Room was clean even though very outdated. I would guess 1980’s furniture. No bugs. You have to judge it per what it is. This is a 1.5 star party motor motel. Don’t expect luxury, you’re not going to get it. Not really as bad as all the negative reviews though. Only real complaint is loud neighbors late at night yelling and banging doors. Very little sleep was had due to this but we didn’t complain because that is the type of place we were paying for. We had a good time.

Did not stay there got a room elsewhere looked like they were closed and this was at 4:30 in the afternoon.

Got a room elsewhere. I am there 3 or 4 times a year and I won't go back to the Salt Creek Inn.

Just the basics...there was 2 sheets of toilet paper left on the roll with no extra roll left. Make sure you take wipes. The bed mattress was from a roll away just sitting on top of a box spring. No chairs in room because they were sitting outside...smh...just awful.

The beds and bathroom was clean. The carpet was filthy and turned our socks black. There was to place to sit outside you room. We brought our hairdryer and there were insufficient, towels and wash cloths. Had to ask for more. Never cleaned out room in the 4 day , 3 night stay.
Will not stay there again.

I knew what I was getting into with a low rated hotel, but yeah...not great but not the worst. Room had several flaws and the water was shut off the morning after my first night so I couldn't shower or brush my teeth. Wifi didn't work, was never informed of the Wifi password until I walked down and asked. I recommend upgrades in several regards.

The fact we were able to book 2 rooms in peak weekendvOctober should tell you all you need to know. We desperately needed rooms at the time. The general condition of the site is run down however the rooms wete clean but very dated. The light in the bathrooms was just a hole in the ceiling. The manager was very accommodating and put our room next to our daughter and her family before they checked in which was nice. Its an ok place if you just need a pkace to crash for a night but I would not recommend spending a weekend there.

Would not let us have a 1st floor room because they didn’t have the staff to clean any of the rooms. They do not have an elevator and my husband cannot walk stairs. The room did not have a remote for the TV and they didn’t have enough pillows. The fire alarm on the ceiling was broken and not secured in place.

The hotel is run down. People are longterm living in the downstairs rooms.The online pictures are not a true reflection of the property. We found another hotel nearby and stayed there. We returned the key. Never saw anyone there. Expedia is trying to get our money back. No wonder the property has a no refund policy.

Faucet handles bad sink and tub. Tub drain after shower took long time to drain. Would have been nice to have at least one chair in room. Unfortunately could not an opening window with screen for fresh air. A/C to have a constant fan mode like many do would have been nice. Convenient location only plus.

It was ok, for the price we paid for two rooms, double beds. There was no water in the toilet. Had to flush first before it held water for a short time. The water in the morning for a shower was cold. Overall though it was ok, it was convenient to the area we were visiting in a short time frame. But next time will try a different place.

We booked this stay for after a concert. Hotel was grossly run down parking lot was significantly damaged with large chunks of grass. We checked in at 1030 pm. We were the only car in the entire parking lot for the entire stay. Very sketchy. Would NOT recommend. Plus Expedia lusted the fee for 155 for the room. Later found hotel site lusted for 80.

The first room we were given had mouse poop in the cabinet and between the mattress and box springs. The carpet was all wrinkled up, the smoke detector was missing from the ceiling, the toilet had a dirty ring in the bowl, and the furniture was stained and falling apart. We complained and were given a new room, which was slightly better because it didn’t have evidence of mice and it had a smoke detector. There was old junk in a shopping cart in the stairwell and the general appearance of the property was not good. Weeds were growing up everywhere and the grass really needed cut. We only ended up staying because they were the only hotel in town that was pet friendly and had available rooms. If it weren’t for that we would have packed up and left. I like to end on a positive note, so I will say the bed was pretty comfortable.

You get what you pay for

The hotel was not at all what we expected. And the description stated within walking distance to some of the places we wanted to go and there was no way to actually walk there, which was the only reason I booked this hotel. We checked out once we saw the actual room and paid for a different hotel that we could actually walk to the places we wanted to go.

The room was very dated, no WiFi, no coffee, there was a lamp attached to the ceiling. A patch of mismatched carpet on the door, holes in the door where someone has punched it. Under the sink was falling down. The room smelled so strongly of disinfectant.

We just needed a room to sleep before a race so it severed its purpose but definitely wouldn’t stay again.

The baseboard trims coming off our door jam was busted or someone had tried to break in and busted the door frame. Unfortunately I didn’t take pictures. Would not recommend staying here!

Stay away from this hotel !!!

The stay was terrible. The room constantly smelled like cigarette. The amenities were extremely poor and not mention the room was trash. The carpets had weird black stains everywhere and the bathroom tiles were broke and literally everything was falling apart. The bed was in bad condition and the door lock was like impossible to open from the outside

The temperature of the room was great. The sheets were clean.
The toilet was not clean, had a ring around the water level and the room stunk. Like a stale old smell. The fridge looked ckean, but opening the door would drag on the carpet. I paid for two nights, but only stayed one night.

So the property is a little dated, and looks pretty old from the outside. But the gentleman working the check-in was very friendly and the room was great! No coffee in the room, so prepare to walk over to McDonald's for your morning cup. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was great. Heat worked and it had a nice kitchenette with a microwave and fridge. It was very quiet when I was there, but it wasn't very crowded. Only noise was from people going into their rooms (it is a motel, so you hear that a little more).Close to the little town of Nashville and easy to get to. I will definitely stay here again if I'm ever in the area. A basic, clean room for a great price.

Hotel needs a lot of repair and updates. Stayed as it is close to the Brown County Music Center. 3 small pillows in terrible shape for a king size bed. Burn marks on the tub and trim coming off the wall. Police were called for a disturbance in the from next to ours and we got very little sleep. I would not recommend.

This could be such a nice property. It is right beside the Brown County Music Center and in the heart of Nashville. The carpet had shreds in it. The shower was dirty. The shower curtain had black mold at the bottom. The room smelled. The gentleman that was there was very kind and helped us get to the right room. Our key would open more than one room. Luckily, the electricity was out all over the county and there was only 3 vehicles for the night at the whole place. Our door frame was majorly busted. We did have a chain, deadbolt and door lock, so no one could have came in without really making a lot of noise.

Well, let me break it to you this way. Motel 6 has more amenities and better housekeeping. For $285 / two nights we had expected the toilet bowl to have been cleaned, an in room coffee maker or at least coffee in the lobby. Okay, so i coukd drive to the closest gas station in the rain for my coffee, but just saying. Old and antiquainted motel open 8 mos. / year. Can't recommend staying elsewhere enough.
