Lovely hotel, great location and fantastic facilities (breakfast, spa and bar). Celine on the front desk was great, helping us out with lots of local knowledge and Frankie in the bar is a real professional and a great guy, he made us feel so welcome and makes an awesome cocktail. 100% would stay again.

Really liked this hotel, the staff were really kind and friendly and were super helpful. The room was clean and spacious and had all the amenities you would like and the location was perfect. My only slight niggle was that the pool was quite small and cold and there were no locker facilities so you just had to leave your clothes in a room which felt a little unsecure. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.
On a sidenote, I would never fly from Brussels Charleroi Airport ever again. I would always get the Eurostar. The airport was difficult to get to and we had to wait in three separate queues for three hours to fly for one hour back to England.

This is one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. Dead quiet, I know there were other guests but i never heard them. It's an elegant old building but the rooms have been made ultra modern. I loved the king size bed and the beautiful bathroom. Location is perfect.

Our stay at the Navarra Hotel in Bruges was absolutely incredible. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the warm welcome and attention to detail. The member of staff went above and beyond to make our stay special nothing was too much trouble..
The rooms were spotless, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable, with every little touch thought of to make us feel at home. What really sets this hotel apart, though, is the atmosphere. It feels luxurious yet relaxed, elegant yet inviting. Whether we were enjoying the facilities, relaxing in our room, or exploring the surroundings, we felt completely cared for.

This is a difficult review because most of the stay was fabulous. The room was comfortable, clean and well-laid out. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and felt like an oasis after a day in town filled with a million other tourists.
The issue I had was before we arrived, we received a message through the hotels.com website saying the hotel could not pre-authorize our payment, so our room may not be available. I immediately called hotels.com to try to rectify the situation. Although I was unable to call the hotel directly I emailed them. Got another message telling me the credit card was invalid (they had a credit card that was not even mine). Hotels.com kept trying to reach them but the front desk said they were too busy to help. It was finally resolved after the third hotels.com rep asked to speak to a manager. It was very inconvenient because we were in another location, trying to enjoy it but I kept having to stop and call hotels.com. And, I might add that the front desk of the hotel was not very busy much of the time while I was there. Some training is needed. It left a bad taste in my mouth.

Probably sixth or seventh time of staying at this hotel. Very convenient for town center with enough facilities for most stays. One problem, i always book careful to mention my mobility problems so no stairs, long walks or high floors. Unfortunately these conditions had not been met this time and, after inspecting the room initially offered, we caused problems by having to request an alternate room.

Our stay at Hotel Navarra was wonderful! It is in a great location, just a quick 4 minute walk to the main square. Although it is on a busy road, they provide earplugs if you are sensitive to noise when sleeping like I am. The hotel is beautiful, well maintained for a historic building, and has a lovely garden we utilized at night to enjoy some drinks and the nice summer weather. Bonus for the on-site parking and the helpful and courteous staff! Would recommend Hotel Navarra to anyone visiting Brugge.

Nice hotel but hospitality wasn’t great for my experience. The front desk changed my room when they saw I was a solo traveller and was moved to a smaller room on the ground floor. Walls paper thin, could hear the neighbours beside and above. Beds and pillows are very firm. If you are booking thru Expedia there will be additional taxes you will have to pay. This is a no extra frills hotel. No water or coffee in the lobby and 28 euro for one breakfast. There are better hotels to stay at.

Beautiful 4 star property. We had a large room, modern in an historic building. Super clean, great beds. We used the swimming pool and sauna. Great location, terrific cafes, coffee shop, and chocolate shop just down the block.

The hotel itself is a converted from a mansion/guild hall. Our room, which we got for a good rate, was small, but very quiet, nicely decorated, comfortable and clean. I used the pool, which was fun. It's in a cellar and has a lovely echo. You have to warn them half an hour before if you want to use the sauna, since they have to turn it on. Staff is polite and helpful.

This hotel was in a perfect location to the center of the city. We were able to walk everywhere and see all the sights with ease. Being on a major street, it was a little busy, but not so much we were bothered. The horse drawn carriages came by every morning and the clippity clop of their hooves on the cobblestone street was delightful!

The property is beautiful & old so the layout is odd. It is clean and in a great location within walking distance to the main sites. It is on a busier street however and the noise from the restaurants, people, garbage trucks was too much (they include earplugs in your room if that’s an indicator). You can find quieter hotels within the same distance to the main square as I have previously when in Brugge. The staff were generally nice, however, they force you to allow them in your room even when you have the sign up you do not want cleaning services that day. I had my trash cleared/maid service the day before when the very next day, while I was sleeping in, I got knocks on my door as well as a call from reception after I did not answer the door saying they need to take my trash out. I said u have my sign up plus I had it done yesterday & reception said they still need to empty the trash today. Also, they forced my fellow travelers to let them in their room to monitor & document the mini fridge contents. Every other day someone must come in to monitor the mini fridge regardless. They were also forced for cleaning when they had put their sign up that they did not want it. Overall, it’s pretty & clean, but not being able to be in my room on vacation without being disturbed, being forced to allow someone in when I’ve asked not to be bothered, and the traffic noise on the street it’s on, I would not stay here again.

For a 4 star hotel, very disappointed that the bar had to be closed 2 consecutive nights because bar manager off sick.
Also apparently no one else in the hotel had the training to deal with alcohol requests via room service.
Surely anyone over 18 is able to pour a shot from a spirit bottle and take the cap off a bottle of coke !!!!

Really lovely hotel, but don’t come for the spa
The hotel room was lovely and the common spaces were very nice too. Weirdly, nowhere to get a hot drink in the hotel (other than the mini kettle in your room) before 4pm though.
The “spa” was disappointing - it’s essentially a very small communal sauna (seats 4 people in a cosy manner) and a cold small swimming pool (no loungers or space to sit). We went down to the spa once and didn’t go back.
I would still return, but would give the spa a miss and so wouldn’t book here if the spa is a big draw for you (as it was for us).

Weekend stay at the Navarra
An excellent stay at the Navarra. The hotel is spotless and the staff are a credit to it. The hotel is situated a couple of minutes walk from the main square in Brugge and easy distance to the transport systems. After a hard day sightseeing and shopping you can relax in a very friendly bar being run by “Frankie”. He has a wealth of local knowledge and a very competent photographer. Thanks for the suggestions on photo locations.

Very nice hotel, clean comfortable and with friendly staff, especially the bar manager Frankie. Great location to the main square and would stay there again on next visit to Bruce.
