Good nights sleep in a pleasant hotel

We enjoyed our stay. Comfortable hotel with interesting decor. The reception staff were very helpful & friendly. Secure parking for our motorcycle which is important to us. Lively town to walk round & we chose to eat out, although the restaurant menu looked good & was a reasonable price. Really enjoyed the breakfast & would recommend to others passing through.
Out night was a reasonable price & much more enjoyable, and cheaper than in the 2* hotel we stayed in the following night!

Hotel with quite a grand foyer and sweeping staircase. Large comfortable room. Spotlessly clean. Complimentary bottled water in minibar was most welcome. Excellent value. Free parking outside hotel. The restaurant is not open on Sundays nor on the Saturday I stayed because of a large function The snack bar was also crowded so you may need to eat outside the hotel. Perhaps best to check with the hotel beforehand. However the receptionist can recommend a place nearby. The hotel is a 20 minute walk from the centre of town.

Easy hotel for overnight stop

We enjoyed stopping here on our drive through La Mancha. The rooms were spacious and clean. The bar and restaurant had good service and great local menu items to try at a good price.

Hotel was lovely, very comfortable. Not the very best location. Very easy to find, but a good way to main town.
Restaurant ,bar cafe closed on Sunday nights. No room service.No local restaurants nearby. 20 minute walk to nearest places to eat.

A solid choice is Ciudad Real

This was a perfect hotel for a one night stopover between Córdoba and Madrid. The price was appropriate and the free wifi and parking were both appreciated. It was an easy 15-20 minute walk to Plaza Mayor with all the shops and restaurants.

Wow. the staircase

We have been before and just love this hotel.
First it has secure free parking.
The entrance is lovely full of interesting features.
The room was very comfortable had a free mini bar with soft drinks.
The shower just fabulous jets every where.
Breakfast had everything. Cereal,fruit yougart. Pastry loads of breads meat cheese and boiled eggs. All this for €45

Overall, nice stay

I was in the city for a business trip. It's a small city so everything can be done walking (Except if it's too hot!). It's a great location for people that have to work in the university. The hotel is beautiful and clean. bummer,it doesn't offer any room service option when the kitchen is closed. It's something I was expecting from a 4 stars hotel!! In my case I arrived at 5 pm and there was nothing to eat at all until 8.30 pm!....same thing around the hotel (all kitchens were closed)

Clean and busy hotel in a somewhat sterile area

A nice hotel with a variety of room sizes, the smallest of which is quite cramped. Opt for a larger room if you have the choice. A limited continental breakfast was included. Considering the hotel is located close to two universities, the area seemed surprisingly devoid of coffee shops, tapas bars, and restaurants.

Beautiful hotel and a great price

We stayed here at the end of our honeymoon trip to Southern Spain and Cuidad Real was on our way back to the Madrid Airport. Hotel Dona Carlota was the highest rated hotel we saw and at 42 euros was a steal. The hotel is beautiful, the staff extraordinary, and the location is good -- across from the university. My only complaint is that there aren't too many eating options within walking distance and the hotel restaurant, while very elegant, was expensive. (our dinner was more than our hotel bill)

Nice hotel

Really nice hotel, friendly English speaking reception large room and bathroom with a fabulous shower. Breakfast was great only down side being the coffee was dispensed from a machine and not fresh. Bed was large but two queens pushed together where we would prefer a full double or king. Overall though very happy with the 3 nights we stayed there.

En la habitación no funcionaba el aire acondicionado, he pasado mucho calor y más cuando durante la tarde el sol deba directamente a la ventana.
Explican que el sistema de aire es centralizado y no se enciende, si no a determinada temperatura de la calle.....

From the reception to the bed it was very bad. Very slow check in with no information about the hotel or city. Restaurant closed. Not friendly area. Pillow were super hard and not cosy. You got the feeling to be in a dorm room with your neightbours. Noise until 2am. Then in the morning super slow check out without any concern. You add better option in the city center.

En la recepción del hotel te convencen a diestro y siniestro que no reserves por agencia que lo hagas directamente con ellos, te medio obligan a rellenar una hoja y te dicen que mejor no lo hagas con agencia, a día de hoy está gente ha vivido de las agencias ahora quieren vivir por libre y se están equivocando.

Hotel agradável longe da confusão com bom pequeno-almoço.

No entanto diria que não chega para 4 estrelas apesar da boa relação qualidade-preço.

As TVs são muito pequenas e mal orientadas, dependendo de como estão fixadas na parede.

A Wi-Fi também tem problemas e foi necessário mudar de quarto para poder ter acesso.

O pessoal é simpático e sempre tentou minimizar os problemas.

Camas cómodas y cuarto de baño completo con muy buena ducha. Desayuno bueno y muy completo.
No hay edredón ni mantas en las camas, las encuentras hechas con una triste sábana y por Covid ventanas abiertas de par en par a tu llegada, asi que, si tienes frio coges la manta del armario y te haces tú la cama. En recepción una sola persona atendiendo, casi 10 minutos de espera para check-in.

Nice hotel:perfect parking,safe locker, refrigera

It was OK, very often when we go Lisbon to Valência we rest in Ciudad Real, and this is our favorite place to say, quiet, clean. With a very good electronic safe locker to hide a 15.6\" PC with a charging plug inside. It means you can leave your electronics charging inside the locker. Even our locker in Barceló Valencia was large. This refrigerator was really working well

Muy buen hotel

Una pena que no esté situado en una zona más céntrica de la ciudad, porque es un hotel que tiene habitaciones muy amplias, con camas cómodas y grandes y con baño también amplio. El desayuno, si bien no es excelente, está bastante bien para el precio que tiene. El personal correcto. Volvería sin duda.

Ciudad Real : sans intérêt

Hotel parfait bien que Ciudad Real n'est pas une ville à visiter en comparaison d'autres villes espagnoles. Seules autour de cette ville se trouvent quelques visites intéressantes proches des lacs. Des anciens châteaux en ruines témoins de grandes batailles contre les Maures.

Acogedor hotel, tranquilbien situado, buen parking

Confortable hotel en la zona universitaria, a 15 min del centro. La habitación muy amplia (incluso disponíamos de cocina), además de baño salón, recibidor y dormitorio.
Tiene un parking gratuito muy amplio pero, además por fuera del hotel se aparca muy fácil.
Las camas son amplias y cómodas con varias almohadas para elegir. Y también un buen detalle del hotel es la gratuidad de las bebidas de la nevera. Por poner algún pero decir que sólo hay un tv en el salón y no en la habitación y que además es bastante pequeño (unas 20 -23 pulgadas más o menos). Y otra cosa que eché en falta es dentro del desayuno buffet por 6€ ( muy bien de precio) que no hubiese nada caliente para comer. No obstante más que aceptable.
Si volvemos algún día a Ciudad Real, este hotel será parada obligatoria.

Albergo un po' old fashion ma camere pulite anche se un po troppo calde.La colazione di sicuro per un 4 stelle potrebbe essere molto migliorata nella qualità dei dolci, della varieta del cibo e magari con l'utilizzo di moderne macchinette con cialde per un caffè decente.
