Room has been through some stuff, super basic as expected, bed gave me back pain and this is the fourth hotel in two weeks, only one that caused back pain. The staff is in a daze and careless. Booked a single bed the gave us a double. Tried calling from the room and no one answers. Spend an extra $20 and stay elsewhere.

Booked an \"accessible\" room and were initially given a room way in back on the second floor. When we asked the front desk girl (who hardy spoke English) about something that required less walking (husband has difficulty walking) she seemed offended and asked us \"Do you REALLY need a handicapped room?\" She did change us to a closer room on the first floor although still not accessible. The room was NOT listed as \"Pet Friendly\" and booked as a \"No Pet Room\" but smelled faintly of urine. Window was missing the screen and was not even locked shut so I was glad I checked that! One of the washcloths and the bath mat were dirty, the bathroom counter was not clean and the toilet seat was broken. Mattress on the bed was way to worn so that we rolled to the middle of the bed and the pillows were as flat as a piece of paper. There were enough things plugged into each outlet that they were overloaded (fire hazard!) The tv did not work, but to their credit, maintenance was called and took care of it right away. Breakfast was well below average. There was not a utensil to remove waffles from the waffle maker, yogurt was not restocked (only 3) even though we were at the very beginnng of the breakfast time, no napkins and the plates, cups and silverware were the very cheapest available so that they were difficult to use. If you are thinking about staying here my advice is to run far and fast to another hotel! I will never stay at another Super 8 again! Would give negative rating if possible

Everything was great except there was not a coffeemaker in the room as was listed in the ammenities. When I checked with the front desk I was told that they do not have coffeemakers in the rooms but have coffee in the lobby in the morning. I was disappointed only for that reason.

Felt value for money wasn’t there. Room was poorly lit. No in room coffee. No clock. Fridge didn’t work (had frozen up due to rack not put in properly and door not closing, housekeeping should have checked this) Reported to front desk and it took Maintenance 2 1/2 hours to bring in different fridge. (Meanwhile we couldn’t refrigerate our food items that required refrigeration.)
Breakfast was okay. Very good coffee.

We stayed one night with our dog, on route. Our room was clean with a comfortable bed. Breakfast selection was limited but enough for us and it had hot food. The hotel is across the road from a park which has a dog section, it was perfect.
Would stay again.

Room looked clean but the floor have ground in dirt found is a wide area after spilling water and using a facilities white towel-to mop it up very dirty towel. Toilet seat very loose, The only hot was for beverages was in a instant hot water fountain at back of the building. No coffee maker in room. The room did smell nice.

Staff at check in not at all friendly. Reserved a room with one king bed got two queens. TV remote didn't work. Fortunately staff was able to replace it. Toilet valve stuck. Heating/cooling unit was too loud to sleep with it on.

The room was filthy, they didn’t even sweep the floors, hair and debris all over. After I checked in I was advised there was no hot water. Breakfast was also very sad offering. We paid $180 for a dirty room, no ability for a warm shower and nasty cheap breakfast offering. They didn’t even offer a discount for no hot water and the room was non-refundable so we had no recourse. Steer clear, you can get much better for less money.

We had one room that the shower did not work at all. The hotel staff was not friendly or helpful about it. They would not consider any type of refund since we booked through expedia/third party. I am not sure how any hotel can charge you the full rate on a room without having a working shower. Would never stay there again.

Absolutely disgusting smell in our, “pet friendly” room reeked of pet odors and strong urine. Upon arrival, the woman at the front desk asked me for $15 cash only payment for the pet room I had booked. Pretty sure it was a scam, since it couldn’t be added onto my bill or paid by credit/ debit card. But she did know where the ATM was that I could visit to get the cash.
Do yourself a favor and don’t stay here, you will feel the need for full body disinfectant when you leave.

could not get the TV to turn on, the cleaning lady finally got on. At night could not get the TV turned off, had to unplug it.
There was no coffee maker and only two coffee cups, no water cups. I was told there was a $35.00 for my dog then I was charged $38.02 on my credit card.

We checked in to the Wyndham Super 8 in Santa Rosa, NM between 5-5:30 on 28 Oct. The young women at the desk on that evening was curt, almost rude since I seemingly interrupted what she was watching/doing on her phone. There was not even a pretense of a “Welcome to the Wyndham Super 8.” Her responses to my several questions were abrupt, dismissive, not allowing me to even finish one question about the breakfast hours before replying, “Six to nine.” She did not inquire whether I wanted one or two room keys or if I had any questions. She was back to her phone before I was out the door. The room itself was spartan but provided all we needed for the one night stay. The onsite breakfast was typical. I recognize this Wyndham Super 8 is a two star hotel, so I was not expecting anything other than average, but the complete lack of a courteous welcome is unacceptable. We will not be staying there again, and I will urge my friends and family that should they travel and need to stay in Santa Rosa to avoid the Super 8.

Evening-night attendant was very rude to the nice gentleman that was in line ahead of me-very offensive to him:(. She was not a very good first impression of the motel. That being said, the gentleman attendant the next morning when we checked out was great!:)). No coffee maker in the room, but there were coffee cups. Batteries in remote very low n needs replacing. Plastic sack in ice container torn so worthless to hold the ice. Bedspreads n curtains need updating. Conditioner out in shower. Weeds needed trimmed backside of motel where pets go bathroom. Stepping stones into back door entrance n outside seating crumbling n uneven-very dangerous.

The room was very nice, clean and the bed was very comfortable. Front desk had 1 person. Thete were several people in line at 8 p.m. to check in on a Saturday night.
I did try to e check in but program did not work. At check in, the lady was doing her best to cope wirh everyone checking in. However, later when I tried to get change for drinks, she was very put out to make change. No sign on vending machine saying \",COINS ONLY\", but I was told that when I asked for change. I was standing in front of her and she simply just overlooked me and helped the person that just walked in behind me. BECAUSE, she said she had to into the office for change, so I had to wait. Then, everything was sold out, in the one vending machine on the property. Parking is wierd. No way to near your vehicle. Very strange set up. A lot of walking to get to your room.
NOT A GREAT EXPERIENCE.

The only good thing to say about this state was the lady who checked me in.

The first floor smelled completely of marijuana even though this is a smoke free facility. I had a screaming kid in one of the rooms next to me until after 11 PM, one of the pillowcases on the bed was dirty, and the towels in the bathroom were dirty or severely stained. Not that it matters. It was absolutely disgusting.

When I checked out the next morning, I asked the front desk if I can speak to somebody regarding a refund or partial refund due to numerous issues that I had. When she asked me what was wrong and I started to tell her, she then interrupted me and rudely asked me why I continued to stay. So to answer that I explained that I had gotten in late and I needed to leave early because I had a 15 hour travel day and I didn't have too many options because I had my pets with me.

I absolutely do not recommend this place

The worst property I've ever stayed at. Filthy dirty, hair clogging both drains, mascara on the shower curtain, poop in the toilet, and people kept propping the back door open. Super unsafe! Both front desk girls could not even be bothered to get off their phones. The worst!!!!!!!

There was no breakfast after 730 am not until the stated 6-9 we tried to eat they weren't making any more this was 7:45. Absolutely ticked me off. No pool thats a lie they dont open it. My mother and I woke up to some extremely suspicious botes and hives.

The staff was awful. We did online check in just to have to go and redo all the paperwork again at the office because they don't know what they're doing. The breakfast was terrible with very limited options and it was dirty. I got sick while there and needed to puke when I asked the girl at the desk for the bathroom she told me they didn't have one I could use there while I had to repeat my question to her twice because she never took out her airpods and I'm talking both of them in her ears. Then I went to the kitchen and found people using the employee bathroom so I guess there was a useable bathroom for me to puke in.

Young lady ( She looked like she was 16 years old) that was running the front desk did not speak clearly and acted like she was annoyed that I was checking in. The room was fairly clean for the price, the outside grounds was outdated and a bit dirty. They had a semi truck parked in the back of the hotel that was making all kinds of noise for about an hour at 2am. I will look for other accommodations the next time I stay in Santa Rosa.

Room was not clean. Mold in shower. Toilet paper holder bent so toilet paper would come off as you pull. Room stunk. Tv remote wouldn't work. Was very noisy. Musty smell. Beds were very uncomfortable. Sheets didn't smell clean. Parking was good.

AC didn’t work, call to the front took a hour and then they tried the unplug it and plug it back in, didn’t work and it was late so slept in a hot room. Shower head didn’t work so couldn’t bathe. Toilet hummed loudly after flushing and to top it off other guests were blaring music from their vehicles in the parking lot at 5am. Really crappy stay for a motel in Historic Route 66
