We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, the staff is super clean. The restaurant is awesome, we ordered food for dinner, they were great. The room is a good size, bathroom is spotless. The carpet could do some upgrade, it doesn't look great. The main issue is the smell, we stay with our dog, I think we may have been allocated to the "dog" room, the room has a smell - I have to bring in my car freshener to use in the room AC. Also the wall is paper thin, our neighbor next to us has two young children who were screaming, giggling, and kicking the wall until about 1.30 am - we can hear everything. However, beside that, it's an ok place to stay for one night when you just passing through.

The room was nice but the hotel does not have an elevator so bring too much that you can't carry up the stairs.

This was BY FAR the best place I've ever stayed. It met all the basic requirements of cleanliness and location but it was the personal touch that made it wonderful. The attached restaurant and bar was so handy but the staff made it welcoming. All the staff, from the desk clerk through the waitresses and hostesses all genuinely seemed to enjoy their jobs and their fellow employees. I was in a strange place that felt like home. Thank you!

It was not the worst hotel we’ve been in, but somewhere at the bottom. There was a restaurant attached that was quite busy, although we didn’t use it during our stay. The staff was friendly. Restaurant is good but pricy for dinner. This motel is basic and clean. My one complaint is that the shower doesn’t have a tub so the water gets all over the bathroom floor. You need a better solution for controlling this. Would probably look elsewhere next time.

This was a great motel not far from our destination. Lovely entrance with garden and water feature. Always friendly staff! The food at the attached restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced.

There was a threadbare sofa bed in the room that didn’t fit it with the rest of the decor but if we had needed it we probably wouldn’t have cared. Our room was very nice: a nice size, clean, nice amenities, etc.; BUT light shines brightly into the room at the top of the curtains and around the door. The bed was extremely firm.... hard. My husband sat up both nights in bed due to how uncomfortable it was. He considered moving out to the car to sleep. Frankly, it wouldn't have been any lighter, and it would have been more comfortable. The staff were all very nice. I just believe that a hotel room should be dark and quiet for sleep... so many aren't.

The bed was like sleeping on the floor with a 1 inch foam under you. Very hard and uncomfortable. The overall property was ok and served its purpose for a quick overnight stay. The staff was friendly and helpful.

This is a comfortable hotel with an attached diner/restaurant offering tasty food for the end of a long day or early morning hearty breakfast. Staff was wonderful. Pretty walkways and park nearby on the lake. Room is simple -- some lamps or clocks with USB charging ports would be welcome.

The ROOM WE STAYED IN WAS FULL OF ANTS. WE KILLED OVER 25 ANTS. CLEANER DOES NOT CLEAN ROOM AT ALL DURING STAY. WE WAS THERE 4 DAYS!!!! HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND FOR MAN OR BEAST!!!!!!

This is NOT your average budget chain motel property!
I admit I was not sure if we'd be happy with our choice, but this place is lovely. We had a large, clean, comfy room with handicap accessibility.
The front desk clerk was helpful & friendly.
An on-site restaurant is always a plus.

It is an old property, not very well maintained interior.

Property is in a good location with excellent food and drink options right on site. Bathroom looked newly remodeled and shower was excellent. The only negative would be tha the mattress was pretty old (lumpy) and maybe could be replaced. We would definitely come back to this location. Thank you,
