Toilet paper roll was falling out of wall. Toilet seat was broken. Fan was so loud and rattling that I thought it was coming out of ceiling. Bathroom floor was dirty and shower curtain torn. Telephone did not work to call front desk. There was a puppy next door that kept me awake. The staff was friendly during check in. Explained to us about door being hard to open and how to get it open! It was stuck a lot.

How this hotel got high marks is totally beyond me. It is a standard 70's motel - through the wall noisy A/C, no apparent attempt to mitigate noise, bathroom tub/shower had fiberglass flaking off, TINY pillows, uncomfortable bed, etc. Definitely won't start here again, and won't recommend to anyone I know.

Area is sketchy at best. We were afraid and slept little with people in the parking outside our door. The room had an odor, filthy bathroom floor and generally shabby furnishings. The only thing positive was the rate, which should have been a Big Clue. Canceled the second night and left the area. Had we arrived earlier in the evening, we would have cancelled that first night as well. In the morning, there were men sitting on and around our vehicle. Couldn’t wait to get out of there.

Front desk was great. Bed was comfortable, neighbors quiet. However, the lights between the bed and the clock radio were unplugged with no easy access to the outlets. But the capper was the leftover used washcloth left hanging over the curtain rod, and the dried nasal discharge on the wall of the shower (I went right to bed and did not discover these until the morning). I didn’t expect the world for what I paid, but I expected better than this.

Bugs, Stains, Prostitutes, Horrible Experience

Checking in was quick and easy. They deduct an extra $100 to hold in case there are damages. If not, you get it back. However, there were easily a dozen cigarette burns on the comforter. I don't know what they are doing with the money but it's not replacing damaged items.
Then, about midnight, a lady spent 10 minutes screaming at her significant other for being in a room with a prostitute.
When we woke up and went to take a shower, it was cut short by the stains (smelled like fecal matter) on the towels. All of them. And bugs everywhere. A wolf spider on the bed when we woke up. Bugs in the bathroom, on the furniture. Absolutely horrid.

Pros: the bed was clean and comfortable. The room was also clean.

Cons: There was no hot water in the shower. The coffee in the room and the continental breackfast was awful. The breakfast was a joke. The breakfast is served right in the little lobby and the entire time i was trying to get my kids fed the front desk attendent was sitting on a couch in the lobby watching a political news station on the massive tv in the lobby. Also this was either a high crime area or the hotel is near a hospital because there were sirens going down the main road right outside of the hotel all night.

The room was not clean - visible stickiness on tables - dry blood on the bed sheet (discovered the following morning), mosquitos and gnats flying around. The room had a heavy smoke smell - someone smoked in the room previously and I'm not a smoker - it gave me a headache and I tried covering my nostrils to filter some of the bad air.

Normally I would demand another room, however, the hotel looked to be at full capacity and I didn't have faith that another room would be better. Normally I would have refused the room and left, however, I attended a late night event and was traveling with an 82-year old and would not uproot their routine looking for another hotel that time of night. I now have to santize everything I had with me and get the smoke smell out of my formal attire and other clothes - that's how strong the smoke was in that room - and this is listed as a no-smoking facility. I didn't dare go to see what was in the dining area.

I booked this motel (yes, not hotel) on a last minute basis. I thought I had made a proper choice based off the ratings, but I did not. 1st, the hotel staff is lovely, no quarelling and very kind. This was pretty much the only good thing.
2nd, upon arrival I noticed that the bedding was very stained from on top of the bed to stuck on junk on the bed skirt. The front desk had the bedding changed.
3rd, after that issue the bedding was changed but still stained.
4th, the refrigerator was completely broken. This was important cause I had milk for the baby.
5th, when I say that the carpets and flooring turned our feet black. I'm not joking. Especially my baby's feet cause of how on the move he is.
6th, because of the broke fridge my left overs got taken. But some how returned 3 days later?
7th, the fire alarm was literally hanging off the wall and so was the walling in the shower area.
8th, save your time on the \"breakfast\" and just go to the Micky D's in the front.
Overall, will not be staying here again until the owners renovate and make some staffing changes!

Lady at the front desk was nice. Only nice thing to say about the stay. The room (112) smelled awful when my daughter and I arrived. We found that the sheets and pillowcases had not been changed. There was \"stuff\" on the pillowcases, sheets and bed spreads. There was dried crusty substances on both bed skirts. I took photos and showed the lady at the desk. We asked for another room she said they were full. All she could offer was our money back (with nowhere else to go, college football game in town that night) or to change the sheets. We finally, after trying to locate another room, just pulled all sheets and bed spreads off the bed and into floor. We put our own blankets and a sleeping bag on the bare matress and slept like that. We also brought our own pillows, thankfully. This may be the exception and not the norm but we will not stay again.

The remote didnt work, so I had to obtain a new one. The top blanket was dirty on both beds as well as the room wasn't too clean. Musty smell when you first walk in the room. Tub faucet was taped together to stay in place. I feel if they updated the property look and really get all new equipment, they would have better ratings. The staff was friendly,!

This is the worst hotel I have ever checked in to. We were unable to stay the night and drove back to Atlanta, due to the moldy smell and condition of the room. Staff replaced the comforter on the bed upon our request, due to stains on the bedding, but this did not help the overall situation.

This is an older place and you can tell, has a smell and could use some updating. The room we were given wasn’t properly cleaned- the bathroom definitely hasn’t been cleaned properly in months. I travel with bleach wipes and disinfectant thankfully… both the carpet and tile in the bathroom were absolutely gross. The a/c in our room was really struggling and was full of dust when I wiped it down. One of the beds in our room has a huge dip in the mattress and both beds could use more pillows.
The front desk staff was great though, super friendly and welcoming. We weren’t given a remote or enough towels and they fixed that right away. The continental breakfast was good- waffles, little muffins, cereal, oatmeal, egg & cheese omelettes- juices & coffee, whole fruits and yogurt. Quite a few options.

***Apparently the pool is seasonal, SO if you are booking through hotels.com reach out to the property directly because Hotels.com will not make you aware and will do nothing when this happens***

Stayed here 2 nights for The Masters in Augusta, GA. Drive to course was a little under an hour in early morning. Good bed, shower, and enough space. Most importantly, it was clean. Didn't ask for service, but housekeeping brought fresh towels anyway which was awesome! Recommend this for a place to get some rest for a trip or on the road.

I have a gutter business and I took myself and 3 other employees here to do a job about 6 miles from here. It was a great place to stay, rooms were clean, ppl were friendly. It was quiet and check in and out was a breeze, we used Expedia originally,but needed to add an additional day and it wasn't an issue at all for us to book the two rooms for another night. There was also a McDonald's and gas station right there in the same vicinity.i would definitely stay here again.Thank you for your hospitality.

A little hard to find the drive. I haul RV’s as a job.
There isn’t parking there for my truck and RV on the property, but they share a lot with Circle K, where there is truck parking. (There wasn’t room by the time I arrived). I was able to park at McDonalds.
The property looks great outside. Could use some upgrades/maintenance inside. First room I got, toilet wasn’t filling. Was constantly running when I got there.(I shut the valve off room- #220.) They gave me #218. Exhaust fan in bathroom was very noisy.

Overall, the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is beside I-20 so it is pretty busy. We were awaken several times to sirens and at some point during the night a group talking loudly outside our door. The biggest disappointment was the \"continental\" breakfast. The choices were frosted flakes and raisin bran cereal, milk and yogurt. All other options had sticky notes stating sorry they were out. It's a basic, no frill place to stay for a decent price. We only stayed one night but would probably not stay more than that in the future. It is located behind McDonald's and Circle K so at least you can walk for more options.

Had a twenty minute wait checking in because a previous traveler had some kind of issue that was hard to resolve. Can't say that it was the hotel's fault. Very little for breakfast the first day even though we were there an hour before closing. Big crowd the previous day apparently took too much of the best items. Desk attendant said they were not allowed to put more out. We were fine the next two days when the number of guests was smaller. Some what noisy with many sirens on the main road outside throughout the night. Main trash bin being emptied outside a 2 am was also noisy. Rooms were comfortable and clean. It was difficult to find with no entrance signs and being located behind a McDonalds and a gas station. You have to enter the hotel through the McDonalds or gas station driveways, and there is not even a sign that we could see there that indicated Days Inn was back there.

Signage is terrible and the hotel can be easily missed - even with GPS. Set way back off the road, the entrance is shared with a McDonalds and CircleK gas and if you turn too soon (or too late) you can end up on I20. Turning left out of the lot is a huge challenge with heavy traffic in both directions.
Liked the in-room coffee, microwave and fridge. While we were gone most days till 4ish, Housekeeping only got in one day out of 4. One day, knocking on the door at 6:30 pm to service the room. Pool was closed. Satellite tv but if you’re not familiar with satellite service, the remote can be very confusing.

The best hotel and staff

This place has been the most amazing place. Just outside of columbia where you dont have to deal with traffic. Our room was clean and the breskfast was great. The beds were comfy, to sleep in. Bathroom, was very nice. The pressuer was awesome, just enough to make you feel relaxed. I will stay here again when we're back for games. The service, at the front desk and the staff here has always been super friendly, and helpful!
They also suggested me some of the best restorents in the area. We're foody people so that was a major plus for us.

Me and my two kids (11&14) had a two night stay. Check-in was quick and easy. The clerks on all shifts were very nice. We had breakfast around 8AM on both mornings and the area was clean. They had waffles, muffins, egg and cheese omelets, yogurt, cereal, milk, coffee and juice. The pool was running and clean but was closed for the season. Apparently, they close it the first weekend in September. I asked for more shampoo and they didn't have any. There were long leg spiders above the shower head. Easy to get in and out of. Located behind McDonalds and Circle K. About a 15 minute drive to downtown Columbia.

At check in, they tried to get me to pay again. After 3 attempts to get my credit card to run again for the balance, he handed me a room key and we completed check in. I had previously showed thin that the nights stay was prepaid.

The bath fan was noisy, and there was only i bar of soap. 1 for the shower, and 1 for the sink would have been helpful.

There was no one at the front desk at checkout, so I just left the key on the counter.

EC who checked us in was great. The room size and the bed and pillows were great! It’s very hard to find good pillows! The air conditioner was clean. I react to bad/dirty filters on air conditioners. My allergies didn’t act up. No Asthama attack when I turned it on!! The breakfast was good!
