There were a lot of carpet bugs and it scared us because we taught they were bed bugs. Stink bugs all over, crawling on us while we slept. Other than that, it was a nice place.

The room was clean, but the property is run down. The mattress on both beds in our room was wore out 10 years ago. We sunk down in the middle all the way to the box springs. It was like climbing a hill to get out of bed.
The carpet in the main room if the sweet was worn so badly that there was a hole where you could see the backing. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone

The rug had not been vacuumed as there were crumbs on the floor The dishes were went to use were dirty dried food . Fridge in bad shape, leaking water on the floor. No hand soaps, hair dryer you had to get from the front desk!
No coffee filters and the shower curtain was so disgusting at the bottom
We stayed there yrs ago and it was just outstanding
Spent our 51st anniversary there this time

Arrived to the room with no heat on. Took an hour to get air temp comfortable. No soap in shower soap dispenser. Upstairs tenants simply walking caused early wake up due to floor creaking badly. Coffee make barely worked. Bed and pillows uncomfortable.

The hotel room was like a small apartment, with a separate bedroom. It was very spacious. It also looked worn, with large marks on the outside door and just a general-looking \"old\" appearance. It was comfortable, and the full kitchen was well stocked with dishes, etc.
It was a longer than usual walk from the parking lot to our room.
Also, we had to go outside, to a separate building, to access the pool. This was disappointing since the weather was cold.
Staff were very friendly.

The rooms were huge and clean. We fixed breakfast in the kitchen of our room. Had a nice table to eat and play Yahtzee at. A balcony to enjoy the outside. There are a few rooms where you park close and don't have steps otherwise there are a lot of steps. I booked thru expedia so check out could not give me a receipt. That was concerning because the price seemed too good and they couldn't confirm the total. But I was only charged what the online said.

Parking was a free for all even though there are parking spots for each room everyone eating there parks where they want. Property is up for sale and owner doesnt want to put any money back into this property and it shows. sheets and blankets were from the 1960's and thats no joke. Sidewalks are all tore up. Our room ac didnt work at all and they are supposed to refund the night and now they are saying I have to do it through expedia and this is a long turn around procedure. Theonly thing this hotle has going for it is the bar upstairs. Restaurant chop house is way over rated we had 4 people and cost us 300 dollars with drinks and dinner. Should have cost 150. As for the hotel main lobby there is a stink that never went away it s probably the carpet stains as all the rooms and every place we went the carpet was nasty so where your flip flops. Pool area and hot tub were in a building with faulty ceilings as holes were starting in the roof. Not to safe in my minds eye.Over all I would have stayed somewhere else and the owner Kenny should be ashamed of himself. He put ALL HIS MONEY IN ANOTHER HOTEL IN TOWN THAT IS UP TO DATE SAYS THE EMPLOYEES AT THIS HOTEL.sHAME ON YOU Kenny... Other renters do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else as you will not be happy here.

Excellent layout more like an apartment love the separate kitchen & eating area. Outside very nice to hang out with family we played cards. Only downside is bathrooms could use remodeling. Especially toilets. Very low & old. However, all in all, we enjoyed our stay and go again

The exterior of the hotel looks to be fairly recent construction (maybe 20 years old?), but the room had some carpet that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years, a musty odor, and plastic plumbing that was not confidence inspiring. Also, there was no written procedure for handling late arrivals, and I was late. Thankfully, a fellow in the bar lead me to a mailbox outside where the key and room documents were placed inside an envelope. The desk clerk left a message on my phone, but strangely that didn't arrive for two more days.

Very nice property with a great view of downtown Nashville. We had a two-bedroom suite so tons of space and kitchen available. Bed was a king and fairly comfortable. Everything was very clean. We walked All around town from our hotel. Service was friendly. The little bar upstairs was super fun and only place open after 10:00 on a Friday night!

We were plesantly surprised!! The grounds were spacious and inviting. Our 2 king bed room was huge! As far as other reviews stating it's outdated, the room is rustic. It fits Nashville. The front desk staff were courteous check in and check out. We will likely always stay at this place every time we visit. Loved it.

The hotel is in a very convenient place in relation to the shops. Although convenient part of the property is on a hill and difficult to walk, especially if you're older. The staff was nice and attentive. The room was clean. The property needs a general update, painting, cleaning, and repair. The restaurant was nice but selections of less costy items would be nice. Do something about the smell in the lobby. Upgrade and clean the pool. Get some comfortable seating in the restaurant.

Positive points: A/C worked well, close to everything, spacious, comfortable enough, affordable.
However, it felt like an abandoned apartment from the early 80s. Furniture and decor was thrift store quality, public bathroom soap dispenser in shower, toilet paper rolls had like 4 sheets left, full size kitchen had no paper towels or napkins, ONE coffee cup, a baggie of plastic knives, broken drawer, ONE drinking glass. Balcony had one plastic chair. Damaged walls, dingy carpet, threadbare sheets on beds. We didn't expect or require luxury but the basics would have been nice. It was more like a transient hotel for parolees.

The property was very clean but very dated. Including a musty smell in the lobby area. There are a lot of stairs to climb to get around the propery and the wooden balconies and railing are very old. The room was very large with 2 bathrooms similar to a one bedroom apartment. Our room was on the main street so there was a lot of traffic noise throughout the night.

I just love this hotel. Its layouts are more like a condo. We have plenty of room to spread out. I can walk my dog around beautiful grounds. I love having a full size refrigerator, two king beds and two full bathrooms. It is a bit vintage but it meets my needs. We enjoy the indoor pool snd hot tub too. My water pressure and water temperature are excellent. I walk

Don’t get a room on the 3rd floor. I have stairs in my home that I go up and down several times a day with no problem but these stairs are steep and you have to walk up a hill before you get to them, they’re exhausting.

Great place to stay if you're visiting the state park, spending time in Nashville, attending a concert, etc.. Our room was like a spacious apartment!!
