It was an interesting stay for us. Driving Vegas to seattle and this hotel was the only one suitable for us. It was perfect. Love the dog at the reception and the receptionist was really helpful. Rooms were clean and nice for the price.

DO NOT STAY HERE! The place is filthy dirty and we felt unsafe. I should have turned around and immediately left after seeing a large dirty dog sprawled across the registration counter. I finished the registration for the room, passing the paperwork over the smelly dog. The man behind the counter with dirty hair wore a filthy stained sweatshirt. The room had a broken safety latch on the door. Breakfast was served in the small space next to the stinky lobby and it was obvious the counters had not been wiped down for days. The selection of breakfast items was poor. I was dumb for not immediately turning around and walking out the minute I stepped into the dismal lobby. A health department inspection, safety inspection and fire inspection is needed. Days Inn should be embarrassed to have this as one of their listed hotels.

Absolutley terrible place. Spiders in the bathroom, the room smelt like an old dog bed and bud not match the pictures. Gym in pictures was actually across town and not onsite. I didn’t even stay the night, I drove 3 hours to the next town and stayed there. Would love a refund if that was an option!

The gym listed on Hotels.com does not exist. When I asked about it at check-in, staff told me it was “across the street,” but the only things across the street were a bank and a parking lot.

At check-in, there was a large white, very dirty dog lying on the front desk counter. The employee didn’t even ask the dog to move, so I had to reach over it just to hand him my credit card.

The smell in the lobby was overwhelming. It strongly resembled dirty socks and another odor that anyone familiar with drug activity would likely recognize.

The “continental breakfast” was unacceptable. It consisted of filthy toast equipment, a countertop that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months (see attached photo), a cereal container, and no milk available.

The staff member was friendly and offered me a larger room than the one I booked, but as we walked toward it he stopped me and said the room hadn’t been cleaned after two very large dogs stayed there the night before.

I was moved to a different room on the ground floor. It was at least clean, but it clearly needed maintenance. There were multiple areas with chipped paint, an unexplained heat/light switch, and a strange half-taped hole in the wall.

Overall, the property looked nothing like the photos online. This is one of those situations where “scratch-and-sniff” internet technology would have been helpful.

Extremely over priced for pets, especially with the quality of the hotel (which is really an old motel, probably a motel 6 in the past). The breakfast is hardly what I would call breakfast. Bread and yogurt and that's about it. The walls are thinner than you can imagine, very out dated and noisy. Definitely not worth $300 for two nights. The maid was super friendly. The office manager person was odd and unavailable. Our keys stopped working after one night and we had to wait until he was back to get our keys reprogrammed. Luckily the maid was around to let us in our room on a Sunday.

This was probably my worst experience in my entire life at a hotel. I actually never got to stay in the room. I booked this room for my work crew knowing they would be showing up after hours. I called and made sure that the hotel was aware of the fact that they would be arriving after hours. When my crew showed up nobody would let them in the front door. Finally the front desk person came outside and started screaming at my crew and telling them he was going to kick their butts if they did not leave the property. My crew explained that they had a room and it already been paid for and they were supposed to have a late arrival. The front desk person told them to f off and leave. My crew left and checked into a nearby hotel. I contacted the front desk over the phone and asked why my crew was denied a room and I was told to f off and then hung up on. I contacted Expedia about my experience and they informed me they have had many complaints about this location. I also got a hold of the sheriff here in town this is a very small community and I was told by the sheriff that they have been out to that property on numerous occasions and they know that the man who works the front desk is a real problem with customers. They were sending a sheriff out again today to talk to him. He's very threatening and denied as lodging. I travel a lot and have never experienced anything like this in my life and I am 63 years old. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.. property is ran down.

The room had no heat. The unit had a remote control, had a setting for 'cool' and 'fan' but no heat. Wall switch was placarded 'AC' and 'Heat\". With the switch placed in 'Heat', the unit shut down completely. 10-hours driving on the road, tired, and decided just rough it. Woke up to 24-degrees outside, 40s inside.

Absolutely Frightening Stay – Avoid at All Costs

We ended our 14-day road trip at Days Inn by Wyndham Burns, and this was by far the worst lodging experience of our trip. If we hadn’t prepaid and driven seven hours, we would have kept going home.

Front Desk Chaos:
•Staff eating at the counter, surrounded by hoses, crumbs, and garbage.
•Seemed confused about check-in.
•Pool padlocked with hoses tangled around it; “might be unlocked if you insist.”

Property Issues:
•No WiFi.
•Many long-term residents; random items scattered everywhere.
•Crumbling sidewalks.

Room Nightmares:
•Key cards required 2–3 attempts.
•Bugs everywhere: cockroaches/other insects inside, flies in the room, yellowjackets outside.
•Cracked bathroom tiles and strange object above the TV.
•Employee repeatedly peered into our room.
•Foul smells: strong Lysol fading to dead-animal odor.
•Neighbor’s dog barked all night; flies made sleep impossible.

Breakfast Disaster:
•Same crumbs and garbage as the day before.
•Only basic loaf of bread—no muffins, pastries, or real options.

Other Concerns:
•Key card rules inconsistent; unattended cards left at the front desk.
•For the price, this was unacceptable. Half of what we paid in Elko, Nevada gave us an excellent stay, and Coalville, Utah, felt nearly like luxury.

Bottom Line:
This hotel needs new management, a total overhaul, and accurate advertising. Avoid unless you want a frightening, filthy, and stressful experience.

Staff was pleasant, but rooms are run down and dirty. Paint is bad and floors are extremely dirty. I am not sure about bed linens. I paid $165 for a room for one night which was twice as much as they have should charged. Only one light in the bedroom area (no overhead, one very small bed table lamp. . Refrigerator did not work. Common ares are dirty and run down. Breakfast was poor (nothing hot, no fruit, and dirty facilities). I am surprised at the Expedia good reviews. I am learning to not trust Expedia reviews. Worst hotel experience ever had.

The staff was nice and helpful. However, excuses were made instead of apologies when obvious flaws negatively affected my stay:

1. The air conditioner was too high for me to reach and 85 in the room -staff said the room was old and so it had no remote;

2. there were huge, flying insects all over my room and the hotel - Staff said, \"There are bugs in the desert (shrug)\".

3. Although he told me the room he gave me was \"brand new\", the bathroom floor had muddy shoe prints and the walls were bare sheet rock with no paint.

4. The refrigerator whined high pitch all night and the microwave would not open.

5. Booking this hotel with hotels.com gave me no option to search for or choose a handicap or downstairs room.

6. There was so little parking, my only choice given was half mile away (cant do - I am disabled), or the janitors spot so close to a fence and a ladder and items, I was worried about fitting in and out. Staff said he could move his car, and I could take his spot, but then witbout talking to me again, he went inside and didnt help or move at all.

7. There were no available plugs for phone charging on bed. I had to plug it in 5 feet away by unplugging a lamp.

8. Also, electric old, so you cant use the hair dryer or the bathroom plugs while running the ac, and they left a note (paraphrasing): \"dont do it or blow the breakers in building. \"

After checking in, we arrived to our room and the door was wide open. Our room was not clean…even to my teenage son’s standards! The hotel was occupied by many men who were making sexual comments to me. The room also did not have a dead bolt. Due to this, I left!!! Drive another 3 hours and paid for another hotel. The pictures are no where near the reality of this hotel. I was so scared I left having a panic attack and failed to take pictures because my priority was getting my family out safely!!

We chose this hotel because it had a pool, but the pool was quite cold and had yellow blogs floating on it so we didn't swim. After the kids took baths, dried, walked to the beds, their feet were filthy, so we rewashed their feet with the same result. I washed the floor, but it never really got clean. It needed to be mopped. Bedding and towels were clean.

We had to make the two-room reservation during our road trip because of a large fire that required us to reroute. The entire property was in disrepair. Pool was empty and did not look good...empty beer cans and cracked concrete with a traffic cone and table at the bottom of the pool. Every door in the building was open and people were drinking in the parking lot. It was obvious that people were \"living\" in these filthy rooms. We walked by two open rooms that smelled terrible. Front desk guy was also \"cleaning\" rooms....well that's what he called it. There is no way I would have slept in any one of the rooms. We left and had to ride 4 more hours to Pendleton to find another room. We had to search the bottom floor to find the guy to let him know we were leaving. He said he couldn't refund the rooms because we had booked through 3rd party. This dump needs to be demolished. Party of 4 very disappointed that Expedia would even have this listed on their site. Do better !!!!

The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. The AC turned on and off every 10 seconds and never stayed on or cooled down the room. The toilet is so low to the ground you couldn’t get up easily. There was a large round stain on the floor that looked like a piss stain. This property is being remodeled. We got there and the air conditioning didn’t work, but staff really tried to help. Limited outlets. Limited places to stay in Burns with a pet, but on the return trip, we chose to drive the two hours further to Ontario Oregon to get a decent hotel for less price. We canceled our return trip reservation in Burns, but only got a partial refund. Will not stay here again.

TERRIBLE!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! We had to make a last minute reservation and this was the only place in Burns available so we had little choice in the matter.Opened the room and bed was unmade (although looked as in they hadn't been actually slept in, more like passed out on), used bath towels on the floor and someone's doodled papers on the desk. Room obviously wasn't touched after the last occupants. Unfortunately since it was so late, and we had been on the road for 14 hours already, we opted to tidy up the room ourselves and slept fully clothed. I'm still a smoker(yes, I know), so I stepped out before going to bed to have a final cigarette, and i watched a drug deal go down right in front of me, and obvious druggies hanging out all over the property. Worst dump EVER!!!

This property is old and not well maintained and nothing like the photos or info on the expedia site.
The pool is no more and in general is nowhere near what a person would expect for the price.

This room was disgusting there was mold in the bathroom around the window seal someone’s used soap was also on the window seal there was McDonald’s hamburger under the ice bucket and a used wash cloth behind the toilet the shower was dirty and the room smelled like smoke I can’t even believe this is a Wyndham hotel worst ever 1 star less if possible absolutely the nastiest hotel I have ever stayed in and will never be back GROSS

There walls were paper thin, floors were very dirty, found blood droplets on the walls and floor, and they couldn't give us a key card for the room because they didn't have enough.

This was the only place with a vacancy in Burns on this night. When we arrived, it took a good 10 minutes for the staff to come out to the desk to check us in. He was so stoned he could barely stand up. He checked us in but wasn't able to provide a key to our room and had to let us in because their key cards had all gone missing and they had another check in coming that night. Once he walked us to the room, right next to the office he pointed out that the security latch had been removed because it didn't work. When we went to shower, the ceiling looked as though it were going to cave in and had been shoddily repaired previously for that reason. The floor was filthy, leaving black on the towel under our feet after getting out of the shower. The water would go from molten lava to Arctic ice without touching the controls. There were dead spiders in the picture on the wall between the picture and the glass in the frame. At 5am we were woken up by a dog that didn't stop barking until we left at 7:30. My husband forgot his hat and had to go back for it and the dog was still barking. Come to find out, it was the staffs dog. If I could give negative stars, I would! I think we should have just slept in the truck.

It’s older but bed was clean. The bed was uncomfortable but not real bad
Restaurant is just next door good access
Overall I will still stay there, it is one night and halfway home

Well I would say the front desk clerk was excellent and the hotel could do an up grade very badly they had chairs in the room one was soaking wet and dirty and the other one was filthy wouldn’t set in them Bed was ok and water was hot and I made coffee in the room the coffee maker was dirty
