The Piccolo is a good basic hotel in a fairly central location with good proximity to the .public transport system, The room was on the small side and a little dated, but was comfortable enough.The staff were friendly and helpful.

Economy hotel close to the convention centre

Hotel Piccolo was the only option in a walking distance to the Milan Convention Centre during my two days stay, I got an economy single room. The room opens directly to the foyer, the room is absolute rudimentary, the bathroom is managable only by the slims. The continental breakfast was good. The staf was helpful and kind.

The hotel room is basic but clean and the bathroom is spotless too. Very reasonable price. The continental breakfast was excellent, located close to the local metro service which is 20 minutes in to central Milan and a special train direct to the San Siro stadium which was our main reason for our break. Top marks, good hotel & a great city.

A very tight fit

The bathroom was so small you could barely fit. Almost impossible to get in the shower it was such a tight fit. Otherwise simple room, but clean. You have to walk up one flight of stairs to the elevator. Great area.

Charming old-style European hotel at a great price

This is a small hotel in an older building, so it is not a huge, modern luxury hotel. But it offers old-school European charm, which I enjoy. The room was adequate + comfortable, included free wi-fi and a very nice breakfast with hot + cold selections. The price was surprisingly low for a hotel in Milan, and it was in a nice neighborhood. The reception staff were exceptionally caring + helpful, which made us feel truly welcome and safe. I will stay here again when I am in Milan!

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. While the best description of the room would be \"tired,\" it was exactly what I needed. The hotel was convenient to the metro as well as the local trains. It was convenient for getting to the historic city center and also to the Expo and the airport. The staff was very helpful to me -- at all hours of the day.

Nice family-run hotel!

Recently returned from a short stay at the Piccolo while visiting in Milan. The room was basic but had all the amenities needed, including air conditioning and a mini-fridge. If coming from Milano Centrale train station, it is about a 10 minute taxi ride, otherwise there are several public transit options. The staff here was excellent, very welcoming and happy to give us directions to all the main attractions. The hotel itself is personable and this is what differentiates it from other hotels in that you feel that you are interacting with friends rather than just employees. The location was also great as it was in a 'quieter' area of Milan, but was filled with tons of restaurants, cafes and bars to choose from.

Brillaint little hotel!

Receptionist staff were excellent, providing service well beyond what we expected. Simple room, value for money, ample buffet breakfast, good location. Airport bus and tram 12 to door. Bus 78 to San Siro and back. Ate well round the corner.

Everything slightly dated, staff very friendly, breakfast not brilliant. Coffee and juice machines not good. Main issue was that the room was cold. Radiators never got hot enough to heat room so taking a shower was an unpleasant experience and had to get into the bed to watch TV for half an hour before going out for dinner, and didn't want to get out of bed in the morning. I asked twice for the heating to be sorted bit it's centralised and timed......and you can't adjust the radiators apparently.

While it isn't a fancy hotel, the Piccolo had everything we needed for our stay in Milan and for the right price. The service was super friendly and helpful, even helped us determine what public transit to take for a quicker bus ride into the city. The hotel is a 15ish minute bus or 30 minute walk to the city center and the Duomo, and it's a nice, flat, easy walk to get there. Would definitely recommend this hotel, so long as you're not looking for anything fancy or special.

Feel at home with friendly people

We felt very safe and comfortable in the hotel.
The owners who are always there are very nice people, very helpfull.
The area has some restaurants arround enough to find all food you need, plus there is a small supermarket across the Street.

Struttura datata, con la verniciatura c'è del muro scrostata, tende vecchissime e rifiniture in genere spesso rotte. Ubicato vicino la fermata Gerusalemme della metro ed a poche centinaia di metri da city Life.

Se sei al 4° piano hai un altro piano a piedi. Il frigorifero era rumoroso. Insomma l'unica cosa che lo salva è il prezzo anche se in rapporto al disagio...

Ottima camera, ideale per stare vicini alla Metro.

L'hotel è facilmente raggiungibile a piedi dalla Metro Gerusalemme, il personale si è dimostrato molto gentile fin dal mio arrivo.
Ho trovato la camera pulita, direi ideale per il soggiorno di una persona; temperatura perfetta per far fronte al gelo trovato a Milano. Wifi funzionante.
La mattina successiva mi hanno anche offerto la colazione, inizialmente non prevista nell'offerta.

Hotel satisfaisant de manière générale, petit déjeuner très correct, chambre spacieuse. Peu pratique pour les personnes à mobilité réduite.Très bruyant le soir : entre le voisin du dessus qu'on entend marcher sur le parquet et la boite de nuit qui se trouve à proximité et dont on entend la musique et les gens sortir jusqu'à pas d'heure, c'est très compliqué de dormir.

Per fortuna abbiamo soggiornato solo 2 notti! Ma come si fa a scrivere recensioni positive in merito a questo albergo!? I punti positivi sono stati la posizione, abbastanza vicino ai mezzi e la disponibilità della reception. Per il resto insufficiente. Partiamo dalla colazione che risulta scarsissima! Siamo stati in 3 e abbiamo diviso 2 cornetti in quanto erano finiti. I salumi (mortadella e prosciutto cotto di pessima qualità ) erano in un vassoio sempre vuoto e l’addetto ai rifornimenti si è azzardata pure a lamentarsi che era sempre vuoto e sottovoce ha detto che non lo avrebbe piu rimesso in quanto a sua parere era gia abbastanza. La camera si trovava all’ultimo Piano e lascensore arriva solo al terzo. Le camere non vengono pulite e non vengono cambiate le lensuole ma solo messe apposto! (La sera prima avevo mangiato dei pop corn è qualcosa mi erano caduti beh me li sono ritrovati in un angolino fino all’ultimo giorno) Le stanze erano piccole e avevano un odore strano non propriamente profumato. Insomma per quanto abbiamo pagato ci aspettavamo almeno una colazione decente. Non consiglio l’hotel per una famiglia e se dovete proprio prenotarlo risparmiate e prenotate senza colazione e compratevi la colazione fuori ( a 100mt ce un supermercato).

Aamupala oli monipuolinen muihin Italian vastaavantasoisiin hotelleihin verrattuna. Aamiaishuoneesta huolehtiva vanhempi rouva oli oikein ihana ja ystävällinen. Hyvät kulkuyhteydet eri puolille kaupunkiasekä siisto ja turvallinen ympäristö. Ainoana miinuksena huoneiden äänieristys ei ollut kovin hyvä.

stanza piccolissima non sonorizzata. sono stato costretto -mio malgrado- ad ascoltare i rumori della televisione proveniente dalle stanze vicine. per non dire i rumori dell'uso del bagno. ho chiesto-alla signora che si occupa della colazione / pulizie- un telo per la doccia in più; richiesta non esaudita. il bagno piccolissimo. impossibile usare il bidè. Lunica nota positiva il personale della reception.
