It was odd not having a personal front desk receptionist to check you in. The front desk receptionist was in a remote location. Although he was pleasant during the check in process. I’d have concerns regarding safety. As a woman traveling alone, I’d have concerns. The front desk person is the first to trouble shoot for any potential problem. There is no one to police the lobby if any unwanted guest decides to come into the building and do harm.

This is the second Wyndham property that I have stayed at within the past year. Both times I was given a room on the first floor. Both times, noise has been an issue throughout the night. Please consider soundproofing the rooms that are close to the main entrance. It makes it difficult to sleep when you have to listen to every set of steps that enters or exits the building, all of the conversations with staff, and just anything else that typically happens in the lobby. I don't appreciate paying close to $200 for one night in a room with that condition. Next time I stay at Wyndham, I'm going to make sure they can provide a room farther away from the lobby. I haven't had this issue at other hotels.
Also, why pay to have staff present if all they are going to do is have you check in on a digital screen with a different staff member on a webcam? Don't get me wrong, it is a good thing physical staff exist. I would hope that a physical person is there at all times in the event security is needed. With 24/7 lobby access to the building, digital staff don't guarantee safety.

I said I could easily get it to work. She deferred me to her boss who rudely told me, \"I could watch the game in my room.\" Disappointing. It is a nice sitting area which is being underutilized. The only recommendation about breakfast is to offer some hot items as other local hotels offer eggs and sausage or bacon. This is strictly continental breakfast.
The room was extremely comfortable - the bed/mattress was clean and comfy. The shower was awesome - hot with plenty of pressure and had the body wash, and shampoo readily available.
We would definitely stay here again. Just a few minor items I called out.

Terrible Experience!! Attempted to check in late due to airline TSA chaos and other downstream issues and hotel had already decided to cancel my multi night stay “per policy”. They refused to work with me, told me their hands were tied because I booked through Hotels.com. When I contacted Hotels.com they also told me their hands were tied because hotel has to make the call. Complete runaround from both parties and ZERO help to resolve the issue, however they were very happy to pocket my prepaid stay of hundreds of dollars but when I needed customer service, there was none to be found and both lazily hid behind their “policies”. What a complete sham. Neither party even attempted to help. So time to move on from Hotels.com and Days Inn. Ironically I have been a loyal customer for 10+ years but that wasn’t considered either. A completely disgraceful experience all around.

I stayed here because I was seeing a game at Fenway South. Great location that is close to the ballpark. Clean hotel with nice pool and easy parking. Room was spacious and clean. My only complaint is that there is no one at the front desk. You check in with a kiosk and there is no front desk staff. I had questions I wanted answered and there was no one to talk to in person. Overall, still a good experience and would stay again.

The staff attending breakfast was awesome. The staff cleaning rooms, I interacted with in the hallway, were very friendly. There is not a person at the front desk, there is a monitor with a dude on it welcoming guests to the hotel and doing “check in “. I had to talk to him again when my door would not open and he sent “a member of his staff” to change the battery after a new key didn’t work either. He was actively working on the door when we left. He was good. Before getting to the hotel I received 7 messages saying my reservation is confirmed. Two more after checking out. These were from the hotel itself. So just a few weird things, but comfy bed and room.

I was without Internet for the majority of my stay. When I talked with staff I was told my room was the only room without the Internet. I do not feel that I was taken seriously. Eventually they brought in someone else who had to change the service for all of the floors. I then had a extremely slow and Internet service. There was no staff at the front desk. When you walked in there was a computer screen and a man came up on video. He clearly didnt check us in 100% correctly because i got a call on my phone at 3am asking when we were checking in when we were already in the room trying to sleep. Then at 4am, house keeping barged in our room! But i was charged for the room. Maybe they need real workers at the hotel not on zoom.

The hotel itself was ok and the room was nice - seemed pretty new. however the amenities were not good - not even lotion or anything in the bathroom. one tiny shampoo bottle - and things like no towel racks in the bathrooms, very very stark - not comfy feeling at all. also during check-in it's 100% automated - using machine and just a guy that hung around on his cell phone who could answer questions - couldn't even tell he worked there - NO badge with name on it - nothing. And finally the breakfast was a joke - other than the thick waffles you make yourself - some dry bread to make toast, coffee cups the size of a bathroom cup - no fruit except for a little yogurt. I would not stay there again or at a Days Inn if they are like this one.

Check in was only through a computer video with a foreigner that can’t speak English. Had emergency and needed to check out one day early and wouldn’t give credit for the day cancelled. There is no staff ever at the front desk. The sheets on the bed had hairs in it so they don’t change the sheets. There is no working telephone in the room. There were people partying outside my window on the first floor for over 90 minutes lat night keeping me awake and there is no security there. I finally had to call the hotel number on my cell phone to complain and got some non English speaking foreigner to complain and nothing was done to break up the crowd. Terrible hotel.
