Very tired hotel in need of re-furbishment and a lot of TLC. Unlike other Campaniles we’ve stayed in, there was no tea/coffee or kettle in the room, nor hairdryer. The toilet seat was not secured to its bowl. Despite advertising its wi-fi service, we were advised by the manager that none was available ( I needed to use it for business reasons- very frustrating) Breakfast was a mere shadow of what we have been used to in Campaniles, in the past. Poor value for money.

Our shower was broken in the first room they gave us and although we were given another room don,t think they were happy about us changing.

We stay at St. Maur every year on our way south on our first night in France.We booked in advance and were expected on arrival. Very friendly welcome and the restaurant stayed open a little late to give us a meal.Room as clean and comfortable as ever and we had a very good night. Enjoyed breakfast. Cost very reasonable .

My wallet was stolen out of my back pocket at the Paris train station. Left me with very little cash and no credit cards. I did not even know if I would be able to check in at the hotel once I arrived in Chateauroux. But the hotel manager on duty was super nice and helpful. He not only allowed me to have my room, but also offered to buy my dinner. THANK YOU!! Yes I recommend this hotel. I will be back

Easy and straight forward to book on line. The rooms are basic, very clean and with everything you need. The staff were extremely pleasant. Good meal in the restaurant, good value also. We always go for the Campanile chain as you know the standard will be good.

Nous avons occupé la chambre 36 .Dans la rubrique confort , il est stipulé que chaque chambre est équipée d une climatisation individuelle , hélas on avait beau régler le thermostat , cette soit disant clim. ne faisait que du bruit , nous aurions beaucoup apprécié , car nous étions dans un four ( canicule t°extérieur 36 °), je vais voir à la réception la jeune fille me dis que la climatisation ne sert que pour chauffer en hiver., je lui fait part également de l état de la lunette des WC, complétement disloquée , elle prend note , derrière la porte de la salle de bain, de la saleté c est accumulée depuis x temps ,la porte du sas d entrée pas de poignet ?
si la porte claque vous êtes coincé soit à l’extérieur soit à l intérieur .L établissement propose un parking totalement sécurisé ? Un écriteau vous signal que le parking n est pas gardé !

Concept de la salle de bain/piscine étonnant (sol et receveur même niveau, bonde et carrelage pas agréable aux pieds, pas de rideau de douche), j’ai pataugé pour finir la toilette. Rideau peu occultant et lumière extérieure toute la nuit : c’est gênant pour bien dormir.

Hôtel très bruyant, pas de volets avec une lumière constante toute la nuit, confort très spartiate, pas de restaurations. Hotel très vieillissant, accueil moyen à mon arrivée, rattrapé le lendemain matin par ce qu'il semble être la responsable. Petit déjeuner juste passable.

Etape un jeudi soir. Pas loin de l autoroute. Grand parking. Accueil professionnel par une gentille stagiaire. La chambre agréable etait bien chauffée. Bonne literie. Salle d eau très fonctionnelle, très grande douche. Seul bemol pas de balayette wc et chasse d eau bruyante. Le tout est très très propre.Très bon petit petit déjeuner varié et bien garni même si nous étions les derniers. Tres bon rapport qualité/ prix. En face de l l'hôtel un resto charmant pour grande ou petite faim avec reduc pour les clients de l hôtel .
