The restaurant is useless. We thought we would order something and take it to the room. No menus anywhere. My husband went to the restaurant to see if he could get a menu to take back to the room, they said the front desk should have one.

If you need to stay, it works. All amenities were either broken or closed. The room itself was fine but the walls were paper thin. We could hear the people below us until 4 in the morning talking, not partying, just having a conversation. Staff checked us in but I would not describe them as helpful. Property is showing its age.

Kenora’s downtown came across as a little dumpy. Hopefully it’s nicer in the summer.

Beware of people travelling with children!!
Please do not stay here, and don’t be deceived by the clean lobby. The hotel is terrifying. It smelled like people were urinating in the hallways. The room was very dirty. The light switches did not turn on the lights. There were bugs all over the bathroom, but the smell is really the star of the show… because what on earth caused that smell???
We have driven across Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta.. stayed in lots of places including motels that were not ideal, this one being the absolute worst! We left immediately, and hotels.com handled the situation so wonderfully!

pool is closed. paint is peeling. Vagrants and drug addicts outside everywhere and in the hallways. had my truck and another get broken into during my stay. was told camera's 'weren't working' even after I asked at checkin about these issues and was told it wouldn't happen.

Front desk staff was wonderful. I noticed plenty of burns on the carpet, I assume from cigarettes? I could be wrong, though. There was also wet spots on the carpet near the bathroom when we checked in. Wasn’t a big deal, probably from housekeeping. The lady at the front told me they are renovating rooms which is awesome. Overall was a good stay. Comfortable beds.

I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The building felt extremely outdated, and the old carpeting gave off an unpleasant smell that made the environment uncomfortable. On top of that, the walls were so thin that I could clearly hear other guests talking, which made it difficult to relax or get a good night’s sleep.
Another concern was the lack of secure access—there didn’t seem to be proper locks on the doors leading into the main building, which raised safety concerns for me.
Overall, I expected a much better experience, especially for a travel lounge–style hotel. Unfortunately, the condition of the property and the lack of soundproofing and security made my stay far from enjoyable.

Would never stay again! As a chain you’d think they they’d have some pride in the hotel. Room was dirty !!!Black mold on the ceiling of the bathroom, mold in the freezer/mini fridge , carpets stained in several areas in the room ! Also had a dirty towel hanging on the back of the door . Hallways were loud and people partying during the night. Do not recommend

The property is out-dated but was clean. The room was incredibly hot and we could not figure out how to turn the heat down, as the temperature controls did not seem to be connected to the baseboard heater. We had to keep the window open to cool the room down. I could not find a way to turn the bedside lamp off, there was no switch. I had to unscrew the lightbulb. The bed had springs that were loose and kept popping. There were not many outlets and my sister needed them close to the bed for her sleep apnea machine. The front desk staff was very friendly.

The check in staff was friendly. Parking with a large passenger vehicle was a bit tricky The room was humble but clean. The beds and pillows and linen are comfortable new and very clean. Bottled water and coffee are provided in the room. The pools-indoor and outdoor are currently closed. The rates were good.

Bogadella inn! We booked 7 rooms as we were there for snowmobiling for a week, and it is advertised with a hot tub and pool, both of which have been closed for over 5 years! Everyone’s room carpet looked like blood stains! Black mold on roof of our bathroom! Rooms weren’t cleaned or bedding changed all week but they gave us towels when we went to the front desk. Beds were old and lumpy. Old shower heads were a pee hole and shower rod broken and hanging down. Terrible place and they are just milking it for every cent and not putting anything back. It should be bull dozed and I can’t believe Travel lodge still has it under their name !

Things looked great walking into our room, but then I tried to use the toilet and it wouldn’t flush. I called front desk and they said they’d send someone, but nobody ever came and I fixed it myself!! Tried to have a shower and the tub was filling up with whatever was clogged in the drain and that was never fixed while I was there. When i was checking out I mentioned all of this to the front desk and they said “thanks for letting us know and we’ll have maintenance look at it” WOW smh was not worth the money I paid and won’t be going back there unless things change there.

On a positive side the bed was clean and comfortable

The hotel is run down, my mom almost fell walking in the hotel because floors are so unlevel. Not a kid friendly atmosphere and its not for elderly people.They have pictures of a pool with water on the internet. Staff told me when I checked in, it hasn't had water in it for 3 years. That is fraud in my eyes, I wouldn't have booked it knowing that. The lock on the window in my room was broken and being on ground level it wasnt safe to sleep or to leave belongings in room. Baseboard heaters and no fan in the room, it was cold and smelt bad. I prepaid for the night but only stayed a few hours while realizing the circumstances. Worst hotel experience, especially being a Travellodge.

They gave me like a basement room, the carpet is old and dingy, the furniture is outdated and worn. The room was also very dusty. For a $170 to stay the night I was expecting way better appearance. They didn’t even offer a continental breakfast or even some coffee for free. Terrible place to stay.

The staff at this hotel were very nice, but unfortunately this is the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. The property was very dingy. There is no elevator, so we lugged all our things up the dirty stairs, and nearly tripped trying to avoid a pile of hay that was left on the stairs. The room had a disgusting odour to it. Most of everything was worn down and stained. We weren’t comfortable taking off our shoes due to the condition of the carpet. The bathroom had mold in it, and was very dirty. The shower curtain was ripped along the whole top and was also quite worn. I really don’t recommend this place.

Room smelled like someone had thrown up in it just before we got there. The pool is permanently closed. There is a homeless encampment behind the hotel. They stole everything out of the back of my truck. The police won't do anything. The hotel refuses to provide security. GARBAGE HOTEL!

Hallways and doorways seemed up one step down two with many tripping hazards. Travel with a pet and was horrified to see dirty old wall to wall carpet on the floor of the room. Most pet rooms have vinyl laminate. The shower was amazing and the bed very comfortable. Some confusion at check in but got sorted.
