The old saying goes, you get what you paid for. I stayed one night...checked in a little after 3pm and out around 9:30am. The room looked decent until the numerous spiders, stink bugs and fruit flies took over. I spent the night watching the spiders do laps on the walls instead of sleeping. The shower was not clean, and the towels didn't look very clean either. The wi-fi was awful and the tv didn't even offer the basic channels (ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX).
The only positives were...it was not expensive and check in/check out was the easiest I have ever encountered. Again...you get what you pay for.

My stay at the Knight’s Inn in Oswego greatly exceeded my expectations. The gentleman at Check-in was super helpful and extraordinarily pleasant.
I was in the room furthest from the Front desk so the Wi-Finwas weak at times but it works and was fine.

It is right off the main road however and so if the sounds of traffic bother you it might not be perfect, but they didn't both me.

During the summer season, I have become a bit of a regular face at Knight's Inn. I was drawn to the hotel by their reasonable prices and convenient location. I continued booking because of the previous mentioned perks as well as the neatness of the rooms, kindness of the front desk attendent and ease of check-in/check-out. Over the weekends I noted the pros and cons of the hotel:
Pros:
- Conveniently located (20 minutes to my work; Dunkin next door, fast food and grocery a stones throw away) (honestly this perk lets me sleep in longer)
- Kind and attentive employees - even going so far as last minuet adjusting my booking when they noticed I booked a smoking room as a non-smoker.
- Reasonable prices even at the busiest part of the season
- Variety of room sizes; ammenities including a mini-fridge in every room and A/C which these days can be a given but it is still appreciated
- Easy Check-In/Check-Out
- Clean, tidy, well stocked rooms
- Laundry services available at a reasonable price
Cons:
- One of the rooms has an exterior door that sticks a little and as someone of a smaller size it can be hard to open/close. Honestly not a real con but something I've noticed.
- Racetrack is somewhat nearby and some of the patrons are incredibly disrespectful and rude, racing through town making as much noise as possible. Thankfully playing music or watching TV tends to drown out the noise.
Will continue booking in the future :)

Cons:
- One of the rooms has an exterior door that sticks a little and as someone of a smaller size it can be hard to open/close. Honestly not a real con but something I've noticed.
- Racetrack is somewhat nearby and some of the patrons are incredibly disrespectful and rude, racing through town making as much noise as possible. Thankfully playing music or watching TV tends to drown out the noise.

My wife and I have stayed at Knight Inns around the country and the Oswego property was by far the best. I thought Angela was most helpful at check-in given the late hour I arrived. I woke up early on a Sunday and found Ralph, the maintenance guy, painting. Then I watched him clean the parking lot. I engaged him in a conversation, and it was obvious Ralph cared. When I checked out, I met the owner, and I was highly complementary about our stay. This establishment is worth your time and money.

The property was right next to a Dunkin Donuts and in the towns main shopping area. The hotel rooms were very clean. The bathrooms could use some updating but everything worked and once gain very clean!

The paint was chipping, the bathroom window was sealed shut with no ventilation, and there’s a visible crack in the door which, combined with poorly insulated windows, made it sound like the windows were wide open when the traffic was going by. Although the bedding is a bit dated, it was definitely clean. Extra blanket and pillows in room too. Hair dryer and iron with board in room also. Enjoyed the stay. Will stay again when in town.

Let me first start with the snow, 28 inches and counting. It’s important to mention that as when we arrived in white out conditions to visit SUNY Oswego, we were tired and worried. I rushed into the lobby to check in. The owner and manager, Rajesh Modi, was there. He finished with the other check in and then started the check in with me. Somehow I booked a smoking room, and I don’t smoke. When checking in he confirmed the room, said, you don’t smoke? Let me change the room for you. I was relieved. Then we chatted about the storm and reason for my visit. I mentioned my child and he said, but you have a single queen, let me fix this for you and did with no extra charge. He explained the area, gave me a map. States that the room had heat running high for me so we would up quickly. It was so reassuring and comforting. He was knowledgeable, gentle and professional. The room is super clean, WiFi accessible with no issues, restaurants and shopping nearby. He really took the time to make a bad situation better. We were comfortable and warm and safe. In the morning, another 12 inches of snow, but everything was shoveled and plowed. Although I’m a light sleeper, I heard nothing outside the window. Amazing!! I would definitely stay here again!

When I arrived I discovered that I had accidentally booked SMOKING rooms..I was very upset that I didnt catch this before arrival, once I got there, the owner/ Manager understanding my plight searched to sr if he had any NON-smoking rooms left...he had only one.. and it cost more than what I had booked on expedia...he knew I was there for a college re-union in town, so he opted to give me the last non smoking room he had...even tho he would loose money , by allowing me to stay in a more expensive room that I had booked.. This comforted me in this situation, because everywhere else in town was also booked due to the Reunion...THANK YOU! / ddt

Our toilet was clogged upon arrival but the front desk loaned us a plunger which worked. The hotel is very well maintained outside but our bathroom was pretty gross. Note it’s on a busy street so you hear every car. Large man upstairs also made a lot of noise just walking around. But we needed a room

Filthy lobby with no coffee or continental brkfst as advertised. The manager is very rude if you ask questions after check-in and the housekeeping staff do not change or wash the linens on the bed after each guest checks out. This property manager does not represent the Knights Inn brand very well. I would not stay at this property again. The staff try their best but the manager is clearly a problem

Shortly after I had checked in, I told the front desk that the outlet in the bathroom wasn't working. I was informed that it worked for the hair dryer. Alas, it didn't even work for the hair dryer. The property is located on the busiest highway in Oswego with constant traffic noise all day and all night long. The room was not cleaned nor were the towels refreshed after the first day. I reported that nothing had been cleaned and the office sent someone to clean the room right away. While the room was okay, I wouldn't stay there again. I guess it's becoming the norm, but I simply could not understand most of the English spoken around the motel by motel staff.
