I had an amazing experience staying at Mercure Old Tbilisi Hotel. The property is modern yet beautifully preserves the charm and character of Old Tbilisi. My room was comfortable, stylish, and spotless, and the entire atmosphere of the hotel felt welcoming and authentic.

The service was truly remarkable. The front desk team was exceptionally polite, attentive, and professional. They explained everything in detail, helped with my room upgrade, and made me feel genuinely cared for throughout my stay. The breakfast was also excellent — delicious food, great variety, and wonderful presentation.

Due to an unexpected family emergency, I had to leave earlier than planned. The hotel handled the situation with compassion and professionalism, and I received my refund without any issues or complications. I am very grateful for their understanding and support.

I highly recommend Mercure Old Tbilisi Hotel to anyone visiting the city. Outstanding service, great location, and a team that truly goes above and beyond. I will definitely return on my next trip to Tbilisi.

The staff at this hotel are exceptionally helpful and professional. My first stay was in Tbilisi, and I encountered an issue with the cab driver who brought me from the airport. While it wasn’t their responsibility, the hotel team stepped in and resolved the situation for me. As someone who travels frequently, I can confidently say I’ve rarely experienced service as attentive and caring as theirs.Thank you so much

This hotel superseded my expectations. Great customer service, everyone was attentive, kind and so helpful, from the housekeeping staff to the reception. The restaurant was amazing and service impecable as well. Many thanks to Luka, Luka, Katy’s, and Lana from reception and restaurant. You surely made an impression and I would definitely stay here again. Also, Asado is a great restaurant and the food, just wow!

Two weeks in Tbilisi

In all honesty, this Hotel exceeded all my expectations. Be assured that the rooms and hotel are actually as shoen in the pictures. I have Cleanliness OCD and I had nothing to worry about in this Hotel as room service comes daily and makes your room spick and span. The rooms, the food and the service were all 10 on 10. I recommended this Hotel to my relatives and friends. Its so convenient as it is in walking distance to all major tourist attractions. The service is very fast, you can get anything you want very easily as the staff is always on the go.

My cousin and I had the best time at this hotel, they really went above and beyond in every way. The location is superb; we found it very easy to walk or get to various landmarks and various tour operators are based a 5 min walk from the hotel, and the area feels very safe. The breakfast is perfect: a broad selection which includes local food and we thought it offered more variety than the standard continental breakfast you get at other hotels. The staff were always extremely helpful and lovely. The room and facilities were great and the rooftop bar was a lovely place to relax. I honestly could not fault anything and had a very comfortable and happy stay there. The icing on the cake was that I had my birthday during my stay and the hotel arranged a surprise for me which was so so lovely of them, I will always remember and cherish that. If I visit Tbilisi again I will definitely go back to this hotel.

A week in Tbilissi

Always good to go to the Mercure. Close to the old town and amenities. It has the restaurant and the roof top. Would like the gym to open earlier than 0700 to accommodate before going to work. Good breakfast.

The steakhouse was really good and accommodating. The breakfast was too expensive for what you got, so I never tried it. The Bar on the roof looked nice, seemed to have a good vibe. The location was great! The only reason I gave the area outside a lower review was because of road work right out front. The staff went out of their way to be helpful.

Great hotel in a great location.

Two issues - wifi doesn’t work at all in room 303 which isn’t great for a business trip.
Breakfast was poor, the animal carcasses on display during breakfast aren’t nice either. Should have breakfast on the brilliant terrace!

Amazing stay!

Had a great stay at the Mercure. Amazing location, within walking distance to all the main sites in Old Town. Also when my AC had issues they responded with in 5 mins to quickly fix the problem. I would highly recommend a stay at this hotel.

Absolutely awesome place at all levels starting form the entry - Security, reception service is amazing, very welcoming, accommodating, yet highly professional (big thanks to Niko and others), the breakfast team, the food itself, bar tenders and sommelier, administrators (Dushka), room services and cleaning staff are amazing!
Overall the level of standards is very high. We travel a lot both in Europe and in North America and we were very pleasantly surprised by the overall Hotel's amenities, the staff and services. They truly make you feel home. Definitely recommend with no hesitation! And if/when we come back to Tbilisi, we'll stay in Mercure.

The staff is simply amazing! They went above and beyond to accommodate our requests: rooms close to each other, some forgotten hygiene items, late checkout, etc. The breakfast buffet has good choices of regional food and has an authentic Georgian sweets and is presented in a very elegant way.
Yes, I wish the rooms had some USB ports for more convenient charging and a bit more stability with the hot water temp in early mornings - something that seems to be a common problem in the region - but this is definitely the hotel I’ll choose for my next stay!

Tiflis/Tbilisi Visit

Hotel is good and located in a nice area. Had some issues with air conditioning system and coffee maker which tripped the fuse. Had to get the service guys to come and get the fuse on but was told not to use the coffee maker again!! Also, fire alarm in the middle of the night, 2 AM, caused chaos and had to evacuate the room 3 times before the alarm could be stopped. I think these are minor issues that can be fixed but needs the hotel management's help and attention

Hotel was clean and comfortable. About 5 minute walk to Old Town. Room was clean and comfortable. Food at the on site steak house was delicious. View from the roof top lounge was beautiful while enjoying some local wine. Reception was attentive and helpful. I would stay here again if I returned to Tbilisi.

Super clean, modern, great location

This hotel is very clean and modern. The staff is very accomodating and they have an excellent on site restaurant. The location is perfect, just around the corner from the fort and old town with lots of shopping. We re-booked it when our flight was cancelled since we'd had such a good experience. If I ever come to Tblisi again I would defininitely stay here. One note: we didn't use the spa and the gym looked pretty small and was in the basement. We got all our exercise walking around town instead.

I regret to say it, but the hotel has very poor service and the staff are not qualified and do not respect the guests !!!
It is not Mercury level of the hotel. Now, respect zero calls BB level.
How you can allow yourself, to wear the uniform of the hotel and behavior like that?
If the security man of the hotel stands next to a girl from reception, cuddle her face and hair tenderly - how you call it ?
What can not respect is it do such things in front of the guest ?
Is it new kind of welcome of the Mercury hotel style?

Unacceptable, when the hotel is almost empty, but to give the room, which has the view from the hotel - poor completely destroyed building.
Unacceptable, when the guest leave the message “please, clean the room” and nobody was there and did not bring even a water!

Low quality personal!
Hope that management will take care about this cases and improve training for the staff and teach them meaning of the respect.

Fantastic service, excellent and really helpful reception staff including Khatia and Ana (plus everyone else). Nothing was too much trouble and the only thing that would have made the stay better would have been a swimming pool - but you can't have everything.

Superb location, 20 mins from airport but 5 mins walking from the baths and other old town attractions.

I liked the location of the property. What I hated the most is the smoking in the Sky7 lounge. When I spoke with the hotel reception, they said that all those who smoke wish to use the Lounge. When I enquired what non-smokers are to do, they had no answer. If they are sympathetic to the smokers, they should create a smoking room and not convert a restaurant and bar into a smoking restaurant! I stopped going to that restaurant after the second visit. How sad. For this very specific reason, I shall not be using this hotel if and when I return to Tbilisi.

Wow!! I felt so cared for at this hotel. The staff was friendly, acocomodating, and welcoming. A friend had recommended the hotel and she nailed it. Location is perfect for seeing Old Town! My only complaint was that breakfast was a bit expensive. Oterhwise, a must stay!!!

Great overall and great in every detail

It is my second time I stay at this hotel. It is an amazing place. I feel so comfortable staying there that I would never even think of anything else in Tbilisi. Great Location and a great quality of the venue is an easy subject to speak about.
Especially important is to emphasis that anybody who works at the hotel is simply great - friendly, helpful and hospitable.
Any of the specific requests was met.
Roof top bar (and again - people who works there) is something so special that you do not want to even think of an alternative to spend your spare time anywhere else, especially when you want to relax after a busy day.
Food is so good and quality that in combination with a convenience of being like home and unique features of a facility you do not want to go out to the city to try your chances somewhere else.
I will miss the place a lot.
Thank you Mercure and all the people who work there to make our stay so pleasant and home like.

Modern hotel close to all attractions in old Tblis

This is a clean an modern hotel situated within walking distance of all of the tourist attractions in old Tblisi town. The rooms are spacious and some have great views over the city. There are several dining options and a great rooftop bar. Breakfasts are great with all the usual hot and cold options.

Friendly front desk but didn't take my credit card there so room service couldn't be charged to the roomm! Weird . Room service food far from good - steak was well cooked but veggies ( asparagus and awful battered onion rings ) sad . For the price , in Georgia, should be better . Location convenient , nice decor. However our previous hotel was so much better food and also cheaper.

Good, modern hotel.

We stayed here one night. There was either a large party staying on our floor or a lot of people from a conference. They were celebrating and our room smelled like smoke. The front desk were very nice in helping us get a new room on a quieter floor.

The rooms themselves are very nice and pretty. Definitely modern design! Location is perfect as your near everything-sites, restos, shopping, etc! We didn't try and of the restaurants so not sure how the dining is.

Overall it was a nice stay and would recommend it.
