This was my 2nd stay at the Veranda. I enjoy it's location and convenience to all the activities I participated in during my stay. The staff is super friendly and professional. There was some painting and renovation work on the 2nd floor that had fumes from the paint. The breakfast buffet is by far the best I have experienced in any hotel I have ever stayed.

The mechanism in the wifi lock was faulty, the staff insisted that a new key will work. Ended up wasting my time going up and down and wasted my time!

I had an absolutely fantastic stay. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The breakfast buffet, which I had nearly everyday, always offered something new. If you’re going to Jakarta, this place is a must stay.

Excellent staff friendly and helpful. Very clean property, pretty and comfortable room. Good breakfast.
I don’t give a five stars to property only because the pool water need more maintenance (maybe chlorine) and because the kitchen is open beside the restaurant and the food odour is strong and stay in your clothes. But I have to say that I reported that and the staff/management took their best action immediately.
DEFINITELY I WILL COME BACK.
Great value for your money.

Staff were super friendly. I had the chance talk a little bit with Dio, Jessica, and EL. They’re all awesome. If there’s only one thing I could complain it would be that my clothes were not fully dry after the laundry service but that’s ok. I wouldn’t take a star because of that. On my next trip I’m gonna be staying at the Veranda location. I did like it. The breakfast was awesome. You guys need to try the local stuff for breakfast, especially if you like spicy food.

Need better maintenance

Customer service was no doubt top-notch, from bell-boy to receptionist, check-in and check-out was smooth and fast.

However, the room is a bit spooky, why is there a small painting placed right beneath a large painting (left side) above the bed frame?

The cleanliness of the room should be improved.
I noticed patches of sticky residue on table.
Stained towels should be replaced.

Accessing the gymn and room

The check in process should include access to the gymn. I have to request acess to the gymn. Once I did that I could not go in to my room.

I had to go down rekey the access code to my room. This need to be improved

it was clean and people were nice. Only comment, we were there for 6 nights and they never told us that breakfast was included!! So every morning we had to go and look for breakfast place.... We find out on the last day ... Only reason we find out was because we decide for our last day we eat breakfast at the hotel and when we ask for menu , they ask for our room number and they said oh breakfast is included!!!!
Would be nice to know the past 5 days.....

This is a simple but relaxing hotel.
Ground floor is open and spacious. You can have coffee at the poolside in the morning.
Not so gorgeous, but clean and cozy space.

Very noisy if room is facing to main road

My room was at 2nd floor and facing to main road and high rise bus way. Noise from vehicles were continuous for 24 hours. Gym was very small though equipments were relatively new and comprehensive. Water in the swimming pool was clean. However, pool side and floor near tables were full of ash by cigarets. Smoking manner by guests at the hotel must be controlled well. Hotel staffs were very polite and nimble.

Ask for room not facing main road

It's a popular place for parties and is located on the main road so be sure to ask for the room not facing the main road if there is no party held in the pool to avoid the noisiness of Jakarta traffic which can affect chance of sleep

From start to finish the staff been welcoming and very friendly. The Wyl's kitchen restaurant in the hotel was really convenient on arrival, and there is a mall close by too. I would recommend this to anyone staying more than a week.

Although staff was not as fluent in English, although they did try their best to help with my questions. Not ideal for tourists as the hotel is 30-60 mins away from the city. There is a megamall 10-15mins away by car. One can get almost everything needed there.

compare to price was the best

after I stayed two different hotels and checked some other hotels personally in South Jakarta with that price Veranda was the one I was looking for.. with the changing currency around 800~950 rupi without breakfast..
many hotels have cleaning problem as I observe in Jakarta no matter 3 or 4 stars.. maybe cuz climate of Jakarta. and western breakfast problem. so I gave up choose breakfast in hotels in Jakarta. veranda was better cuz new hotel, good service, the angus burger was great in the dinner (I didnt check their breakfast). yes there were mosquitoes but housekeeping put the spray and they gone so it was not big deal.. rooms are big, showers are nice, I ll stay in this hotel again next time..

walls are not soundproof, cleanliness needs improvement and they installed smoke sensor on the ceiling right above the bed, good for safety but not really great if you switched off room light and the bright sensor light keep blinking every 45 seconds or so. move the sensor a little bit so it doesnt distract.

Area to improve - WiFi connectivity

The major shortcoming to be improved is their WiFi connectivity - easy to connect without triggering device security that prohibits convection, or poor coverage (almost non-existence upload and download speed) inside room rendering useless.
This happened for both of my stay at this hotel in the past 6 months.

スタッフの教育は良くなされていると思います。施設もよく、エアコンもコントロールできるので寒すぎるということはありませんでした。ルームサービスも、インドネシア料理、焼き鳥などの和食などもあり不満はありませんでした。

ただ、臭いに関しては、芳香剤などを使用していないため気になりました。施設全体、特にエレベーターに乗ると、前に乗っていたと思われる人の体臭がしたり、また部屋もクリーニングの際に芳香剤を使うことはありませんでした。その点だけが非常に残念でした。

ホテルに唯一あるインドネシア料理レストランが月、火曜日は定休日でルームサービスで食事が何も頼めなかったです。
1度コンシェルジュに食事をオーダーしましたが50分経っても何も来ず、問い合わせをした所レストランがやっていないのでルームサービスは出来ないとの事でした。
空腹で待たされた挙げ句出来ないと折り返し連絡も無しでした。
蟻も沢山出ましたし泊まる価値無しです。
