The whole experience was very enjoyable. The room was comfortable and clean and the staff were friendly and inviting.
The breakfast each morning was expertly prepared and very delicious.

Ashley is a great cook very welcoming and she was a help to us by recommending great places to go eat and visit.

We also got really nice coffee mugs that we really like. They are very high quality for a very good price.

Overall this place is amazing and we would recommend it to anyone.

The Inn at Round Barn Farm was amazing. We stayed in the Richardson room and it was beautiful! Exposed wood beam ceiling, fireplace, huge bathroom area with a sky light visible from the shower. The grounds and gardens were beautiful with views everywhere!!

Breakfast both mornings was delicious, fresh, home-made. We ate outside and the view was spectacular!

Worth it for the Breakfast Alone

Stayed at the Inn while skiing in nearby Sugarbush. We found the location very convenient, being about a 10-15 min drive from leaving the driveway to being at the resort. In addition, their breakfast service is outstanding, with an always-changing menu of freshly prepared meals. Nothing better to prepare you for a hard day on the slopes like steak and eggs!

Stayed at the inn during a couple’s ski getaway. We really enjoyed the outstanding service we received. Upon arriving, we had a problem with our gas fireplace, causing our room to be chilly (this was an outstandingly cold day in the region). They had their site manager arrive promptly to fix the problem. They were eventually able to solve the issue, but they insisted on upgrading us to a bigger room with a nice gas fireplace and even offered to take our bags up to our room. If that wasn’t enough, there was a bottle of some great local cider waiting for us in the room along with two glasses. We had a nice cozy room and a nice gas fireplace to come back to after our days of hard skiing. Would definitely stay here again if I was in the region!

Reserved a room in this as it was on our way. Little did we expect what we saw. We checked in around 7:00 PM and was welcomed warmly by Andy and gave us a tour of the property. He helped us find a good restaurant for dinner. The property has a nice natural charm with a beautiful library, game room and a TV room. The view from our room was mind blowing. We woke up to a huge farm facing a lake and an apple tree. Andy took our meal preferences for our breakfast. Next morning, Judy helped us with breakfast. Being vegetarians, it was one of the best breakfasts we've had. It was served in a beautiful location with nice views. Unlike regular Inns, we were served very well in warm cups, real plates and silverware. Judy helped us with our routes and helped us side see some beautiful locations around. The fall colors were gorgeous. The staff in the farm/inn were very kind, accommodative and friendly. Would definitely go back to stay here and will make sure to stay longer.

Best Breakfast We’ve Ever Had

We had an exceptional stay at The Inn at the Round Barn Farm. We found the Jones Room charming; it fit our needs very well and had a “treehouse” rustic feel that added to the fun. The Inn is within reach of several of our favorite Vermont experiences, including Warren Falls, Vermont Icelandic Horse Farm, and American Flatbread.

Walking the grounds of The Round Barn each morning was a little slice of Vermont heaven, from picking ripe apples straight from the gnarly branch, to greeting heifers just over the fence line.

But we were most impressed by the delectable breakfast served hot each morning. Apple pancakes, farm fresh omelettes, pumpkin bread pudding, Southern “Buddha Bowl”...each dish was better than the last. We would go so far as to say this was the best we have ever eaten at a bed and breakfast, and made even more special enjoyed on a sunny September morning on the patio, watching the cows mosey across the dewy pasture.

We visit Vermont every year, and this was one of our most memorable accommodations. We will certainly be back. 10/10 would recommend.

when staying at a hotel you are paying for a good night sleep and a good shower. neither: the bed had a large dip in the middle and the noise from people walking above and the light that kept going on and off over our bed through a window. Not great. Tiny bathroom.

Fantastic stay

What a comfortable, special place to stay. Great breakfast, friendly owner and innkeepers, and lots of details that make you feel pampered. Cookies in the afternoon at 4pm, snacks at 5pm (shepherd's pie, fondue, roast beef points), tea and coffee anytime... Just what we needed after a day of skiing!

Lovely weekend at The Inn at the Round Barn

My fiancee and I had a wonderful long weekend at the Inn at the Round Barn. Usually visitors to Stowe, we decided to venture further south this time. The Inn is charming, cozy and comfortable. The shared facilities are well kept, and we had a great time playing pool. The rooms are lovely with comfy beds and lots of space. Breakfast was exemplary.

We arrived a little late and were told to use a key code to enter and retrieve our room key. The key code didn't work and we were locked out for a short time. The innkeeper was quickly able to assist us in getting inside. Everything else about our stay was simply outstanding. Gorgeous room, super clean and quiet. Staff in the morning made us an amazing breakfast and were so helpful. They even sent the watch my husband left on the nightstand free of charge. I can't wait to go back.

A week well spent!

We stayed at The Inn at the Round Barn Farm the last week in September 2015. It was an excellent stay! Great service and friendly people.

The morning breakfast was fantastic with a different meal each morning. Fruits, eggs, pancakes, special breads, etc. The cooks and staff put great effort into making each morning special. The dining room had a great view of the property which was outstanding.

The rooms was very comfortable and clean. Staff gave us recommendations on what to see in the area which were spot on as we came to see the fall colors and beauty of Vermont.

The only negative, not the fault of the Inn, was the lack of eating establishments in town which had very limited weekly hours. Maybe it was the time of year and they were gearing down as winter is approaching.

We met some great people from around the world staying at the Inn, and enjoyed their company in the evening in the game room/tv room. The Inn put out cookies, pie, and other assorted appetizers in the late afternoon and we enjoyed them sitting out on the back deck overlooking the property.

We would definitely come back to the Inn again and recommend to friends and family.

have to rely on shuttle otherwise ripoff price for cabs; Wi-Fi uses web log in, can be a pain; shower head old and poor quality
Although a bit of detour due to road works; the Inn sent emails to notify me and warned about road conditions; it turned out that Google Maps was totally updated about the necessary detour, so no big deal. High four-column bed very comfortable.
Make sure to check in before 8 pm or call the Inn to make arrangements.

Really Lovely Place to Stay!

Had a really nice time and would visit again. Loved learning about the history of the Round Barn. Unfortunately the renovation of the Village Bridge was going on so we had to detour to get around the town, but it was nice driving around the area. Visited Sugarbush resort which wasn't far away and the Icelandic Horse Trail Ride was absolutely amazing which is closeby. Highly recommend!

During a preview visit in the spring and mid December return for our son's wedding we were delighted by the charming rustic ambiance and scenic views of fields and mountains. The chef dazzled us with gourmet breakfasts and afternoon appetizers plus cookies, but the wedding food was even better! All the guests raved. Staff very helpful.

This Inn was like staying in the movie White Christmas.

We stayed in the Joslin Room, very beautiful and loved the jacuzzi tub after a long day on the slopes! Great breakfasts and very friendly and welcoming staff, we loved it! Would definitely stay here again!

Great in near Sugarbush

I stayed here with my girlfriend for one night so we could be close to Sugarbush Mountain. It was a short stay but really enjoyed the Inn. Everyone was really friendly and the breakfast was great.

Wonderful hospitality and comfort! Internet did not work, but that was the only negative... Will return in a heartbeat if there were no requirements for a 3 day minimum stay!( was waved, thos time!) great breakfast!!!!

A for effort

This is a charming hotel, albeit in the middle of nowhere. Its really nicely appointed with wonderful individual rooms. And they could be more accommodating. They emailed us in advance and asked us about dietary preferences and then went out of their way to prepare something for us (we are Kosher). If I have a critisism they are too helpful, at breakfastr we just wanted fruit and cereal but instead of just giving it to us, they \"prepared\" it which was lovely but irritating. If you are thinking of using this as a base for visiting Ben & Jerry's it is just a few minutes u[p the road.

Creative hotel from Barn conversion

We had a very good stay. The only issue with this Inn is the walls are very thin so one hears noises from adjoining rooms. Not very pleasant. The service was great, the staff very congenial and willing to please and lots of little touches like tea and cookies, wine and nibbles. Great view out the back and pleasant dining room.
