I chose this hotel primarily because of its excellent reviews and its convenient location.
However, there were several issues during our stay that affected our overall experience.

During breakfast, the restaurant was very crowded and we had to wait approximately 15 minutes for a table. When we were eventually seated, the table had not been properly cleaned, despite being directed to it by staff.

We also visited the spa as we were quite tired. Unfortunately, the therapist who attended to me was coughing throughout the massage and did not apologise, which made the experience uncomfortable. Given the premium pricing and the hotel’s five-star standard, we had expected a higher level of professionalism.

The most concerning incident occurred in the evening. When we returned to the hotel at around 9:30 pm, we found our room door unlocked. This was extremely distressing for us. We immediately contacted the manager. We were later informed that housekeeping had left the door open while removing items after cleaning. Although we appreciated the explanation and the complimentary airport transfer offered the next day, the incident left us feeling unsettled and we did not sleep well that night.
While we understand that it was Chinese New Year and the hotel was operating at full capacity, room security should never be compromised. We still value the hotel location and consider staying again in the future. We hope that our feedback will be taken constructively to improve the guest stay.

This hotel is connected to a shopping mall! So eating and shopping are very convenient! The hotel staff are very friendly! Amenity kit is also very complete, but just like the previous reviewer once said, the in-room slippers for a five-star hotel should be in better quality and also the size of in-room slippers are kind of small for men! The breakfast buffet is one of the best in selections and tastes! Overall speaking, if I go to JKT, still will consider this hotel to stay!

This is my 2nd stay in a month - 6 nights. As before, the staff are incredible - every single person is smiling, helpful and goes out of their way to make you feel welcome - its the small details that matter because in reality most big chains have nice hotels so it comes down to the people and how they make you feel - the housemaids could see I was using all my water so left extra with lovely handwritten notes - when I asked for extended check out (an extra hour) it was given without any fuss - I asked for items at breakfast and the chefs went out of their way to bring them even though I wasnt demanding them, just enquiring if possible. I also visited the spa twice and had 2 amazing massages from Nita and YuYun - both out of this world, amazing technique and lots of small details that make it memorable - its typical of how the whole hotel operates. As before, I have stayed in 100s of hotels for work and vacation and this hotel stands out. Lots of hotels have 1 or 2 people that make you feel special, here it is every single person. Highly recommended I will be back for sure

Years of travel and many feel the same however this Sheraton is remarkable - every single interaction is kind and positive the staff go out of their way to help - from remembering my name as I leave the breakfast room, to cooking special food for my autistic son who has.a restricted diet to leaving personalised notes

As expected from sheraton hotels, the beds are great and even the hotel has the best amenities in the room! On top of that, this is grand sheraton. I havent seen many of sheraton grand in the world but it happened to be in Jakarta, so here’s my ticket for luxury weekend! The hotel also has great facilities for family staycation. I wish i can bring my family on my next stay at The Sheraton Grand Gandaria City!

I needed to wait for the check-in because the hotel cannot prepare my booked one bed room upon my arrival.
The mini-bar in the room was empty.
The bath tab had also some problems; handles of faucet were loose. Flow of water was not enough. Bath tab was not cleaned.
It's quite disappointing.

My 2nd time staying in this hotel and still as pleased with my stay. Attentive staff Lukman provided a mousepad for me when he saw my mouse on the desk during housekeeping. Lovely Debina-Rahma made me an animal towel which made my tiring long day a much better one. Little details that made a lot of difference. Definitely my preferred hotel and reassured me to book this hotel again next time.

Next to Gandaria shopping center which is convenient. Next to a mosque, which is not convenient for the 4am morning prayer. Considering relative prices, charging 12-14x more for items in the restaurant or minibar is a bit outrageous especially as there are no marts nearby. Room and staff were fine. Gym is pathetic.

Short stay at Sheraton Jakarta

Check in was good. Staff recognized me from the Marriott Platinum relationship and automatically gave me the upgrade to the executive suite (a pleasant surprise).

At some other Marriott properties they gave me a welcome gift and fruit platter in the room. This was not here, just something I noticed. Not a comment on their lackiness.

The bath sink was a bit stuck. However the bathroom was large and spotlessly clean.

Security was good. With a person standing by the lifts to ensure that residents went up to the rooms (lifts use a key card for floor access).

Generally excellent. Some maintenance work required for the bathroom. But excellent still.

it was a very good stay and i should say, people like reception clerk and bell boys are very courteous.
The moment you walk in the hotel lobby, hotel staffs greet you with a smile and the smell, it's very comfy. Reception clerk was very courteous and managed to fix my double booking. instead of charging me 2X, they called the travel agency to cancel it in my behalf. Thank you so much. Definitely i will stay here again

Very good location for family

We stayed 20 days in this hotel. Overall a very comfortable and pleasant stay. Location at the mall is excellent. Facilities were nice. Solidly a 4-5 star experience, my wife was wishing there was a spa.
We do recommend this hotel and definitely would consider it again.

Room was good, service was great. But room quality wasn't the best. Shower glass room slams very loudly. And light switches are counter-intuitive. Once you turn off the main switch, u can't independently turn any other lights back on.

Modern and superb hotel attached to Gandaria City Mall in Pondok Indah area of South Jakarta.

Very modern and clean room and bathroom. Amazingly comfortable king size bed for an excellent night's sleep. Super fast wi-fi speed. Modern bathroom with good shower heating temperature and water pressure. Overall a very plush and ultra luxurious and comfortable room.

Connected to an awesome mall with all possible types of shopping and restaurants/cafes. So no need to go out in the terrible/atrocious Jakarta traffic and waste your precious time, as everything is available in Gandaria City Mall which is connected to the hotel.

The best hotel for a business visit to Jakarta. I will be staying here for all my future Jakarta business trips.

Also would be great for a 2 to 3 day shopping trip because of the awesome attached mall.

I got poor signal on my mobile phone (local number). Maybe because I was on high floor and the hotel didn't install signal amplifier on that floor
Thus I use the hotel phone to make a call to a local mobile number.

20 minutes cost me IDR 600k or ard USD 50. I was wondering if the hotel really need to make this kind of profit?

I am a platinum member on another major hotel loyalty program. I use hotel phone occasionally. But this was the first time I got this type of treatment.

There are many other quality hotels in Jakarta.

Mengecewakan. Hotel sekelas Sheraton,terdapat “semacam bulu kemaluan” diatas kasur. Kamar mandi ada rambut panjang.
Kesimpulan, kasur tidak dibersihkan/tidak diganti setelah tamu sebelumnya.

Untuk sarapan, tidak recommended. Rasa sangat rata. Beberapa daging tidak lagi fresh. Roti rada apek.

モール直結で便利なホテル。今回で4回目の宿泊。清潔で良いホテルだが設定価格の割には豪華さがない。今回は日が悪かったせいか2.8juta 朝食無し。この価格のジャカルタの他の5星ホテルだともう少しラグジュアリー感がある。でも便利さは最高なので次回のジャカルタ訪問もこのホテルつかうことになりそうです。

五星飯店逛街吃飯不錯選擇，但房間隔音差，晚上外面車輛和宗教祈禱聲吵了整晚

飯店位於mall裡面，相當方便不錯，逛街吃飯很多選擇，但到了晚上，祈禱的喇叭聲還真是誇張，足足聽了一個多小時，最糟糕的是，摩托車汽車呼嘯的聲音，讓在18樓的我，還能聲立其境，女兒住另一側房間也是，結果問朋友住8樓的他們，更誇張，跟飯店要了耳塞，看來這個問題是老問題了，唉，真是浪費五星飯店的星星了，重點是價格還很貴，下回不會來住了，寧可坐一個小時多的車回家睡，還比較可以安靜睡覺，哈哈哈
