TV I gave up. The room was well furnished and comfortable. New towels and bed linen but not enough blankets as it was cold. The patio doors let in lots of cold air and the thermostat was set to 67 F useful microwave and fridge. No plug for the sink. My main complaint was the noise from the room above. The rooms have paper thin walls and creaky floorboards. The occupants of the room above talked loudly and had a drinking session with friends. OK but they didn’t check in until after 10pm. Midnight would have been acceptable but they then watched movies until 03.30 am at a sound level that kept me awake. Would I stay here again ? Probably not but the owners deserve credit for trying to make a nice motel

This place is a bit older, with some lipstick repairs here and there. Many things were stuck, squeaky, loose, or in slight disrepair. One big plus (1 star) is the beds were quite comfortable. The carpet also seemed new and clean (1 star).

The price was right (1 star) but the location was just okay. It's across the highway from a truckstop, and just far enough from town that you think you've driven past your hotel. Staff were laconic but accommodating. Overall, a decent hotel. I would stay here again.

Upon checking in my room it was not ready, I was advised they had another room which would be satisfactory. My children and I discovered the 2 queen beds i requested was not 2 queens. To describe the bathroom as small would be an understatement, the shower was not cleaned and multiple bottles of shampoo and a razor were left behind. The room had issues, lights that did not work, plug ins that did not work and circuits that were overloaded. The kitchenette had a coffee maker, small fridge and 2 burner stove , only 1 worked all plugged into the same extension cord from a receptical hanging from the ceiling. Unused items had to be unplugged so that others could be used. Eg unplugging the fridge if i wanted to make coffee. As i had booked a kitchenette i was expecting some compromise with appliances amenties that were provided. All of these issues my children and i could tollerate. On the second day of our stay the heat kept turning off it was late November temperature 2 degrees outside. I approached management 4 times in 3 hrs, requesting things be changed, fixed or refunded. I had a knock on my door from another care taker who advised he wished to look around the room because the heat turning off was my fault due to overload. The second care taker brought a space heater for heat , but this was not possible as the power kept shutting off. I requested a refund on my stay and in turn was offered a pizza dinner at a restaurant which was owned by the manager. Do not stay here.

I don’t like having to ask for ice. It was pouring rain and there is no way to get to the front door to ask for ice without getting wet, and there’s no phone in the room to request ice.
I also felt like I was disturbing the host having to ring the front bell.
But ice was delivered within 10 minutes to my door.

The owner Kash was very kind. He upgraded my room to ground floor to make it easier to accommodate my pups.
Beautiful sitting area under the giant silver willow. Nice chairs outside the patio door to my room. Well equipped basic kitchen setup. Keurig, microwave, hotplate, small fridge, toaster, dishes and cutlery.
Amazingly comfortable mattress on the one bed.
I will stay there again.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped — the hot water, A/C, and heat all worked perfectly. I especially appreciated the Keurig coffee maker, plenty of outlets for charging devices, and the strong Wi-Fi. The bed was very comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day.

The balcony was a real highlight, with chairs and a beautiful view of the nearby hills and mountains. The property itself is surrounded by peaceful fields of grass and trees, creating a scenic atmosphere.

The staff really made the experience special — the uncle and nephew who run the place are friendly and welcoming, and the housekeeper was warm and kind. Overall, it’s a great place to stay if you’re looking for comfort, hospitality, and some beautiful nature. Highly recommend!

Comfortable stay in a motel under renovation.

While this is an old property, which had been poorly maintained in years past, it has new ownership who is putting in the work and effort to rebuild this property into the Gem it once was. Some furnishings had been replaced in our room, the beds were very comfortable, and we had a great sleep after a weekend of Airbnb’s that cost a lot more and offered far less comfort.

The owner upgraded our room without being asked. The room itself was old and had lots of little things wrong with it but for an inexpensive stay it was fine. My biggest concern was the runners that they put down at the top of the stairs into the rooms were all curled up and a huge tripping hazard. Nothing a few staples or nails couldn’t rectify . The inside of the main door into the room was very dirty and just was questioning how clean everything else was.

This place was a plus after coming from the national Park. The owners are very nice very helpful very kind also waking up in the morning to The view both in the front yard and the backyard of the room is beautiful! Definitely would not mind coming back.
