Room was clean, spacious, view spectacular! Parking was miserable, over 20 suites in our block and 9 parking spaces. Forewarning, Puna Pointe our block of suites, requires lots of stairs, lots of walking to amenities, it’s very dark at night and on uneven ground. The beaches in Maui are public, this resorts beach was very very steep and deep sand. The main pool was just ok, uncomfortable lounges, unheated in February and nothing great. Puna Pointe had a very small pool to be used by the 20+ suites, again unheated and not enough lounge chairs. The restaurant was delicious, if you choose not to stay here, definitely enjoy the restaurant. I would consider another resort on my next visit, primarily because there are lots more on the island to enjoy.

The room was very clean and offered a great layout for my wife and I and our adult daughter. It was like a condo with a great view of the beach and good access. We had a fully functional kitchen that enabled us to shop and cook. We took turns with lunch and dinner.

The property is nicely maintained with manicured lawns. The rooms are nicely appointed. The lanai has a nice recliner and table with a drying rack. Closet has an umbrella and cooler along with grocery bag for use. Parking spaces are very tight! Restaurant has an amazing happy hour which we visited three times in a week! It served as our lunch. Staff was VERY friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

We traveled from Oahu to spend a few days on Maui. I thought the resort was ok. It took around 45 minutes to get checked in, which was shocking.
The room was outdated and had a smell to it. Not sure from what.
It also had gnats flying around. Can’t say I was happy about that.
The restaurant was small and we had to wait for a table when there wasn’t many people there.
Overall, it was ok.
If I was coming back to Maui I would look for a different resort.

Absolutely perfect. We were here for two nights in October. I can't think of a more perfect place to stay in Hawaii. The resort was wonderful, a very chill and relaxed vibe, the staff was very nice. Everything is conveniently located on the resort. The food at the on-site restaurant is very good. We had originally planned to cook our own food in the room, but the restaurant was so good we ended up eating there every day.

The location is stunning, absolutely beautiful. Perfect weather. The beach is right there and in October there's not many people on it. Clean beach and clean water. The water is pretty calm overall, but be aware that it gets deep not far from the shore. A lot of people swimming, snorkeling and paddleboarding in the bay.
It's easy and convenient to take an Uber from the resort to nearby attractions such as Whalers Village.

Sparkling clean, comfortable beds, very quiet, private with a great view, loved having a little fridge, microwave & sink set up with dishes and silverware, coffee maker & kettle. Also liked the fitness center, access to the beach, towels and chairs for the beach. The onsite restaurant is great, the grounds are lovely, the small putting course was fun too. Pool was a little cold if we had a small complaint, but all else were wonderful. Easy parking too.

The bay is wonderful for swimming compared to some other Maui beaches we visited. The resort is very walkable, every staff member was kind and helpful, and the views are spectacular. We didn’t love our dinner at the Sea House, but there were other close restaurants that we enjoyed and were either walkable or a very short drive. We will definitely be staying here again in the future!

The only issue was parking in the Puna Point section, and multiple times the small parking area was full. Due to property layout and size I don't think there is a remedy for this.

We had a wonderful time! Our lodging was perfect, the view was gorgeous, and the overall resort is exactly what we were looking for.
Unfortunately the restaurant is not flexible for our older kids. They are very strict on the ten and under menu; our teen daughter was not allowed to order from it. I have never encountered that before. Their main menu had nothing that she was interested in eating and the prices were such that we were not willing to make her try something new. As a result they missed out on our entire family eating there.

This place was on my bucket list since the first time I saw it, and it did not disappoint! Rooms and staff were spectacular. Beautiful beach views and having the sea house right there couldn’t be beat. Definitely enjoyed the free activities to do through the resort (although they did kick us out of the free mai tai party for wearing our swimsuits???? - the party was at the pool and the resort is at the beach?) but particularly the horticultural tour is a must do if you stay here! Mahalo and aloha Napili Kai!

We paid the extra $250 direct to the hotel to confirm that specific room which was a great option if you want to guarantee a top floor, etc. saw dolphins and turtles right from our balcony. No resort fee and free parking also great. Lots of included activities. Beach chairs are free, no umbrellas so we bought one at Costco in the way which worked out well. Only a few downsides. The landscaping crew weed cutting and leaf blowing right next to the beach and restaurant one morning from 9-11 was a bummer, but I guess they have to do it sometime. A lawnmower and rake might have been better. We walked all the way down to the other end of the beach to get away from it but could still hear it. I come to the beach to relax, so… also, our first dinner and first breakfast at the Sea House restaurant were both disappointing. But other means there were fine. Excellent Bloody Mary and Mai Tais. Loud HVAC noise on our balcony from the building next door, but again, it had to be somewhere. Wish they relocated it to the parking lot side.would stay again. Very relaxing and gorgeous spot.

Overall nice stay but we had a huge cockroach in our room. The beach and surrounding nature was great though, especially for snorkeling. Could be a cleaner hotel as a whole.
